Case 4

I know that I'm posting on this fanfic a lot, but if I want to include it in my reaction book for the Loud House. It at least needs to have five chapters. Also the pictures used aren't mine.

Now back to the story:

Jonah stared at his friend in shock mainly cause his face wasn't human. It was an alternates meaning that he let his friend die to them.

He should've stayed.

He should've stayed.

He should've stayed.

He should've stayed.

He was taken back in reality when Adam started to speak to him. He expected yelling, anger or disappointment to come out of Adam's mouth, but instead he got something else.

You still think that you're funny after all this time.

At first, Jonah didn't understand what he meant, but before he could make a response Adam kept talking.

You were never took anything seriously during our investigations. You were always joking around and leaving me to do the hard work. I mean, you never attempted to enter that house and left me to see some new friends. Friends who care more about me than you.

"A..Adam, I do care about you." Jonah started to say before Adam scoffed.

Really? You honestly expect me to believe that. Figures. I should've known that you will say anything to save your own skin.

"Adam, I'm not lying. I'm sorry about what I said before I drove off and...." Jonah started to say before Adam interrupted.

In a way, I should thank you for doing that. If you haven't then I wouldn't have known about my true self.

"True self?" Jonah asked.

I wasn't human, Jonah. I fooled myself into thinking that I was for years, but thanks to a friend...I know the truth.

"Adam, what happened to you?" Jonah asked. Adam just stared down at his friend and smiled. It wasn't a smile that held any warmth or comfort, but one that showed just how insane he has become.

I have become a follower of the world's new ruler...our master. We will help bring the end of humanity and take this world for all that it's worth. You will obey and never question them or else....

Jonah stared at his friend...no, this monster wasn't his friend. Adam wasn't the type to do something like this. He needed to save him before he goes further down the rabbit hole. However, it wouldn't be easy and could be impossible, but he has to try.

At the same time, the hospital patient woke up in his bed and stared at the ceiling for a bit. His head was hurting and he could barely move his arms. He wondered what happened and where....

Just then, a young woman entered his hospital room. She had brown hair and seemed familiar to the man. Before he could ask her who she was, she gasped and rushed over to his side.

"Caesar, you're awake!" The woman said.

"W..Who are you?" Caesar asked.

"It's me, Sarah. You've met me before when you visited my brother's house." Sarah said.

"Sarah? How long have I?" Caesar asked.

"You've been in a coma for years after the alternate attacked you." Sarah said.

"What?" Caesar said with a surprised look on his face. He was attacked by an alternate and fell into a coma?

"You are lucky to be alive, however the same can't be said for your mother." Sarah said.

"What happened to her?" Caesar asked.

"She was killed by it. You were almost killed too, but help arrived quickly and got you to the hospital." Sarah said.

"Oh my god. Wait, where's Mark?" Caesar asked.

"Mark was attacked by the same alternate that attacked you. When my parents and I called the authorities after he never went to school, they found his room open with a puddle of blood on his bedroom floor. It was concluded that he was killed, but I have my doubts." Sarah said.

"So you don't think that he was killed by an alternate?" Caesar asked.

"Alternates usually leave the bodies of their victims after driving them M.A.D. However in this case, his body was missing. So I figured that the alternate took my brother after he followed the steps of the T.H.I.N.K Principle." Sarah said.

"But why take him?" Caesar asked.

"I'm not sure, but I figured it wasn't anything good. I need your help to hopefully find and bring him back home." Sarah asked.

"Sarah..." Caesar started to say before Sarah interrupted him.

"I know the risks and I'm prepared to take them on, but I need to find my older brother. Without him our family has fallen apart and I surely can't entrust the Mandela authorities to do anything. They abandoned him after he called for help and left him with that alternate alone. This could also give us a chance to take revenge for all of the people that they have killed over the years. So what do you say...Will you help me?" Sarah asked.

Caesar looked down at his hands before looking Sarah with a determined look on his face. This will be dangerous and risky, but he will do anything to save his friend so he said:

I'm in.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
