Squirrelflight looked down at the tabby body in front of her, a pit of sadness filling her he's dead gone not there to love or to comfort her, Bramlbeclaw is dead. Ashfur padded up and sat next to her his eyes filling with sadness and a glimmer of pride."It's OK he was a great warrior and we will all miss him." He whisperd to her and pulled her to his chest.

Squirrelflight sat by Brambleclaws body that night, remembering what a great warrior he was and how he loved her. Ashfur sat beside her looking around at the sky then resting his gaze on Squirrelflight then leaned in closer closing his eyes and listing to her breathing. Later that morning Squirrelflight watched as Bramblecaws body was taken away, her eyes filling with tears once more and she ran into the warrior den and curled up in her nest and closed her eyes, then fell into a deep sleep.

She walked along the path looking around the thick trees, when a flash of tabby flew past her. "Bramblecalw!Wait for me!" Then she sped after him following him at break neck speed. "Wait! Slow down!Wait!" But he did not hear her and kept runing till he came to a clearing in the woods, Squirrelfilght stopped and looked around her gaze settled on a small mass of fur in the middle of the clearing.

But at a second look she saw that it was her, her and Ashfur and kits all curled up next to their mother on was gold with blue eyes the other a light brown tabby. Squirrelflight gasped, "Its me..Me and Ashfur and our kits." She looked at Brambleclaw but he had gone, Squirrelflight looked around and the forest started fading till the only thing left was the family still asleep, but the mother got up and walked over to Squirrelflight who came face to face with her self.

"It will all work out in the end don't worry."She said before it all faded and Squirrelflight woke up in her nest Ashfur siting over her watching, when she woke he nuzzled her. Squirrelflight looked up at him, his blue eyes filled with love."Squirrelflight you have not answered my question will you be my mate?" Hope filled his eyes, Squirrelflight felt confidence fill her maybe this was meant to be after all.

"Yes" Ashfur pured then curled up next to her and they both fell asleep eager for their new beginning.
