Mason groaned, his head all confused on what to do what to do.

He wanted to escape but that means stabbing everyone behind the back.. but he wanted to help.

His ears perked up and he knew his choice..

He gazed at the fence and crawled under it, but after he did that, he stood close to the hole and..

Yelled, "Fight!"

Everyone immediately began to run towards the hole and make their escape, it took 3 minutes to figure out what was going on..

"Sliver!" Mason called out, then he was grabbed and dragged to escape, he gazed at who grabbed him.

"Sliver! You made it!" Mason said as he got out of his grip and ran next to him.

"Yeah. Let's just get out of here first!" Sliver told Mason as he grabbed Mason and carried him in his arms.

"What are you doing!?" Mason asked, "You wouldn't make it very far." Sliver told.

After a bit of running, Sliver tripped and Mason flew out of his arms..

It took Mason a minute to recover, and he crawled to Sliver's side, "What happened?!" He asked.

Sliver whimpered and held Mason's paw, "Go.. go and be free.." he told weakly..

Mason gazed at Sliver's foot, it was stuck in a thorn bush..

He couldn't leave Sliver.. he had been his only friend in that prison..

He took his paws and tore away the thorns from his foot, but ended up hurting his paws, but he didn't care, he took Silver's arm and wrapped it around his neck and shoulder and pushed on..

~A day later~

Sliver slowly opened his eyes and gazed at something.. orange.. red and blue...

He slowly rose up and saw what it was.. Fire.. he let out a soft yawn and looked at the fox..

Mason was playing with a stick, poking around at the fire, something was missing.. his jacket.. he had given it up for Sliver as a blanket, his fur would help him.. along with the fire he had made.

"Mason?" Sliver said weakly..
