Now that I have been "properly" fed, I have the strength to move forward and venture into the forest. There should be a good amount of food sources in the forest for me to have if I become hungry again.
I first check on the tourniquet to make sure it is still holding up.
Once I have finished my once-over, I look up with a sense of determination, and head forth.

The sunlight comes through the leaves bathing me in a soft green light. I take in my surroundings, and I notice a bush of berries. I grab a handful of them and stuff them in my jeans pocket for later, in case I don't come upon another food source.
I continue on, admiring all the beauty that I never really notice when I am looking down at my phone 24/7.

Because then I can easily reach it in case of an emergency!
I reach around to the back of my jeans, and sure enough, there is my phone with the baby pink case.
I try to turn it on in a frenzy, almost dropping it because of my hands shaking from excitement.
Finally! A way to get out of here.
In all of my exhilaration, I didn't realize that the phone was flashing the signal for NO BATTERY.
There goes all my hopes, right down the drain.
I put my phone right where it normally goes, continue my trek through the forest.
