AMELIA'S P.O.V:

"Ryan why do I need to-"

"Just call it now!" Ryan exclaimed. He was shaking slightly and I wanted nothing more than to give him a hug.

"Derek! Call an ambulance!" I called and he ran in.

"What? Why?"

"A..Abby..Sh..She..." Ryan stuttered out.

"I'm calling it now." Derek said and pulled his phone out.

"Okay Ryan. You need to calm down and tell us what happened to Aaron's mum so that we can tell the hospital." I said calmly and gave Izzie her bottle because she started to cry again.

"She... She's on the floor in the bathroom. Her head's bleeding, a lot. She has a pulse but won't wake up or respond." Ryan said and his voice wavered as he spoke. Derek listened and repeated it to the person on the phone.

"Where's Aaron?" I asked Ryan gently. I sat him on a chair in the kitchen and rubbed his shoulder slightly. I knew he was shaken up but didn't know how to handle it because of our argument.

"Up.Upstairs with her."Ryan said and I nodded. Jimmy and Tommy were now in the room and I turned to Tommy.

"Get Aaron down here and Derek up there." I said and he nodded. He grabbed Derek and lead him upstairs. Within a few minutes Aaron tumbled into the kitchen and I pulled out another chair and put him on it. I handed him Izzie knowing, from experience, that a sense of familiarity can calm you down. And from the looks of things Aaron looked like he was about to have a panic attack and so, needed all the comfort he could get.

I heard the ambulance pull up outside and I went and opened the door for them. I headed back into the kitchen to see Ryan trying to calm Aaron whilst he held Izzie close to him.

"Aaron they're going to take her to the hospital in a few minutes do you want to go in the ambulance with her?" I asked him and he nodded. He handed Izzie to Ryan who took her with a shocked expression on his face. I wanted to take a picture because it was such a priceless moment, but it wasn't the time.  The ambulance men walked in and Jimmy left to explain the situation in detail.

"What about Izzie?" Aaron asked and stood up.

"We'll look after her and get to the hospital as soon as possible, okay?" I said and ran my hand down his face and onto his shoulder. He nodded.

"Thank you."

"It's fine. Now go." I said and he nodded and went to leave the room.

"Oh, and don't let her go to sleep without her blanket otherwise she'll wake up grumpy. And don't give her anything with orange in it because she comes up in a rash." Aaron said and I nodded as left properly. He followed the stretcher out and the rest of the guys came down the stairs after. When the ambulance was gone I sighed and looked at Izzie who was grabbing Ryan's hair. He was smiling at he and trying to get her to let go and I swear I felt my heart skip a beat.

"I guess we best get ready to go." Derek sighed as he ran his hands through his hair.

"Yeah. Let me just get some stuff. You okay with her Ryan?" I asked and his head snapped to my direction.

"Yeah. Of course." He said breathlessly and I nodded. It hurt that we had to speak this way, strained and over thought. But there was nothing I could do about it at that moment. I ran upstairs and grabbed a random bag I found in Izzie's room. I filled it with some nappies, a bib,her blanket, spare clothes and a few toys I found laying in her cot. I grabbed her fluffy coat and pink trainers and went back downstairs. I came down to find her in Derek's arms and I put her coat and shoes on her. I went to the counter to make up some bottle but found two already made up ones, a dummy and a packet of quavers. I threw them into the bag and turned around.

"Who made the bottles?" I asked. The guys all pointed at Ryan, who was on his phone. He looked up in confusion.

"What?"

"Who made the bottles..."

"Oh yeah that was me."

"You know, i'm starting to think you have a child of your own the way you're handling this." I said and a smile adorned my face. He noticed and for a split second he smiled too before it turned into a smirk.

"There's a possibility I could, you know with all the girls I-"

"Alright!" Jimmy cut Ryan off. I glared at Ryan. I couldn't help the jealousy that came with the thought of Ryan with another girl.

"What's the matter? Is someone jealous?" Ryan asked and I glared at him.

Just when we were going so well...

"Anyway! We're going to take Derek's car. Amelia, Ryan and Izzie in Ryan's! Her car seat is under the stairs by the way!"Jimmy called and they all fled out the door to leave Ryan, Izzie and I. Ryan sighed and took Izzie from my arms. She was nearly asleep. I grabbed her blanket from the counter and passed it to him. He took it wordlessly and I grabbed the changing bag, got the car seat out from under the stairs and followed Ryan out to his car. He didn't realise I was behind him and I heard him singing softly to Izzie. The smile that took over my face could not have been helped and the mush that was my insides probably could have never been restored. He was a natural, that much was obvious. He didn't have any tiny siblings and from what I knew, no little cousins either, so what he was doing was all initiative.

One day he'd be a great father.

When we reached the car I plugged in the car seat and made sure it was secure before I allowed Ryan to place a sleeping Isabella into her car seat. He strapped her in and I sat in the passenger seat of his car with her changing bag in my arms. He got in the driver's side and started the engine.

"Oh shit." He said and turned the engine off.

"What?" I asked.

"The pushchair." He murmured and left the car. He came back about 5 minutes later and put the folded up pushchair in his tiny boot before he jumped in his seat again.  "Are you ready?" He asked me breathlessly and I stifled a smile and laugh.

"I don't know. Surely I should be asking you that question?" I asked and he looked at me with a confused expression on his perfect face.

"What do you mean?" He asked and I looked away from him with a knowing smile and I saw him try to hide his.

The car ride was silent, with the radio on quietly. Surprisingly it wasn't awkward. But unfortunately the silence allowed my brain to take over and all I could think about was the boy sitting next to me, driving the car with his perfectly ruffled pitch black hair, sharp jawline and oh-so kissable lips; and how all I wanted was him, and no matter what I did to avoid the thought, it would always be about him.

When we reached the hospital Ryan got the pushchair out whilst I fetched Isabella from her car seat. I put her in the pushchair and Ryan made sure she was warm before we headed for the entrance doors. We went to the reception desk and the woman sitting there offered us a fake smile but you could see the judgement in her eyes

"Hi. How can I help you? The young parent therapy room is on the third floor." She said. She smiled at Ryan but made sure to give me the stink eye. I glared at her, as did Ryan.

"Actually-" I hissed but stopped when Izzie whimpered and started to cry. I turned to her pushchair and stroked her head. "Shh, shh. It's okay."

"Pass her here babe." Ryan said and I passed Izzie to him without so much as blinking at the nickname. Isabella immediately quietened down and snuggled into Ryan's chest. I gave him the milk bottle from my bag and he fed her whilst I turned back to the judgmental receptionist.

"She is not our child. She is a friend's little sister. So i'd shut your mouth if I was you before I get you fired. Alright? So no, we don't want your stupid therapy room. We want to know where Abby Wesley is situated. So tell us." I growled out at her and she cowered back. She typed a few things on her computed before she looked up at us. We were both glaring at her and she looked like she was about to wet herself.

"Room 206. Second floor." She said and I smirked at her as I grabbed the pushchair. Ryan glared at the woman as he walked behind me with Isabella in his arms.

We eventually reached the room after a lot of confusion and walked into the waiting room to find the rest of the boys already there.

"And what took you guys so long?" Derek asked protectively.

"What do you think? They love Isabella so much they were trying to procreate themselves." Jimmy snorted and Derek hit him. Ryan sighed and rolled his eyes.

"How is she?"

"She's stable, just asleep at the moment, she's had 6 stitches on her head since she cut it open and lost quite a lot of blood so is having a transfusion just to make sure her levels are average. But they think she slipped on a toy or something in the bathroom and smacked her head on the sink. They found a bit of china on her, therefore the story. " Tommy explained and  Ryan let out a breath of relief.

"Thank fuc-"

"Language! Young children learning to talk!" Jimmy chastised.

"Whatever, at least she's okay." Ryan said and we all nodded.

"Yeah, but new piece of not so good information. Because of hitting her heard she's got a really bad concussion and so, they want to keep her here for about a week to watch over her." Aaron said when he walked out from his mum's room.

"Sh*t." Ryan muttered. Jimmy glared at him.

"Language."

"Not the biggest concern at the moment." I growled at him.

"Listen, I've called our Dad but he says he's not legally aloud near Izzie until she's 18. She needs to be put somewhere permanent otherwise she won't settle and will know something is wrong." Aaron said and everyone looked towards me.

"What?"I asked.

"You're good with children."Tommy stated simply.

"And?"

"You could babysit for a week."

"Why can't Aaron?" I asked.

"Amelia, Aaron nearly set his house on fire within 5 minutes of his mum being gone." Derek said and I sighed.

"She can't come back to mine. It would be a death trap, seriously." I said. I could barely look after myself properly, let alone a 1 year old.

"You'd stay at mine, with me." Aaron said.

"I can't look after her myself. And neither can you."

"That's why Ryan will come too. Just no kinky business." Aaron grinned at Ryan smugly.

"What? Why me? I'm horrible with kids!" Ryan exclaimed, whilst he stood up and rocked Izzie back and forth in her pushchair to calm her. We all stared pointedly at what he was doing. "Whatever." He grumbled.

"Just agree to it. You know you want me, who wouldn't?" I asked cockily, momentarily forgetting about our argument.

"Someone hotter." Ryan said suggestively and winked sexily at me. I blinked a few times to register what he just did and what I thought about it.

"What-" I cleared my throat. "Whatever helps you sleep at night." I muttered embarrassed.

"You do-" He winked again. "-Or at least you will tonight."

"What?" I asked, shocked.

"There's only one spare bedroom babe." He said and stared at me. The look he was giving me was hot, there was no doubt about that. But I was not okay with accepting what he was making me feel by doing that.

"Then you're sharing with Aaron." I grumbled.

"Uh, not happening."Aaron said quickly.

"I'll sleep on the sofa." I offered.

"You need to be near Izzie." Ryan said. He was staring me down, waiting for me to crack.

"Well shi-"

"Young child! God guys!" Jimmy shouted.

"-ckle. Well shickle. There, happy?" I asked.

"Very." Jimmy grinned at me.
