CHAPTER TWENTY
JONATHAN
I pushed through the masses of people, clasping Alistair's hand in mine. A few people gave us some looks, but people were mostly too caught up in themselves to care what we were doing. I smiled, glancing back at Alistair as I led us to the kitchen. I needed some alcohol running through my veins.
Alistair's eyes flirted across the room. Every time they landed on someone he knew, his eyebrows would knit together and he would squeeze my palm. I knew he was worried about people's reactions, but I didn't think they would turn out to be too bad. I would squeeze his hand back in reassurance. This was the right choice. Being public was a step in the right direction, I could feel it.
As I elbowed my way to the fridge, I pulled out two beers. I could tell it was a cheap brand and probably watered down. All alcohol tasted bad to me, so it didn't make much of a difference. I popped the tops of them off on the counter, handing one back to Ally.
He stared at me in awe. "How did you do that?!" He asked. If only he knew...
I chuckled. "You mean opening the bottles? Lots of practice, that's for sure. Cheers." I smirked, holding my bottle to his. They made a satisfying clinking noise as they made contact.
I threw my head back, taking a swig. I felt like getting f*cked up. The liquid burned slightly as it made its way down my throat, but that was the one part about drinking I liked. The steady beat of the music matched with my heart and my foot tapped along.
Alistair sipped slowly at his drink, nodding his head to the song. We made our way into the backyard, where the party was really going on. Ally stared into the crowd of people, biting his lip. God, he was just too adorable when he did that.
"Do you wanna dance?" I asked, holding my arm out to him.
Alistair blinked. "Wait, what? Really?"
I nodded, placing my hands on his hips. My lips curved upwards into a smile. I swayed back and forth. "Come on now, dance Golden Boy!"
Alistair blushed, ducking his head. "Jonathan," he whined. Okay, that noise was... was not fair.
I just laughed, pushing him into the crowd with me. He laughed along with me, stumbling a bit. I steadied him before he fell, though.
"So... you know how to twerk?" I joked, wiggling my eyebrows.
Alistair gasped. "Jon! Shut up! I'm not going to twerk, you horny freakazoid!" He giggled, smacking my chest.
"Hey, watch it! I'm taller than you and I will sit on you," I playfully threatened, flicking him on the shoulder.
"Sit on my face, baby, please..." Alistair whispered into my ear. Never have I become hard so quickly. Little me was straining against my pants in seconds.
Alistair folded over in laughter, tears springing to his eyes. I grumbled, crossing my arms. I couldn't control my body's reactions to things!
"Well now I'm no longer in the mood to dance..." I complained. Was I acting like a child? Yes. Did I care? No.
"Aw, come on, Jon! I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you..." Alistair's voice dropped, a smirk appearing on his face.
Okay, this kid needed to stop. Jesus was coming and he had his bucket of holy water with him. I was a needy teenage boy and Ally was just making everything worse.
"Let's just dance, you a$$butt..." I replied.
And we did. We partied to the upbeat songs. We did a little rocking when a slow song came on. We just did it all.
As we danced, we continued to drink. Was this a bad idea? Yes. Did that stop either of us? No. I refrained from getting too drunk. Alistair, on the other hand, just chugged it down like a champ.
You may be wondering what happens when Alistair gets drunk. It's not good, I can tell you that.
Alistair trudged over to the car, giggling like a madman. "Jon, you're so f*cking hot!"
You see what I mean? Totally smashed.
I opened the door for him and he plopped down in his seat. I buckled him up before leaning in and giving him a kiss on the cheek. He pouted, pulling on my shirt and trying to make me sit on his lap.
I laughed. "Alistair, no. We gotta get home."
Alistair squinted at me. "What if I want you to f^ck me, though?"
I sighed. "I want to f^ck you too, Ally, I really do. But you know, I'd rather go home and go to sleep."
Alistair let out a rather unattractive noise. "That's not fair! I want to have the sex! Give me the sex!" He complained.
I shook my head closing his door before going around the car and getting in on my side. I had sobered up and felt fine enough to drive.
As I attempted to slide the key into the ignition, Alistair grabbed my wrist. "What the f^ck, man?" He growled.
I blinked. "Huh? What's wrong?"
"You're not driving me, you f^cking idiot. You're drunk and I'd rather not die!" Alistair hissed, snatching the keys from me.
"I'm fine, I swear! I only drank like two beers. That's nothing." I argued, trying to take them back.
Alistair wasn't having it. He unbuckled and climbed into the backseat, clutching the keys to his chest "Nope! These are staying with me until morning! I'm not leaving this car and this car ain't moving."
"Isn't." I immediately corrected. Alistair rolled his eyes.
"Shut up. I'm going to sleep..." he mumbled, rolling over.
I sighed. He expected both of us to stay in here all night? Fine. Whatever. I could deal with that.
I crawled into the back seat with him and he moaned. "Stop moving around, Jon! I'm tiredddddddddddd...."
"Shush," I whispered, laying down and pulling him on top of me. Proud of myself for not dying because we weighed close to the same amount.
"Mmmm..." Alistair hummed, getting comfortable and snuggling close. I could get used to this.
It didn't take long for me to drift off to sleep. The sound of Alistair's even breathing was like a lullaby that I could listen to all night...
AN: Hey boo. It's me. I did it. I'm not dead yet. ;)
