"Trinity palms, huh?" I thought to myself getting into my car.

I had about 2 hours before Zelle gets off so I had more time to track what the fuck Kali been doing with our money.

I programmed my gps to take me to Trinity Palms. It's about 10 minutes away in downtown and I'm eager to know why the fuck she paid four grand to them.

I drove over with one intention and plenty of determination and I wasn't leaving without by any means.

I found the high luxury condos and pulled in front of the leasing office.

They dont look bad at all.

I got out and walked in looking around for someone who worked here.

"Yes, How may I help you today?" A random guy said behind me.

But he had a little fruity in him. If you know what I mean.

"Yes I would to speak to someone about a recent downpayment my fiancé made an apartment we were interested in." I said.

"Of course follow me." We walked through the nicely decorated office and into a smaller office.

"Please have a seat for me and make yourself at home." He said warmly. He closed the door behind me and sat at his desk.

"Okay so do you remember which apartment layout you guys had put the down payment on?"

"A 1 bedroom 1 bath." I guessed hoping I was right.

"Under which one of your names?" He asked.

"Kalise Henderson.. I'm just making sure she out the deposit down haha." I chuckled making myself any less nervous than I already was.

"I completely understand haha, give me just a second." He said.

I sat quietly as I watched him going through a drawer with files in it.

"Ah yes, Mrs. Henderson did put down $4,000 in total last month, but you guys still owe first months rent which is $1250." He said.

"Okay was there a specific lease or anything she was wanting to sign? Because she told me nothing of it besides the amount of the downpayment."

"No but she did list that a person named....Ta'Lani Polk has authority to make payments for her if needed."

Timeout.

"Excuse me? And has she made any payments?"

"No ma'am not yet." he said closing the file.

I shook my head.

"Okay um, great thank you for your time. I'll make sure that first month's rent is in by Thursday. She gets paid then."

"Okay great! Thank you so much for stopping by."

"No thank you.." I smiled sarcastically.

Kalise got another thing coming after all this shit.

I got in my car and drove back home. I'm heated at this point.

I walk up to the door and open it with my key.

"Fuck..daddy!" I hear come from the back bed room.

I chuckle to myself throwing my keys on the coffee table and taking a seat on the sofa. I turn on the Tv and apparently Kalise nor her friend heard me come in.

A tear escaped without me even feeling it until my vision became clouded with water.

This whole time.

Five years and it all ends like this.

I sat and waited until I heard the bed door open.

Kalise had her back turned with a sheet wrapped around her body and my eyes met with someone I would never imagine.

My best fucking friend.

Of course she froze in her spot with nothing but boxers and a sports bra on.

"What's wrong baby..?" Kalise cooed as she kissed on Ta'Lani's neck.

I heard Lani swallow all of her fucking pride.

"Umm.. Ka-Kalise.." Ta'Lani stuttered as she continued to look right in my eyes.

"Wha— Shit! Baby!" Kalise turned around quickly wrapping the sheet tightly around her body.

"5...fucking years and this is what you do Kalise?" I asked feeling very angry but heartbroken.

"Baby.. oh my god It's not what it-"

"Kalise shut the fuck up!" I stood up quickly off the couch making her flinch back into Ta'Lani.

"How long?.." I asked clinching my jaw.

"Bab— Answer my got damn question Kalise!" I yelled at her.

"A few months after getting together..." She admitted.

Feeling dumbfounded, I closed my eyes feeling more tears run down my face. This whole time she's been practically living a double life with my best friend.

"So y'all been fucking this whole time? That's why you stayed over my house damn near everyday? Just to get close to my bitch Lani?!"

"Aye man chill out with that word." She growled.

"Oh now you sticking up for the bitch?" I laughed. "So that petty ass argument the other day with you not wanting her to be here? Having to make me choose between me and my best friend?" I asked Kalise.

I'm still in disbelief.

"I found out about the money and the fucking apartment..." I said lowly.

Both of theirs eyes went buck.

"Yea you two are a pair of STUPID ass bitches." I laughed to myself as I turned towards the couch.

"I'm leaving. Kalise We'll handle you moving out later. Ta'Lani bro..." I shook my head feeling dumb as fuck.

"I can treat her better anyway.." She snickered.

I shrugged my shoulders not wanting to be in the same vicinity as them.

I grabbed my keys and walked back out the door.

I slowly wales down the stairs letting the sun dry my now non existent tears.

Betrayed by the people I cared about the most.

I noticed it was now 30 minutes after 4 p.m.

I can still meet up with Zelle and chill to get my mind off this shit for right now.

I got out my phone and called her.

"Hello?" She picked up.

"Hey what's good it's Benzo." I said.

"Hey, I'm surprised you called." She chuckled.

"How so? I agrees to hang out with you haha.. can't pass up on that." I grinned to myself.

"Well I just made it home to change and stuff and to smoke real quick." She said. "You could come over and we can carpool."

"Sure thing. Just drop ya' addy." I said.

"Coo," She hung up and sent me her location.

I started the car. I didnt seen Kalise nor Lani come back out.

Probably went back to fucking.

I drove to Zelle's house and it turns out she lives in those same fucking condos that Kalise was getting.

"Wow.." I said. I called her again.

"Aye I'm here what number?" I asked.

"1184 in the second building to your right." She said.

"Ight.." I hung up and parked in front of the building.

I Had to go up a few floors before finding her condo at the very end.

I knocked waiting for her to answer.

When she did. She was standing with black basketball shorts on and a plain ole white sports bra.

I admit... Zelle has a nice ass body.

She also had a lit blunt in her mouth. She offered me a hit by holding it up to me, "Eyes looking red mama.."

I dont smoke very often like I use to, but in this moment I wanted all the shit I was feeling to go away.

I grabbed it and she moved aside letting me in.

I walked in a noticed how big and beautiful these were.

—And she's at the end, so her living room was a big ass room with windows from the floor to the ceiling.

A very beautiful view of this busy ass city.

"You like?" She asked plopping down on her couch.

"Hell yea.." I said still feeling amazed at the sight. I dragged an inhalation of the smoke from the blunt coughing as a result.

It's definitely been a minute.

"Take a seat." She patted the spot next to her on the couch.

As if I'm not dying in front of her but okay.

I finally gained my lungs back.

"How do you afford this shit by working at fucking tech shop?!" I asked sitting next to her passing her the blunt.

"Awe that job aint shit. It's a part time job for here and there. I work for an multi-million dollar company. A Computer Engineer." She said laying her head back.

We passed the blunt back and forth in silence.

I nodded my head slowly feeling the high creep up on me.

This is why I should have never fell off. I feel like a rookie to this shit.

"Aye.." She sat up.

"Hmm.." I answered lowly.

"Why were your eyes red when you got here?" She asked looking at me.

I chuckled. "I found out my best friend and Kali been fucking with each other almost the whole time of us being together." I said still feeling heartbroken.

"Oh damn... I'm sorry." She said.

"So.. What about youtube?" She asked.

"I honestly dont know. I don't even want to think about it right now." I said rubbing my face.

I put the blunt out and sat it in the ashtray on the table.

I sat back trying not to let my emotions get to me.

"Fuck them bitches to be honest with you." I said out loud.

"I did everything for them hoes and they been screwing me over.." I laughed.

"Kalise can get pussy and shit but I been holding back on cheating cause I'm a faithful one. I treated her like a queen and she treats me like shit." I laughed even louder.

"Let all that shit go ma.." Zelle said.

I sat thinking about everything. I wanted to let it all go but I did better with doing it physically.

Another reason I chilled on smoking so much...

I sat starring at Zelle knowing she wasn't even paying attention.

I never looked at a another stud in that way but I do remember in a youtube video I did with a friend of mine I said I was open to anything.

I licked my lips facing straight ahead with my hands on my thighs. The need to fuck will go away soon. I just met this girl and I don't need to mess with someone I barely know.

She may not even like me.

"Hey can you show me where the bathroom is?" I asked slowly.

"First door to the left." She said.

She got up going to the kitchen and I walked to the restroom.

As much as I need to get off it'll only take a few minutes right?

I can't make this shit obvious.

I found the door and opened it.

...But it wasn't the restroom.

"Shit wrong door.." I turned around clashing into Zelle.

"Shit you scared me!" I said backing up.

"I said the left," she pointed to the other side of the hallway. "Someone needs to go back to school." She laughed.

"Shut up.." I said.

I attempted to move past her but she stuck her arm in front of me making me step back into the room which was actually her bedroom.

"Umm.." I said feeling a little weird.

I never mentioned, but she stands at a good 6'2 while my short ass stood at a mere 5'4.

Not fucking fair.

I swallowed my words when she moved towards the side of my face.

"I'm gonna fuck your life up..."
