Loki
When Perseus turned towards us, his face was blank. His eyes that were usually filled with emotion were empty. I frowned, and walked over to him, putting my hand on his shoulder.
He didn't even flinch. I shook him a bit to try and clear his head. Without even blinking, a wall of ice pushed me away from him. His head swiveled to face the Hulk who stood there panting in anger. Putting one hand out towards the beast, he gestured for it to come closer.
"Bruce," Perseus whispered "Come."
Surprisingly, the Hulk complied. I assume he was curious to what the little demigod wanted. As soon was the Hulk was within reaching distance, they both disappeared into vapor.
Everyone reacted differently. Agent Barton and Agent Natasha stumbled back, expecting to hear a roar of anger some distance away. Director Fury was just standing with his arms crossed, no care in the world.
Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were arguing about something, and the others started to get involved. The nerve of mortals, and my brother was just standing there, staring dumbly in the spot the two disappeared.
I rolled my eyes and worked on locating the two dangerous beings. To my surprise I found them in Alaska. Without another word, I transported myself to their location. When I arrived, I was standing on a glacier aways from the two.
The Hulk was rampaging around the isolated ice, breaking anything he could. While the half-blood stood to the side unfazed by mass destruction happening.
"I know you're there, Loki" Perseus voice rang out.
I started, the man hadn't even turned around. Then I saw the glowing band around his finger, and the water pushed my piece of ice closer to theirs. Well, I couldn't pretend I wasn't there anymore. I stepped onto his block of ice and stood next to him.
"Why are you two out here?" I questioned him.
"I'm letting him blow off his anger." He replied curtly.
I frowned even more,"How will that help. Hulk is only Hulk because he manifests his anger into something destructive."
Perseus faced me, cocking his head,"That was how he came to be, but anger or not, Hulk will always be with Dr. Banner. They just need to learn to balance their emotions."
I raised an eyebrow,"And getting rid of all the anger will help balance him out?"
He scowled at me,"It'll clear their head."
I shook my head amused. Mortals were odd, especially this one. Suddenly I got elbowed in the gut. I grunted as I doubled over, glaring at him. He smirked and mockingly stuck his tongue out at me.
Slowly I rose, when I reached my full height, I kicked my foot. I caught him off guard and he went down like the mortals little boat, the Titanic. He landed on his back, yelping in surprise. I looked down and snorted at him.
Next thing I know, my breath was knocked out of me as my front side met the ice. Instantly, my demeanor of playful changed to one of panic as my skin touched the ice. I started gasping, my skin was turning colors.
I felt myself transforming. I couldn't think straight. I tried backing away, but it was too late. I looked at Perseus in horror as he glanced at me curiously. I wept on the inside, and finished transforming into the monster made of ice.
I stepped back, not looking at Perseus. I kept retreating until I reached the edge. I still haven't looked at the demigod, knowing that his expression would be filled with disgust. Just like everyone else.
A hand touched my forearm. I jumped, and growled in surprise. Turning, I was met with Perseus staring at me in curiosity. He didn't even move when I growled at him. I towered above the demigod, who was still studying me with unnerving eyes. I looked away ashamed.
"Beautiful." His voice breathed.
I faltered. What did he say? Why wasn't he cursing me or sneering or even jeering. That's what everyone else did, because I'm part of a monster. That's what everyone called me. Even my own family, murdered my kind because they claimed they were monsters.
"Absolutely fascinating." Perseus continued, tracing my skin in awe,"You're sort of like Dr. banner over there."
I turned to look at the green man. He was still jumping around like a hare, destroying the ice. How dare he compare me to an insufferable mortal! I growled at him, Perseus slapped me lightly.
"You both contain some sort of emotion keeping you from truly appreciating yourselves. He has anger, you have disgust." The demigod stated, looking up at me with his stormy eyes.
I frowned, I guess he was right. Perseus walked around me in a circle, studying me thoroughly. When he came to my front again, he grinned. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Now I don't have to walk."
With that said he jumped on me. I roared in protest, he kicked me lightly in response. Perseus quickly scaled my monstrous body until he was sitting on my shoulders. I twisted my head to glare at him.
The infuriating demigod smirked back at me. He patted my head like I was one of his Midgard pets. I growled at him, I was not his transportation device.
"Go, Loki! To the Hulk!" Perseus goaded playfully.
When we looked towards the doctor, he was slowing down with his rampage. Half of the ice block we stood on was crumbled to little bits. I wasn't going to move 5 feet when it'd be gone in less than an hour.
Annoyed with me, the demigod nudged me with his foot to get me moving. Rolling my eyes, I mockingly roared and quickly turned and grabbed him off my shoulders. Perseus gave a small scream of surprise.
He dangled in my large hands, blushing in embarrassment. I made a low noise that he realized after a few seconds was me laughing at him. Perseus playfully glared at me, swatting my giant blue hands.
His arms rest above on my fingers and his legs were left to stand on air. He was a couple feet from the ground, but it was still quite a drop for him. Perseus looked up at me wrinkling his nose.
"Ok, you can let me down now." Sass was clear in his voice.
I hummed. Not with that attitude. I started walking towards the edge of the ice burg. Perseus struggled, but I held his arms with one hand and his legs in the other.
"Loki! Put me down right now! If you're going to do what I think you're going to do then—"
He didn't get to finish as I slipped one finger over his face. Perseus voice muffled, and he started turning into vapor, but I was ready. Calling upon my ice powers, I froze the water around him, making it impossible for him to teleport. I froze all the water that came at me and made it disappear.
"Not cool, Loki! Not cool!" Perseus muffled voice growled.
I chuckled, he thought he could beat me in this form.
"Hulk! Hulk, help!" Perseus called out.
I snorted, like the beast would listen. I kept walking towards the edge and was only a couple feet from the water when the Hulk landed in front of me. He glared at me, and growled.
I didn't need to see Perseus face to know he was smirking. Damn you demigod. The Hulk took a half a step back before leaning forward and roaring loudly at me. How dare this mortal challenge me! Sneering at him, I tightened my grip on Perseus.
I opened my mouth and let out the most threatening scream I could. Then the Hulk grinned at me, oh no. Before I could move, I got decked in the face, and fell back. Dropping Perseus, I roared in anger and jumped at the Hulk.
We started rolling around the ice burg, neither of us gaining the upper hand. Eventually we stood face to face and started roaring at each other. The Hulk's anger had already been exercised thoroughly today, so soon enough he turned back into Dr. banner.
Satisfied that I won, I transformed back into my regular form. We both sat down, tired out from our excessive screaming and physical match. Dr. Banner turned towards me and gave me a nod of respect.
How peculiar, but I gave one in return. Maybe my other form isn't as bad as I thought. Perseus was right, we connect more than I do with the others. Chuckling turned my attention away from my similar.
"Well, that was a good talk," Perseus smirked.
Tell me what you think...
