Ezra's pov: 4 years old

It was a normal day on lasan and all was well. Actually that was a lie today is actually a very special day. The high honor guard of lasan was going to go around and meet everybody of my village. I was so excited I woke up early and waited for the high honor guard of lasan to get here. Everyone woke up early that day and was waiting. After all it wasn't everyday you got meet a member of the high honor guard of lasan. When they arrived everyone was estatic. Each family was greeted by a member but apparently there was enough members to talk to each family except for mine. I notice that Captain Garrizeb Orelios wasn't here yet. I was a little sad because he is my hero. He leads the guard with dignity and respect and treats everyone like equals. He is so cool but he would never talk to a regular lasan kit like me. Just then he came into town and no one noticed but me they were all busy talking to other members. He looked around then he saw me. He came over and said "hi" I was so excited that I couldn't help the smile on my face. We talked about everything. We talked about his bow rifle and how it changes appearances and we talked about his life in the high honor guard it was the coolest moment of my life. "Captain, you are my hero and I wanna be like you when I grow up" I said. He smiled at me and asked "said "I sorry captain but my parents died last year". He gave me a look of sadness and said "who do you live with then". I sighed then told him "no one, I live on my own in my parents old house". He had a look of shock on his face then the clock chimed 1pm and he said he had to go. I asked him if he will visit me next time and he said "we will see". I was smiling like a maniac when the danger alarm went off and an imperial ship landed in my village. He told me to run inside and get to safety along with everyone else. I tried to run but as soon as I did an imperial man with a small beard and light blonde hair picked me up and told everyone to stay back. The man had me in a hold so that he was holding me by my fur. It hurt a lot because I was being dangled from my fur. Captain Garrizeb Orelios told everyone to hold fire. I was being hurt so I started to whimper in pain. Still the man never lost his grip and yelled for everyone to stay back or he would shot me. No body moved and all eyes were on me and that man. One member of the guard did move though and he was shot and then chaos broke out and everyone was fighting but the imperials shot every last one of them till there was only Captian Garrizeb Orelios left. I started crying because my whole village was dead and the lasan honor guard was down to 1 member. Suddenly I felt imence pain in my arm and I started screaming. I noticed that the imperial shot me in the arm. The Captian got angry and lunged forward but the imperial just dodged and took a bow rifle in 1 hand and me in the other and got on the ship. The Captian stole a shuttle and tried to go after us but he was to late and lasan was destroyed.

Zeb's pov:

We were on our way to the next village when all of a sudden I heard a small whimper. I told my men to go and that I will be there shortly. They followed my instructions and I went to the sound of the whimper. I found a small animal hurt badly so I took care of it then headed to the village. When I got here every member was talking to someone or a family but I noticed a little boy looking a little sad. I went over and said "hi" when he looked up at me he had the biggest smile on his little face. We stared talking and I realized how curious he was. He basically wanted to know everything about what it's like to be on the high honor guard. I answered all his questions. He said something that made my day though. He said "Captain you are my hero and I want to be like you when I grow up".I smiled and asked him about his parents he got a sad look on his face. He sighed then told me that his parents died a year ago. I gave him a look of sadness and asked him who he lived with. He got an even sadder look on his face and said " I live with no one and in my parents old house". I was shocked that this 6 year old lived by himself. I heard the clock chime 1 pm and ran to meet the other guards. Before I left he asked me if I will come back and visit and I told him "we will see" after I said that he got the biggest smile on his face and I left the kit. I met up with the other guards and 1 guard said that he saw what I did for the kit. I was about to answer him but the danger alarm went off and an imperial ship landed. I ran over to the kit and told him to go with the others to safety but the ISB agent grabbed him by the fur. He told everyone to stay back or he would shoot the kit. I told my men to hold fire because I didn't want anything to happen to the kit. The kit then started to whimper in pain as the ISB agent dangled him by his fur. The ISB agent still kept his grip on the kid and told us again that he would shoot the kit if we moved. No one moved until 1 guard tried to save the kit but she was shot and he fell dead. After that first shot chaos broke out and all were fighting. I looked over and saw that every single one of my men were dead and so was the village. I then heard other screams from the villages and realized that everyone was dead. The kit realized this too and he started crying and suddenly the ISB agent shot the kit and he screamed in pain. I got angry and lunged at the ISB agent but he dodged and got on the ship with a bow rifle and the kit. I got angrier and stole a shuttle and tried to get them before they entered hyper space. I couldn't catch them and I went into hyper space but before I did I looked back and saw lasan doing destroyed. I landed on Lothal but I didn't find the kit. I looked and looked high and low on every planet I came across but I didn't find him.
