Despite the situation, I couldn't help but chuckle. The Hulk inside joined in my humorous actions. I didn't know why we were all standing about when we should have been charging into the room to support the agent. When I glanced around curiously, my question was answered.

Ice had formed around the feet of all of them. Including mine, I felt the Hulk anger rise, and I let it run free, but I didn't let him out. The ice broke under our rage, and Thor's eyes flashed dangerously as he glared down at his feet.

Looking to my left, Loki seemed panicked as he shook uncontrollably. A blue hue spread across his skin and his eyes glowed red. As if the agent knew, the ice shied away and the tenseness in Loki's shoulders left.

Suddenly, as I looked up, a crash sounded. Glass from the mirror flew everywhere as Agent Jackson's body flew through it. The agent kept rolling until he stopped on his stomach.

Agent Jackson turned and glared at the opening. Thrusting his right arm forward, a stream of steamy water made its way towards Tartarus. He quickly sidestepped, unluckily for Agent Riles, it hit him. The man screamed as boiling water hit him so hard, he flew out of the tower.

"Whoops." Agent Jackson mumbled.

Tartarus sped through the opening, grinning savagely as he kicked Agent Jackson into the opposite wall. Without a word, he disappeared from where he was. With wide eyes, I watched as the team, and our director flew in various directions as Tartarus ran them through at speeds unimaginable.

Next thing I knew, I was hit with the speed of a freight train and thrown back into the interrogation room. The other guy roared furious. I breathed deeply and kept my head in my hands, trying to calm myself down.

It wasn't working, I was shaking furiously. Distinctly I could hear orders from Steve being shouted and sounds of battle with the primordial. A hand on my shoulder startled me. I turned and snarled, the other guy coming out. It was Agent Jackson, he had no expression on his face, but his lips were in a thin line.

"Relax, Dr. Banner. Rather than let the anger roll through you, balance it with some other emotion."

I growled at him, my mind jumbled. My clothes started to tighten, I was changing. Bangs and booms from the others room kept distracting me. The Agent's grip on my shoulder tightened. I turned on him, warning him with a glare. He merely raised an eyebrow.

Angrily, I connected our eyes, ready to scare him, but instantly I was brought into an ocean of emotion. I felt myself losing my anger, and becoming curious as his eyes went deeper into his being than I ever went into mine.

The tables turned, and I found myself thinking of my happiest moments in life, the calming times, and the times when relief was the only thing going through my being. I continued sinking in the waters and I felt like I was actually on the beach watching the waves. My breathing evened out, and I closed my eyes, content.

When I opened them, Agent Jackson was still there with his hand on my shoulder. I turned towards him and grasped his forearm in gratitude. Just as I opened my mouth to say my thanks, his arm was ripped from my fingertips.

I watched in slow motion as the Agent's head was yanked backwards and his body following it. The primordial swung Agent Jackson like a sledge hammer, slamming him into the wall that previously held the one way mirror. A cry of pain erupted from his mouth, and his body slumped.

My mind went blank. Instantly, my body transformed. One second I was "puny Banner," the next, I was the giant green monster everyone feared. My only thought? Protect Agent Jackson.

I struggled under the rubble of which I was thrown into. I coughed as dust invaded my lungs. When I finally reached the surface, what I saw made my skin pale. There was Tartarus zooming around the Hulk, landing hits everywhere. Tony was flying around trying to help, and not hit the Hulk on accident.

Agent Jackson lay in between the interrogation room and the room where we watched the interrogation happen. Tony was smacked right out of the air and he made a new hole in his tower, entering the outside. The Hulk's roar shook the building as he got further enraged. A groan to my right grabbed my attention, Natasha.

Quickly, I emerged from my rubble and ran to help her. Once she was standing we both turned and regarded the situation. The scream of the Hulk sounded, we both looked in time to see Tartarus step aside so fast that Thor's hammer flew past him and into the Hulk.

Luckily for us, Captain America's aim was true, and as the primordial dodged the magic hammer, it couldn't duck in time to avoid the star spangled shield. It hit him square in the chest, and rings from the Director's gun went off as Tartarus was shot in the leg several times. He snarled and waved his hand blasting us all away from him.

On his wrist, the yellow gem glowed. I took a step back, and drew from my quiver. Natasha's guns were already out. I could feel as the team held their breath waiting for something to happen. Then a scream sounded, but it came from Agent Jackson.

My vision tunneled on him. His forehead was touching the ground, and his knees were to his chest. Both hands over his temples, his fingers stretched over his head. His eyes were squeezed tightly.

"Get out." He breathed.

A cry from Loki drew Tartarus attention. The Norse god charged the primordial with his scepter in hand. Unintentionally, I shivered at its presence. Loki ran forward at full speed. I drew my arrow, getting ready to use it.

Agent Jackson's voice sounded agin, just a little louder, "Get out."

The clang of weapons sounded. Tartarus had created a sword from who knows what. The two stood, stuck as they tried to overcome each other's strength. Quickly, I fired my arrow at Tartarus, midsection.

"Annabeth," Agent Jackson's voice cried.

The purple gem glowed. Before the arrow made contact, he vanished. Loki barely had a second to dodge my arrow. He scowled at me, I rolled my eyes. Tartarus reappeared next to Agent Jackson who was withering on the ground. His breathing harsh, his back arched and he screamed.

"Stop!"

Natasha's guns went off. Tartarus was gone, Agent Jackson and him now on the other side of the room. Suddenly, the wall collapsed as Tony crashed into Tartarus, side. A blast of light later, the primordial was smoking on his side.

Steve took advantage and jumped on him. He started slamming his shield into Tartarus head, however he was soon kicked off and sent flying into the wall. The Director had taken that time to load another gun and added a round of shots into the smoking primordial.

A roar from the Hulk, and then Tartarus was being tossed around like a rag doll. In my peripheral vision, I saw the smirk of Loki. Smug bastard, but I guessed he had a right. I approached the crushed primordial with the rest of the team at my heels.

As I pointed my bow at the crater, a blast ensued. We all fell back, there stood Tartarus without a scratch on him. I stared at him in shock. A weird sound erupted from his mouth, and a second later I realized he was laughing.

"Good try, Avengers, but I am Tartarus. You never—" He was cut off by Agent Jackson's scream.

"GET OUT!"

The ground started shaking furiously. The wind picked up ferociously. Outside, I could see rain pelting the ground and I heard thunder boom. Lighting flashed so brightly, my vision went out of focus for a second.

When I blinked, Agent Jackson was standing once again. Lighting flashed again, and thunder accompanied it. When the light cleared, Tartarus was being choked by the Agent. The lights went out once more and the thunder sounded again.

When the color returned, Tartarus was on the ground and the Gauntlet was broken with the gems sitting on the floor next to it. I was expecting it, but it still caught me by surprise when thunder boomed and lighting flashed another time.

I sighed annoyed, could he be any more dramatic? When my vision cleared, the Gauntlet was on Agent Jackson's wrist fixed by ice, and the two gems placed in the underside of the left wrist with Soul gem glowing on his finger.

The storm instantly left, and unexpectedly, the tower began to fix itself. I suspected the Greeks had something to do with it when I saw an Owl and golden deer flutter around. Carefully I approached the two powerful beings.

The Agent's vibrant eyes were calmly staring down the primordial in silent anger. Tartarus in a choke hold by the demigod, without any gems in his possession. He didn't look scared though, which confused me even more when the whole team had their weapons trained on him.

"Didn't know a switch of reality would get you so moody." Tartarus grinned maliciously before vanishing beneath the Agent who stared calmly into the crater which previously held the primordial.

"No, you just pissed me off..."

Tell me what you think...
