I woke up to a wonderful smell coming from the kitchen.

I can see Kali's neat little bun on top of her head as I hear her voice ring out singing a song.

I got up and walked into the kitchen slowly wrapping my arms around her waist scaring her a bit.

"Shit.. I thought you still sleeping." She gasped.

I chuckled, "I was until I heard your fine ass in here singing... and cooking up a meal." I kissed her cheek.

She giggles slightly and proceeded to flip the pancake she was making.

"I'm sorry about last night.." She said as I sat down at the table.

I nodded my head, "It's all good. I understand what you meant, but the both of y'all are really important to me and you know she doesn't like being at home." I said softly.

She smiled slightly continuing to make breakfast for us.

"You can invite her back over so I can apologize." She said.

"Okay cool, I gotchu." I said getting up to fetch my phone.

I texted Ta'Lani letting her know that Kali wanted to apologize over breakfast.

Of course her fat ass said she on the way and to throw a little cheese in her eggs.

I rolled my eyes going back to help set up the table.

"Are you doing anything today?" She asked.

"Well I was going to pick up the phone you broke and have it as a back up....but nothing else after why?"

"I need you to go to the bank and pull out 2 grand and so I can send it to my sister." She said making her look fucking retarded.

"Hold the fuck up." I said holding a 'T' I made with my hands.

"Kalise...." I looked down letting out a soft chuckle. "We sent her over 10 grand in the last 2 m— not even 2 months! What the fuck does she need all this money for?!" I shouted.

"I already told you... it's not just your money anyway."

"Okay but you know we trying to save to buy a house my nigga and a brand new car so what the fuck?" I squinted my eyes at her.

She sat my plate in front of me but I ain't touching shit until she come to her senses.

"Babe calm down.. We can make it back,"

"That's not the point Kalise.."

"Just do it. Damn. You know how I am about my sister."

"I never met the bitch! So I don't know!...And we been together for 5 years? So I'm not putting 2 together."

"Brittany watch who the fuck you talking to and what you saying bout my sister." She threatened.

I but my lip wanting to punch this dumbass girl in her face.

"Cool.. I'll do it. Whatever. I ain't eating this shit." I got up pushing my plate away from me. I heard her say something slick but fuck her right now.

Ion know shit about her sister not met the bitch face to face yet we sent over ten grand.

She got me fucked up.

I went to go throw on clothes and wash up so I can leave to go get my phone.

That's when I heard loud mouth ass Ta'Lani walk through my front door.

"What's up bitches?!" She joked.

"I'll be back." I said not making eye contact with her and walking out the house.

I got in my car and drove down to Gadget guys. I got out locking my car and walked into the warm atmosphere calming my nerves a bit.

"Hello how can I he- Oh, hey. It's you." Zelle smiled at me.

Who can't feel a little butterflies with a smile like that?

I'm a fine ass bitch, so I know the accomplishment behind it.

"Yea... Zelle right?"

"Yep.." she smiled pointing at her name tag.

"Oh right duh.." I chuckled awkwardly.

There was a moment of silence between us.

It just felt weird knowing this girl was on my level of fine and I didn't know how to act normal.

For once, I can't hold a conversation.

I think I was staring too.

"Um your phone is ready if you want me to..." she pointed towards the back.

"U-Uh...y-yes! Yea... please.... thanks.." I said and she walked off giving me one last look.

She disappeared off to the back and I patiently waited.

I seen multiple stacks of business cards sitting on the counter.

I was being nosey and looked at all of them and found Zelle's card.

I picked it up and examined it. I seen her phone number on there and-

"You know if you want my number, you could've asked.." She chuckled handing me my newly fixed phone with a sticky note on there.

"Just text me after 4 when I get off." She smiled.

I grabbed my phone noticing the sticky note had the same number on it from her card.

I took it and stuck it in my pocket.

"Cool.. cool." I said standing there nodding my head.

Again. Another moment of awkward ass silence.

"Actually. How about we hit up the town center when you get off?"

"Oh yea? Ight cool just let me know where to meet you and I got you."

I nodded and made my way out the store.

I sighed knowing that I was still allowing myself to go to the bank and pull this money out.

I made my way across town to the bank we use.

I went in and found an open teller.

"Hello, how are you doing today ma'am?"

"Great, I want to pull some money out today."

She pulled up my accounts and stuff while I waited patiently.

Me and Kali share an account that we receive our youtube checks in.

"Okay how much?" She asked.

"$2,000.." I sighed feeling annoyed.

"Okay from which account?" I looked at her confused.

See I have a personal checking account with a different bank. I'm confused because we only have our joint account here."

"There should only be account associated with us both..." I said.

"No ma'am there's another account with Kalise Henderson as the primary account holder." I rubbed my eyes feeling a little discomfort in my soul.

"Okay can I know how much is in there?" I asked.

"Not without her permission I'm sorry ma'am."

"Okay well can I look at the transaction history from our joint account?"

She nodded and printed out some sheets a few minutes later.

"Here you go. It goes from the most recent from when you first opened the account." She said.

"Thanks. I still want to pull out that 2 grand while I take a look at this please."

"Of course." She went off to the back.

Now see I don't ever go to the bank to check on this account because Kalise tells me what she uses the money on when she has the card and I believe her.

Stupid I know.

I scanned over it and noticed there were transfers every other week for $1,000 into this secret account she has.

"The fuck.." I whispered seeing that she would withdraw $2,000 a few times.

That could be the money she takes out to send to her sister.

I also noticed about a month ago that there was a cashier's check for damn near $4,000 dollars made out.

The lady cane back with a duffle bag.

"Ma'am can I please please ask for you to see who this Cashier's check was made out to?"

"Yea sure this is for you. Just sign these papers while I look."

I grabbed the bag and signed the papers waiting fir her to tell me some that I can beat Kali's ass for.

"It was made out to Trinity Palms." She said.

"Trinity Palms..?"

"It's the newly built condo's downtown." She said.

"Okay thank you.." I gave her a very fake ass smile knowing I was about to piss out flames in a minute.

I left not saying another word.
