Fury
"He'll be here in a few moments," I told the avengers spread across the room. "So be nice."
"Fury, it says here he's twenty." Rogers input, looking up from Agent Jackson's file.
Was there supposed to be a question after that or was he just stating a fact. "Get on with it." I demanded.
"How is he an agent of such high level?" Agent Romanoff continued for the man.
"Agent Jackson is a very well trained man with amazing skill. He is one of my best, dare I say maybe my best agent." I answered truthfully.
"Aww, didn't know you cared so much about me Nicky." The annoyingly familiar voice sounded.
Everyone's head whipped towards the source. There in the corner of the room, leaning against the doorway with his uninjured shoulder stood the Agent. He wore the usual SHIELD attire, combat boots, black tight fitting pants and shirt, gun holsters with the additional knife and sword sheath for his weapon preference.
The agent looked completely healed up. I could see the way his eyes darted around the room looking for exits and threat possibilities. His posture shifted to wary, but still relaxed. I knew he was observing everyone in the room, including me for weaknesses and strengths. The young man was completely the same as earlier, with the exception of the alien object latched onto his finger.
"Agent Jackson," I acknowledged, "I trust you will keep the stone safe and learn for its future."
He nodded swiftly.
"Then I will take my leave. Please don't destroy anything Agent." I half pleaded, who knows what'll happen if he gets agitated.

"So, when did you start working with SHIELD?" Stark asked overly eager.
I crossed my arms and put more of my weight on the door frame. I stared at him, he had light circles under his eyes and that look in his eyes that means he's had a rough night. I sensed a cold sweat on his body and his hair looked like he rolled out of bed.
If he wanted a distraction from his thoughts, I'd be happy to help because gods know I need it as well. I realized I still hadn't answered yet and an awkward silence had taken over the room as I assessed Iron man.
"A little after I turned seventeen." I answered, startling them a bit.
"Before we start interrogating you, how about we sit down and have some refreshments and a snack." Steve Rogers suggested.
I shrugged, I couldn't care less, but if that made them all more comfortable then might as well. I silently studied the rest of the team while we startled settling down. Captain America, he looked fine, but I could see through his mask. He, as well as Stark had a rough night with the light bags that shadowed his eyes.
His knuckles were dry, probably because of the powder that people put on their hands before using punching bags. He looked freshly showered, and a bit wary of my presence. He was a soldier, so that's to be expected.
Banner was a bit pale as he grabbed a plate for food. I noticed he didn't interact with many people, the exceptions: Agent Romanoff and Stark. He as well was plagued with nightmares, the cold sweat on his body was enough proof of that, not given the extra color under his eyes.
The Black Widow was like a flea, moving swiftly around the others without making it obvious she was there and then not. She looked fine, except for the slight paleness of her skin. As the only woman in this complex, I suspected she didn't get along as well as one man to another did, but she faired well.
Her partner, Barton was like the obnoxious smart alec in the room. Commenting on nothing to everything. He looked carefree, but had a guarded look in his eyes. He was kind of protective, watching me every once in awhile while chatting with the others to grab some refreshments.
Thor was talking enthusiastically with everyone. He was very loud, but I could sense his wariness of me as he walked to and fro. He had headed straight to the pop tarts and constantly compared his Asguardian ways to the Midgard ones.
Then there was Loki, he looked at me with this curious glint in his eyes. He walked through the team as if he were a shadow. I noticed the wariness the others held for him, not fully trusting him, but still holding him close. He had these bags under his eyes from more than enough nightmares, but had this tongue that kept other from seeing him.
Everyone I could tell had some sense of love and care for the other, some more stronger than others, but overall they didn't seem to be near me without one other whoever it was. I was the new person who is a highly trained agent, so dangerous to any of them.
They all had problems, some they shared with each other, the others they kept under mask. They were all too busy keeping their problems from each other that they didn't notice the problems of the ones they were keeping their own from. They didn't know me, but I knew the surface part of them.
The deeper level to all of them, that was the part only a family member or loved one, or maybe even a best friend would know. Right now, I was content with the things I knew about them. I knew who would fight together if it came down to it and how to take them down if needed.
"Do you want anything?" A voice asked from next to me.
Instead of jumping like I would've a couple years ago, I just turned my head to look at them calmly. It was Stark, I realized I've just been standing at the doorway of the kitchen watching them scurry about without saying anything.
"A water would be nice, thank you." I replied simply.
"Sure thing agent." He answered happily.
A few moments later he was back with a closed water bottle in hand. I nodded in gratitude and accepted it. I opened it, but before drinking, I quickly purified all the water in the bottle, making sure it was safe to use. Once I made sure it was fine, I took a sip.
"So now that everyone has something to quench their hunger or thirst, shall we take this to the living room?" Stark asked.
Not waiting for an answer, he headed to another room. I waited until everyone showed initiative of following Stark before pushing off the door frame I was leaning on and making my way across the room to the one everyone else was exiting through.
I grabbed a green apple as I passed the counter and took a bite out of it after quickly asserting the danger of poison. They all settled into their normal seating I assumed, so I was left to pick a seat.
I carefully assessed all open seats and their advantages and disadvantages. Slowly I walked over to the two seating couch, otherwise known as a love seat couch and sat next to Loki.
"We should introduce ourselves," Stark suggested even though I knew he read my file and he knew I read theirs, "I'll start, I'm Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, and the amazing genius that created what you're now living in."
It was impressive, but not to what I've seen before. I turned my attention away, waiting for someone else to talk.
"I'm Steve Rogers, other wise known as Captain America." Steve said, "Nice to meet you."
I didn't answer him, but I didn't turn away rudely.
"Bruce Banner, Hulk." Quickly and softly Banner said.
"Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow." She introduced herself in the same manner as Banner.
"Clint Barton, I'm also known as Hawkeye." Barton announced.
"Thor Odison, it's a pleasure to meet the great Percy Jackson! You have changed since I last war, but I shall hope we make good friends." Thor bellowed loudly, making me frown and smile internally.
"Loki, it will be interesting having another mortal around. I would like to see how this turns out." Loki drawled out.
That was an odd introduction, but I guess he didn't want to take the family name either. It's probably time to introduce myself now, even though we all know each other.
"Agent Perseus Jackson, people call me, The Eye."
Tell me what you think...
