2. You Work HERE?! {Revised}
'Oh no
Oh nonono-
What do I wear?
How do I act?
Ahghg!! IM AN IDIOT!
Stupid Izuku!!! Stupid stupid stupid! How in the world did I not realize sooner that I was talk to the Eraserhead! The under ground hero with a stern yet admirable presence... Maybe, if I'm lucky, I can get him to autograph my journal if I ask nicely.
No he wouldn't do that, after all, he is Eraserhead and I doubt that he would bother signing anything from a fanboy like me...
but perhaps-
No, what the hell am I thinking?! THIS IS BAD! What if I mess up drastically somehow? What if I spill coffee over him? What if I anger him?! What if he hates me?!? I would never forgive myself if one of the best stealth heros disliked me!! Oh god..WHAT IF-'
"Izuku? Dear?" His mother's concerned voice called out to the teen. One glance at his figure was enough to tell her that he was in panic mode.
"You're mumbling again Hun..." When silence once again came as a response, Inko softly placed the ingredients that she planned to cook for breakfast back down onto the counter. Izuku heard soft footsteps approaching his anxious frame and slowly lifted his curly head to meet his mother's worried green eyes.
This morning, Izuku finally found the time to search up the name 'Shota Aizawa'. It sounded very familiar to him for some reason, and had been bugging him all night. He wondered if perhaps he's read an article about him before, or if he was recently on the news. There was just no telling nowadays.
But you could only imagine the pure bewilderment that overcame Izuku when he was taken to a website describing non other then the Pro Hero, Eraserhead himself.
Ever since discovering this fact a few short minutes ago, he has been on the verge of a full blow panic attack! Even thinking about how HE perceived Eraserhead to be a sleep deprived homeless man taking residency on a park bench makes him want to die of embarrassement.
Inko sat down slowly beside Izuku in preparation for the talk they where about it have. "I know what you're thinking dear, but I can assure you that everything is going to be perfectly fine. You've worked before, so why should this be any different?"
"This is going to be completely diffrent from my other job mom! I'm going to be making coffee for Eraserhead!" He almost screeched, throwing his hands into his un kempt hair."The most I've ever done is working as a part time barista on the weekends! And I only did that for two months before the store was bought out and switched owners. I could mess up really really bad, and if I did I would be so disappointed in myself.
And you probably would be too... " his voice wavered slightly. "I wish I would have asked for his phone number so I can call this whole thing off... I don't want to get his hopes up about a nobody like me"
Inko felt her heart crack at those words. She indeed was immensely shocked by this new information, but her duty as a supportive mother came before any of her thoughts and feelings.
"Izuku..." Inko calmly grabbed one of the hands tugging at his hair, and gently laced her fingers with his before giving it a comforting squeeze.
"As hard as it is to digest at this moment, from what you told me earlier, he asked for you. It's not like you hunted him down and begged him for this opportunity at a job, right?"
"I guess so... But-"
"No buts! Hunny, you need to stop doubting a putting yourself down" Inko demanded. "I have and always will be proud of you. No matter what you may do, say, or think, you will always be the light of my life that keeps me going." She smiled lovingly and brushed back one of his rouge curls behind his freckled ear.
"Believe in yourself more sweetie. This is something you should deffinatly try for the sake of, well, just trying something new! It's such a rare opportunity to be gifted and you won't get another chance like this if you back out now. And I know for a fact, that you'll end up regretting that decision for the rest of your life if you allow this to pass without taking action."
He gave a thoughtful look in regard of what she had to say, and a look akin to guilt flushed over his face. She was right after all. How many times does a simple citizen get offer a job by a pro? Granted it had Izuku thinking of what environment he was to be working in, due to the fact that this was a pro hero.
Even so, all of that would be revealed in time.
"You'd finally get to fulfill your dream!" Inko states with shimmering eyes at her son. " You may not be fighting villains, thank god, but you'll be working under a hero"
Izuku chuckled nervously. He knew that Inko never liked the idea of her son out in the world fighting dangerous criminals. Of course she wanted to support his dreams, but a mother naturally wants to shield her child from the world's horrors.
Still, she did have a point, Izuku admitted. It has been a dream of his for years! Meeting a hero personally, talking to them, hell, even getting interned by them.
To think that at least a few if those wishes where just withing his grasp..
"Yeah mom, you're right... I should do this" He stated and stood up, trying to steel his resolve. "I shouldn't be ungrateful and allow this chance to pass. I promise to make you proud and to try my hardest-
Oh crap is that the time??"
The small woman giggled to herself as she watched the 15 year old run upstairs and down the hallway twords his room.
Inko sighed tiredly and leaned into the soft plush couch behind her. She allowed her gaze to drift around the small living room she has notably worked so hard to maintain. Amidst her gazing, an old picture that propped up on the small coffee table beside the couch, caught her eye. After staring at it in contemplation for a few seconds, Inko reached over to grab the picture frame.
She stared at it for a good while, allowing herself to bask in her thoughts and feelings as she ran her small delicate hands over the surface, tracing the outer edge.
"Oh Izuku..." She whispered, staring at the smiling face that comes with childhood innocence. "How much you've grown" Inko mumbled, shifting to lay on her side. "Even after all thats happened to us... you still find ways to surprise me everyday"
"My sweet sweet baby" She tightly embraced the picture frame, as if she were holding onto the most important and valuable thing in the world.
"I could never ever be disappointed in you.."

"I don't want to dress exceedingly formal, but wearing anything too casual might come off as offensive..."
Hm, it's been getting colder out as of late. Perhaps I could show up in an nice sweater? Yeah, that should do the trick. They naturally look nice and can be considered professional in some cases.
I carefully skimmed through my vast collect of sweaters and hoodies, considering they are the only thing I tend to wear, my closet is stuffed full of them.
I hummed in approval when I spotted the perfect one and grabbed the warm looking pastel brown sweater from it's hanger. I shrugged it on hastily and ran to the bathroom to follow my morning routine of brushing my teeth, combing my hair, and doing the essentials.
It doesn't take long for me to finish getting ready for the day, and shortly after finishing, I find myself faced with my loud hungry stomach.
Mom was in charge of breakfast this morning, and the moment I approached my cracked bedroom door, I could very much smell the mouth watering scent of breakfast food.
Before I knew it, my legs bolted for the door and ran down the stairs straight into the kitchen. Mom had prepared some devilishly perfect looking scrambled eggs with toast smothered with a smear of butter on top.
I with held the urge to do a small happy dance and just smiled thankfully at my mom who was scrubbing the dishes.
"Thank you for the food!" I say, clasping my hands together. The toast looked godly, housing a nice crisp of golden brown along with bits of butter soaked into the bread. This gave it a delectable yellow color that had me melting apon the first bite.
Why was food so fucking good?
In the midst of admiring this amazing slice of toast, I noticed my mom pulling out a plastic container and walking over to the table to reveal...
I faced my mother and swallowed in surprise. "You bought dango?" I asked in excitement. She laughed at my expression and nodded in response "I figured you could use the treat. After all, my baby is going to be out working like a real adult! You're growing up so fast, so I can't be wrong with wanting to spoil my favorite child every once and awhile. I know I know, I'm the best" she gloated playfully, mirth coating her features .
"Well, what are you waiting for? Eat up dear, I didn't buy it just to be stared at" My mother chided once more as I stifled my remaining laughter. I agreed whole hesrtedly with her sentiment,
and promptly began shoveling food into my mouth.

"Bye Izuku! Be safe, don't do anything I wouldn't do!"
I waved in response to my mother, who was leaning out of the door way shouting farewells. Although, she did however end up closing the door after being unexpectedly blasted in the face with a chilly gust of wind once I had traveled some distance.
I chuckle lightly at this and dug around in my pocket for my earbuds, and plugged them in my ears.
UA is about a 20 minute brisk walk from my house, so I feel as if I should arrive at a reasonable time. Just to double check, I looked at my phone while I shouldered the small pack onto my back to a more comfortable position.
7:32am
If nothing bad happens, I should arrive in just enough time. Content with this, I open a my downloads and shuffled the music on my phone. I tend to find that happy/upbeat music gets me into a good and productive mood. Not to mention helps lower my anxiety when I'm a bit jittery.
I began subconsciously humming to the music as I thought of what I would tasked with doing if I take the job.
Well, I know that providing coffee is a given. The man himself even stated thats the whole reason I appealed to him in the first place.
Hm... he told me that we'd meet up at the U.A. gates... I wonder if he's working close by on a job. I admit that I stopped following his work activity a few years back, right around the start of middle school I believe. There was alot going on at the time and I just never got back into it. Of course this also applied to many other heros I used to constantly monitor.
But how exciting would it be if I became his side kick or something unexpected like that?!
Hah, now I'm being unreasonable, imagine that.
I silently giggled to myself and kept walking down the gray sidewalk. The sky was crystal clear and the sun bright. A perfect day for a morning walk if I do say so myself.
With such a peaceful atmosphere, my mind very shortly fell into a hypnotized like state, enticed by the rhythm of my foot steps and vibe worthy music. And before I knew it, I had arrived at the gates of U.A. Academy.
And all I have to say...
Is that this place was HUGE! Hundreds of students were walking through the gates and onto the property. I mean I've seen U.A. before, but being able to see it this close in person? The sight is breath taking.
To think, this is the school I wanted to attend in my early youth. I smiled fondly at my old dreams. Such goals sadden me now to be honest, but it's for the best that I dreamt realistically from now on.
While I was busy admiring the building and being consumed by my thoughts, I almost didn't realize my potential new boss approaching until he was directly infront of my gwaking face.
"I see you've managed to make it to the front gate" Aizawa spoke in the most tired and unmotivated voice I've heard in my life. I didn't know it was possible for him to sound even more done with life than last time.
I nodded curtly towards him. "It's an honor to be here sir!" I spoke politely, bowing in greeting. I quickly raised my head and squinted my eyes closed, bracing for my apology.
"I-I just wanted to apologize for yesterday! I had no idea you where a hero at the time and I just want to exclaim how terribly sorry I am for thinking that you were an expo marker looking homeless person!"
To say that this man was baffled was an understatement. Yet, he quickly composed himself with a sigh. "You thought I was a- " he calmly rubbed the side of his template and inhaled deeply.
"Look, I don't care about what you thought about me yesterday. Weither I'm a hero or not has nothing to do with how you should treat me. That includes this moment and onwards if you choose to accept the terms concerning your job."
"Not saying that I don't want to be treated with respect, but I'm just a normal person too." He told me, realizing very quickly that I was probably a fanboy of the sorts.
I shoved down my embarrassed blush and nodded in acknowledgement towards him. "Yes sir, sorry sir. I'll try to keep that in mind"
"I guess that'll do for now"
Aizawa shrugged and tossed me a U.A. school colored lanyard with a card attached to it. Printed across the card, was my identity and name in bold, and directly under that in big letters laid the word 'GUEST'.
"That's the best I could get on short notice" the hero yawned, clearly dismissing my curious expression as I examined the card.
"What's this for?"
"It gives you authorized access to enter the school" his blunt voice replied. "How are you expected to work under me if you can't enter the building?"
"Wait a minute you.." I widened my eyes "You can't possibly mean that you-"
"Mhm"
My mouth fell open in absolute shock.
"You mean to tell me that.. that... you work HERE?!"
