"I'll be right back," Stormpaw meowed, escaping her siblings' grasp. Adderpaw and Moonpaw exchanged confused glances, as the gray she-cat ran into the forest, and towards the golden eyes. And she found exactly what she expected. "Badgerpaw?! What are you doing here?" She quietly hissed.

"After I dropped my mentor off at the Medicine Den, I.. stopped by, to see if you were okay," She admitted.

"Of course I'm okay! You shouldn't be here," She warned.

"And why not?" The black and white apprentice scoffed.

"Someone might see you! Or smell you!"

"Nobody is going to see me, and if they do smell me, you can just say you got the scent from fighting my mentor."

"I guess," Stormpaw sighed.

"But you're right; I shouldn't be here. So, why don't we meet someplace else?"

The gray she-cat's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"I mean.. Why don't we meet at Tall-trees, at moonhigh?" She asked.

"I don't know." Stormpaw replied.

"Look," Badgerpaw started. "If you don't want to come, then don't come. But I will be there no matter what."

"I'll think about it."

"Fine. Goodbye."

Stormpaw shook her head, and turned back to go to the camp. As she arrived, Adderpaw sniffed the air. "Ew." He stuck his tongue out in disgust. "Why does it smell like ShadeClan?"

"Because, I fought that ShadeClan warrior, so I probably got his scent." Stormpaw half-lied.

"Oh.. I... guess that makes sense?" Adderpaw meowed.

The three siblings looked up at the darkening sky, as the silver moon started to appear. Stars began to dot the sky, making pretty patterns and shapes.

"We should be getting to sleep." Stormpaw insisted, turning to leave towards the nests.

"Wait," Adderpaw stopped her. "You should visit Lightpool first! She needs to tend to your wounds."

She shook her head. "I don't want to bother her in the middle of the night to complain about some kit-wounds." The gray she-cat joked.

Adderpaw and Moonpaw exchanged worried glances, but decided to just shrug it off and go to sleep.

A little while later...

Stormpaw flicked her ear, to listen to the noises. The soft breathing of cats, and snoring filled her ears, and she nodded to herself. Nobody was lying awake, nobody was stirring. She carefully got up, and left the den.

As she exited camp, she decided that if everything goes well with Badgerpaw, and she isn't actually planning on killing the she-cat who wounded her mentor, they should have something to eat.

The dark gray she-cat quickly grabbed a blackbird and a vole from the fresh-kill pile, and carried them in her mouth.

It was around moonhigh when she arrived at the Tall-trees, and she saw a familiar black and white face staring at her from atop a low-hanging branch.

"Hello!" Badgerpaw chirped, jumping to the ground.

"Hi." She meowed calmly, placing down the prey on the low grass. "Why did you want to meet?"

"I wanted to get to know you, and maybe become friends?"

"Are you sure? I attacked your mentor.."

Badgerpaw nodded. "It's okay! I understand. We were on your territory, we were trespassing!" She meowed, her voice growing louder with each syllable. "I'm just glad you didn't attack me.. I probably would have died." The black and white cat laughed.

"Yeah..."

"Let's eat!" Badgerpaw demanded, bouncing over to the prey.

They began eating, and talking about things that interest them. A few hours past, and the moon started to go down.

"Oh, we should probably get going." Badgerpaw mewed sadly.

Stormpaw nodded. "We can maybe meet here again in two sunrises?"

"Why exactly two?"

"I need to sleep tonight." She chuckled. Badgerpaw nodded

"Bye, Stormpaw!"

"Goodbye, Badgerpaw."

As Stormpaw approached her camp, a familiar, smell filled her nose. It was ForestClan. Her home.

I know Badgerpaw and Stormpaw's friendship seems odd, but more about why it happened so quickly will be explained later.
