"Saathra ghantey! 17 bloody hours and you tell me ki bhai is not responding to your treatment and you have nothing in your hand. Bullshit! You are a doctor for god sake! Bhagvaan ka darja deete hey loog aapko. And what do you mean by you tried your best? If you would have given your best he would have been fine by now."
Shouted an enraged parth.

"Am sorry Mr. Shekawath, I understand your state. But am helpless, he is sinking. He needs to wake up for the treatment to be more effective. It is almost like a coma-stic stage.I hope you understand." Said the doctor with a sad smile.

Parth had never felt so helpless in his life. His fear of losing his only family was haunting him. He didn't want to be left alone again.

Vidushi gasped seeing his state. She had never seen his this side. It almost looked like another 'RSS' at the moment.

"You just proved you are your brother's brother." she quipped thoughtfully while parth had a confused face on.

"What?" He asked being back to his old self.

"Sahi tho kaha rahi hun. Dekho tum bhi tho thode time pehle doctor ko jhaad rahey theey ,scary young man ki tarah. "

Parth sighed at her ways to make him smile. He chuckled recalling her words and his description as a scary young man. But again the state of his brother crowded his mind,bringing him to reality. 

"Sanyukta kahan hey ?" He asked feeling tired.

"Vo .. vaha" 👉

Sanyukta was standing there, outside the ICU looking at randhir through the glass door.

She had not once stepped inside the room, it has been 17 hours already and randhir has not yet opened his eyes.

Her eyes were glossy. She was lost in own her thoughts recapping the happenings in her mind.

Sanyukta's POV

Someone wants to kill him. But why! He would never harm a soul. There is a glitch!but what can it be.

Right now,all i want is for him to wake up. Parth is worried. We all are. I never thought my dream would come true like this.

Suddenly i noticed his breathing becoming raged. He was having difficulty in breathing. There was no one in the care unit. I froze. I called for the nurse and told her to call the doctor before rushing to the ICU.

Sanyukta rushed inside the ICU ,taking his palms in hers she caressed his forhead and turned to the machines to find the problem.She gasped when she saw the ventilleter off. Sanyukta quickly switched it on and held has palm saying soothing words, and the doctor walked in.

He checked randhir who was wide awake. He smiled at him,and turned to Sanyukta.

"What happened here?"

"He was not able to breathe properly. I was standing outside and when I noticed he was alone, I got inside and saw the ventilleter was switched off. I switched it on before you came in."

"What? Sanyukta are you sure it was off?"

"Yes"

"Did you see anyone come here? "

"No,no one other than the ward boy who entered to do his dressing."

"Ward boy?But I didn't send any ward boy." Said the doctor shocked.

"This .. this means it was an  attack!" Sanyukta said stuttering.

"Oh my god!" They gasped in realization.

Parth and vidushi waited for the doctor to walk out. Minutes later the doctor walked out and the duo rushed to him.

"Doctor..bhai?" Parth asked with hope brimming in his eyes.

"He is out of Danger now" Dr said patting his back while parth hugged him out of happiness with a full blown smile.

"Thank you Thank you Thank you " he jumped like a child who got his favourite candy.

"Don't thank me,thank Sanyukta. If she wasn't there at that time,we would have lost him by now."

"What do you mean doctor? " Asked a confused parth,while the doctor reaveled the news of the attack.

Yes it was an attack,a very well planned by alas Sanyukta's alert mind was able to tackle it.

ICU

Randhir had gained his consciousness. He was in his senses when he heard the conversation between the doctor and Sanyukta. He was  thankfull to her for saving his life. 

"Thank you god for sending this angel " he thought before slipping into deep slumber.
