Stormpaw was awoken by a prodding to her side. "Stormpaw! Wake up! It's time!" Adderpaw nearly yelled.

"W..Wha--?" She sleepily meowed, but was interrupted by a loud voice throughout the camp.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Fallen Oak for a Clan meeting!"

Then she realized.

Twelve moons.

Her warrior assessment was a few moonrises ago.

She joined her siblings outside, as Ravenstar spoke again.

"We have gathered here, to give three apprentices their warrior name." Murmurs and purrs rippled throughout the crowd. "Adderpaw, Stormpaw, and Moonpaw; please step forward." The three apprentices obeyed. "Adderpaw, please come by my side." The black tom nervously stepped beside the leader. "I, Ravenstar, leader of ForestClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn." He nodded at Adderpaw. "Adderpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Adderpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Adderstep. StarClan honors your courage and patience, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ForestClan."

Ravenstar rested his muzzle on Adderstep's head, and he licks the leader's shoulder.

"Adderstep! Adderstep!" The clan chanted. Stormpaw saw pride shine through her brother and couldn't help but smile, as he jumped below the Fallen Oak.

"Stormpaw, please step beside me." Stormpaw stepped where Adderstep once was. "I, Ravenstar, leader of ForestClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn." He repeated. "Stormpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your own life?"

"I do." She proudly announced.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Stormpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Stormblaze. StarClan honors your spirit and hard work, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ForestClan."

The same sequence of gestures occurred, as the clan chanted her new name.

"Stormblaze! Stormblaze!"

She held her head high, and joined her brother below.

Moonpaw ended up being named Moonfall, for reasons that we're unknown to Stormblaze.

As she was drifting off to sleep, a panting, raspy tom voice startled her back to reality.

"St-Storm..blaze, Adderst..step, Moonfall...ShadeClan...in our territory... need you.... go... Tall Spruce... now...!" The brown, clearly out of breath tabby tom said.

The siblings exchanged glances, and quickly darted towards the Tall Spruce.

ShadeClan might be attacking.
