Rex was in a Jedi Cruiser. The only other person there was Ahsoka.

Suddenly, a hooded figure dropped into the room, firing a blaster. Ahsoka's form crumpled and the figure disappeared. 

Rex rushed to Ahsoka's side. She was still breathing-but just barely. He felt her hand grab his.

"Rex." 

"Ahsoka-you'll be okay. I'll go get Kix. Stay with me, Ahsoka, please." Rex pleaded.

"I...can't..." Ahsoka breathed.

"Yes, you can. Don't go..." Rex begged. Ahsoka's blue eyes met his. 

"I...have to..."

"I'll go get help!" Rex promised. He started to get up. Ahsoka pulled him back down.

"No. Stay...please..."

"Ahsoka, you will be okay. Don't you dare die, you hear me?" Rex said.

"Goodbye, Rex." 

Ahsoka stopped breathing. Her lifeless body fell to the floor. 

Rex woke up. He opened the door and raced into the hallway and opened the door to Ahsoka's room. She was reading a book by the light of a lamp, and she was most certainly alive.

She turned to the door at the sound of his entry. "Rex?" 

"Uh...I couldn't sleep." Rex lied.

"So you came here." Ahsoka said skeptically.

"I...had a nightmare." Rex admitted.

Ahsoka's eyes softened. "Close the door and get in here."
