"huh?" Shayla looked up in the tree's, there was a figure sitting on the branches looking down at her.

"I asked you, who wants to know?" The person repeated swinging his legs back and forth.

"who are you?" Shayla asked ignoring his question.

"I asked you first, so you have to answer first"

"well I 'm Shayla, Shayla Jack. so who are you?" She asked folding her arms.

"wow... that was so dead and formal, the names Luke" The boy laughed at her and she glared back at him.

"don't laugh at me! It's not my fault that my family makes me address myself that way" She looked down at her tennis shoes.

"your family makes you talk like that?!" Luke was suddenly interested in what Shayla had to say.

"yes, my father says that it'll be useful when I'm older" Shayla shrugged and Luke got down from where he had been sitting.

"Well, um ok? so what is that?" Luke asked pointing at her dolly.

"oh! This is yui! She's my bestest friend" Shayla held out the doll with the biggest grin on her face.

"Oh... Well um... Hi dolly" he replied trying not to laugh. 

"No, her name is Yui! Not dolly, you can call her yu if you want, that's her nickname" Shayla told him hugging her doll tightly. 

"Oh... Well hey yu... I'm uh, Luke," he said scratching his brown blob of hair.
"Hi Luke!" She said making the doll talk.
"So Shayla right, what if... You come hang with me everyday here and I'll show you how to talk like a normal kid and we can play." He said taking his hand out. 

"Hmm... How old are you?"she asked him. 

"I am eight, why?" He asked. 

"Okay! I can play with you, my aunts told me that I should never hang out with anyone above twelve until i turn that age cause someone might kidnap me" she informed him. 

"Why would someone wanna kidnap you?" He asked her. 

"because, I'm Shayla Black," Shayla told him.

"so?"

"So?! I'm the daughter of a billionare" Shay whispered to him.

"So don't tell anyone" Luke said slowly.

"okay... so, would you like to come to my home for dinner?" She asked him.

"oh... well sure" Luke said as Shayla started to walk away.

"okay! follow me! I'll introduce you to my family as well!" 

"is that a good idea?" Luke asked Shay as she walked away.

"yeah!" Shay said smiling.
