Chapter Four

A/N: Ahhhh this took so long!
She is finally getting to Valley Academy! And a new character joins le party! At first, he wasn't inspired after anyone, but I found him acting like my little brother a bit. Coincidence? Not sure.
Sorry if it gets boring, I didn't have much motivation. But I swear I will get killed for the cliffhanger at the end ahh

As Sunrise expected, Silver's mother didn't like that Sunrise brought Cloudless back. But then Silver jumped in and said that Cloudless couldn't get there on her own, so her mother gave in.
When it was morning, they went on the move as soon as possible. Cloudless kept her mouth shut, unless there was a part in a conversation she wanted to join into. Sunrise likes that she was mostly quiet.
But after they left Jewel Hive, Cloudless and Silver decided to do some bonding.
"You like Journey Of The Hives as well?" Silver burst out.
"It's the absolute best!" Cloudless exclaimed.
"Hey, I read it as well!" Sunrise argued. "I'm still on the first book, but it's really good so far!"
"What did you think when the HiveWing betrayed the SilkWing?" Silver asked.
       "Stop giving spoilers!" Sunrise shouted.
"I was so surprised!" Cloudless said. "I thought the HiveWing was the good guy!"
        "Stooooooooop," Sunrise complained.
"I also read Scavengers Of The Plains! It's amazing!" Cloudless said.
        "I haven't!" Sunrise protested.
         "Ohmygoshthatisthebestbookintheentireworld!" Silver exclaimed.
"STOP GIVING ME SPOILERS!" Sunrise shouted.
"Sorry!" Cloudless said. "We got a bit... carried away."
"Well, now i know what will happen in Journey Of The Hives!" Sunrise shouted.
Cloudless ducked her head, looking embarrassed. "Sorry..."
Sunrise growled and looked forward again.
"I think you hurt her feelings," Silver whispered.
"I'll apologize later." Sunrise muttered. "I don't think she wants to talk right now."

Before long, they reached the ocean. So they just had to cross the ocean. But the problem was, they had no wings. So solution: Silver's father, Emperor, came along to help with Sunrise. But then Cloudless joined the group, so they had the problem again.
"We can make two trips?" Cloudless suggested.
"Shouldn't someone watch the one that waits for you though?" Emperor muttered.
"You can take one over first, then bring the other two!" Cloudless said hopefully.
"Fine," Silver's mother said. "Silver can go first."
"YES!" Silver ran over and stuck her tongue out at them. Cloudless giggled.
"What if you don't find anything?" Sunrise asked.
"We will find it," Silver said. "Don't worry! Let's go!"
Cloudless and Sunrise were quiet for a few seconds.
"So," Cloudless said finally. "What are we going to do?"
          "I don't know."
          "Want to make a bet?"
"What in Pantala do you mean?" Sunrise asked.
"Silver told me that you and her made a bet for when you two got to Jewel Hive. Wanna make a bet?"
"Only if your ok with losing," Sunrise smiled. "Fine. I say twenty minutes."
            "Pfft. Too long. Ten minutes."
"It is not too long!" Sunrise twitched her antennae. "You made it too short!"
            "Hah. You sure about that?"
They argued about that until Silver's mother got back.
"And for the grand reveal!" Cloudless twitched her antennae to check the time. "Fifteen minutes!"
"Oh dear, in the middle," Sunrise said. "I guess it's a tie."
"Nope! Rules say that if it's in the middle, the lowest amount wins! So I win! In your face!" Cloudless bragged.
Sunrise sighed. "Fine. What do I have to do?"
"I'll decide when we get there!" Cloudless said cheerfully. "Now don't be a snail and hurry up!"

They reached Valley Academy later that day, and as soon as her harness came off, a dragon barreled into her.
"HI HI HI!" They exclaimed. "I have been WAITING FOR YOU! Wait, your Silver's friend, right?"
"Yeah, in the flesh. But PLEASE GET OFF OF ME!" Sunrise almost roared.
The dragon quickly got off. Sunrise rolled over to look at hi,, and she was surprised that her eyeballs didn't pop out of her head.
               This wasn't a ordinary SilkWing.
In fact, it looked like a hybrid. But it didn't look like it would be from a Pantalan tribe.
"Oh, my. Gosh." Cloudless grabbed out a sketchbook from her bag and started drawing the new dragon down.
"Sorry about her." Sunrise said. "She is impolite."
               "EXCUSE ME?" Cloudless exclaimed.
"It's fine," The hybrid said. "Most dragons react like that when they see me, actually. I'm Sunburst." Sunburst sat down and held his head high.

A/N: Hehe, this is the blue and green dragon from the cover!

                "Where's Silver?" Cloudless asked.
"Figuring out where her cave is. THREE MOONS COME ON YOU HAVE TO SEE THE TREES!"
"Got it!" Cloudless burst after him.
Sunrise trailed after. She knew this school was safe. There weren't any evils lurking around or anything.
But somehow, Sunrise didn't feel entirely safe anymore.
