2 years later

Zeb's pov:

"What's the mission today boss?" I said to kanan, he replied with "a rescue Mission". "Ok well I'm going to go and prep for the mission" I told kanan and he answered with a simple "ok" I went to go get my bow rifle and tell Sabine the mission. I came back to the cockpit and asked everyone who we were rescuing. It turns out nobody knew who we were rescuing. We didn't know the species, gender, name, or age. We were going in blind of any information except the fact that this person has been with the empire for 2 years. "Alright let's go rescue this person" said kanan and off we went to a lothal imperial prison. When we reached there me and kanan went to go find the prisoner while chopper finds out what cell he is in. Chopper found out that the prisoner is in cell 35A. That was a troture cell and when me and kanan noticed this we started to run as fast as we could to the prisoner hoping that this person was ok. We were able to avoid any bucket heads (storm trooper) on our way there. As we got closer we heard screams of pain and whimpers. We finally reached cell 35A and burst through the door. When we looked in the room we found 2 torture droids In a cell with a kit strapped to a chair thing screaming and whimpering and thrashing around in pain. I broke from my shock first and ran to the kit then kanan broke from his shocked state and sliced the droids in half. I noticed the kit passed out so I quickly and gently I strapped him and picked him up and carried him back to ship destroying anything in my way. Keeping this kit from anymore harm was my main priority.

Kanan's pov:

I have never seen zeb act like this before. He was destroying everything in his path to protect that kit. I don't know how it feels to lose your entire race but Zeb does. He lost everything, his home, his family, his men, his planet I can't imagine how he feels knowing that there is someone from his planet who survived besides him. I don't know the full story but I intend to find out when Zeb is ready he will tell. Anyway he tore through bucket heads faster than ever and in no time at all we reached the Ghost  with the kit in Zeb's arms. When we reached the Ghost everyone was shocked at the state of the kit but even more shocked that the prisoner was a survivor of Lasan.

Hera's pov:

I was waiting on the ship with Sabine and chopper and in the distance I saw Zeb running and destroying anything in his path at lightning speed with something in his arms. The next thing I know Zeb and Kanan reached the ship and then I saw what was in Zeb's arms. It was the prisoner and what shocked me was he was in a critical state. What shocked me even more was that the prisoner was a kit from Lasan. I can't believe it he and Zeb are the last surviving Lasats from Lasan. I finally snapped out of my shocked state and started barking orders at the other and went into mother Hera mode. Everyone snapped out of their own state of shock and got me everything I needed. I was in the med bay with Zeb because he refused to leave the kit. Zeb has never acted like this to anyone before but he  is really worried about this kit. I can tell I mean Zeb has lost so much and now that we found this kit he had 3 emotions in his eyes. They are worry, hope, and.....love.
