Clint

As soon as those words left Agent Jackson's mouth, all the deities froze. All the chaos stopped. The noise went silent. Every god and goddess's eyes were trained on the now unconscious young man. I was confused. I looked at the rest of the team and they seemed as baffled as me.

"Did he just say...?" Questioned one god, the one that held a stick with snakes wrapped around It.

"He did." Breathed another god whose teeth were whiter than normal.

"Stop standing around like baboons and heal him, Apollo." The woman in all silver barked.

"On it, sis!" The one with white teeth snapped.

The woman sneered at him in response, but glanced concerned and confused at Agent Jackson. A lot of murmurs were happening and whispering as well between the powerful beings.

I payed them no attention and wandered over to my partner. She was staring stone faced at the god who was working on Agent Jackson's health. Based on Natasha emotions she was worried about the patient.

I stood next to her sharing some of that emotion. After all, I've only known him a couple days, but going through what he went through? Lots of sympathy and respect. A voice behind me thrust me out of my thoughts, startling me with the intensity of the emotion behind it.

"What did you do?"

The council glanced back and forth between themselves clearly unsettled with the question. The god in the middle glared at us after awhile, the rod in his hand cackling with electricity.

"It's not of your concern, norse." He growled.

Natasha spoke up, defending the lightning god, "It is our concern if it involves someone, who's working with us, mentally distracted."

The goddess who lead us here glared fiercely at Natasha who glared back steely. Eventually Natasha lost the contest of not blinking, but she still held her ground.

"The boy is stable enough to work with you and your little team. The event he spoke about was awhile ago and he has long since gotten over it." Athena's voice had a sharp edge to it and a tone that made it seem like she was right.

The god working on Agent Jackson twitched as she said that, but continued like nothing happened so I feel like I imagined it.

"If you wish to know, you must ask my son." Agent Jackson's father said with finality in his command,"Otherwise, don't bother him. He's already been through so much. Don't need you to add on unneeded stress."

Just as Tony opened his mouth to protest, the ground shook dangerously. All heads focused on the sea god who sat calmly in his throne with a tight grip on his trident. The power emanating from him said that he was not an enemy you would want.

His expression spoke the unsaid threat that certainly wasn't an empty one. His stance was ready to strike and very protective. With his eyes flickering back to his son, whom I presume he's being protective of right now.

"Dad," A voice interrupted,"Its fine."

Percy

"Percy?" Apollo's voice broke through my mind,"Percy? Can you hear me?"

"Mm... tired." I grumbled.

"I know, I know," Apollo apologized,"This will only take a moment."

Groggily, I opened my eyes and looked around. Lots of different things happening. The avengers looked confused while groups of gods and goddesses conversed amiably.

"Did you mean what you said?" Apollo asked seriously, drawing my attention.

"That I forgive you?"

Apollo nodded. I stared at him for a second, reading him. He seems calm, but his hands were sweating, and his skin was a little paler from the energy of healing me. Which I was thankful of, I felt so much better. Just a little sore.

"Yes, I did." I answered him quietly.

"Why?" He whispered, looking down.

I shrugged. I really don't know. We both sat there awkwardly. I still only had those shorts Loki pulled onto me earlier, otherwise I had nothing. I was still covered in dirt and grime, but I was no longer injured. My skin and hair was still damp from that awful swim, but it wasn't red anymore.

I was perfectly fine. No broken bones, no dislocations, no burns or scratches. I don't even think I had any additional scars. My foot was in the shape of a foot, looking perfectly normal. I grinned at the sun god surprising him.

"Thanks for healing me." I added gratefully.

Apollo flashed me a blinding smile,"Of course, little cousin. It's my job, but I couldn't heal you all the way."

I frowned,"What do you mean?"

"Your foot," Apollo scowled,"It was crushed to an extreme point. I was barely able to craft it back into its original form."

"And?" I asked, fearing the worst.

The god glanced at me,"You'll be able to use it like you used to, but it'll always give out on you after short period of time. Say you were standing still, you're foot would drop your weight and make you collapse after less than ten seconds. You just can't put too much weight or pressure on it."

I bit my lip,"So I'd have trouble driving or climbing stairs, that sort of thing. Like walking and running, even standing?"

The god frowned with me,"Yes, it'll get better though. Once you build muscle and strength back into it, running and walking will be the same. Stairs and driving as well, but long periods of pressure or weight will always effect it, no matter how much strength you build into it."

I nodded. That sucks, but at least it isn't amputated. I sat up, much to Apollo's protest. I sighed happily, I could feel my hips in their regular position. My legs not broken. It felt good.

"Perce?" The god of music interrupted my happy moment,"What happened to your hips? They were separated by a tremendous force—"

I glared at him darkly,"Don't remind me. Torture hurts, and that particular torture was something not even the worst deserve."

Apollo paled, sensing the truth in my words. He decided no to question me further and went back to making sure the rest of my body was in tip top shape.

My fathers voice brought me back into the throne room. I scowled at the avengers attempting to dissect my life and the bad experiences in it. I nearly sneered at Athena's little comment on my mentality state.

I saw Apollo twitch while observing the rest of my body. He detected the lie too, I scoffed, long since gotten over it. I rolled my eyes, heartless, though she probably hurt on the inside by saying that. Then my eyes landed on the Norse gods.

Thor was clearly upset, but he seemed to be holding back. Probably due to his brother who had a hand on his shoulder, eyeing the council warily. Watching the two, more importantly, my savior from hell, I found myself speaking without meaning to.

"Dad," I blurted out, watching the vibrant green eyes narrow in on me concerned,"It's fine."

Tell me what you think...
