BEFORE WE BEGIN:
It has been a few days since Percy started living with the Crocks and today is the day that Artemis will officially be introduced to the YJ team.
Percy, being the ADHD kid he is, secretly goes with her by hacking into the mountains 'unhackable' security. Which is where we are now...

Renegades POV

I successfully managed to hack my way through the mountains 'back door' and am now camouflaged in the shadows. Since I burned my uniform, I used my shapeshifting abilities to make a new one. As I had been doing for clothes for the past days.

Anyways, as I was standing there, Artemis was talking to Batman and Green Arrow. I already know that they were going back over what she was expected to do. She had told me before she left the apartment.

"Kid Flash B-07(?)" The Zeta tube computer said. "The Wall-man is in the house!" Came a voice. Suddenly, there lay a ginger-haired boy on the floor, completely covered in beach stuff. I held back a laugh unsuccessfully, but luckily it was covered up by Robins laugh.

"'Wall-man' huh? Love the costume. What, exactly are your powers?" Asked Artemis sarcastically. I mentally laughed, then zoned out.

When I came back out of the zone, the team was gone. Oops. I quickly hacked my way out of the mountain, and looked for them. When I finally found them, they were at some computer lab thing, I think. I quickly mind-linked myself to Artemis.

"Hey Arty, whatcha doin'?" I asked her. A slight gasp escaped her mouth. "Gees Perce. A little warning next time would have been good!" She said back. "Aww. But that's no fun!" I replied. Before she could reply, another mind entered our little chat and I quickly quieted myself. "Link established." The voice of Ms.M said in my head.

"This is so weird." Artemis though, playingly. I laughed at this, then disconnected from the link. I did a quick sweep of the perimeter and found KF in the pool. I instantly knew someone else was here.

So, after getting him out with my Atlantian powers, I ran after the intruder. When I caught up, I immediately realized that she was trying to assassinate the doctor looking person at the computer. The intruder then loaded two darts and blew them.

Without thinking, I used my powers to stop the darts and shot them back at them. They jumped out of the way and started fighting Kid Flash. Once I saw the intruders mask though, I immediately knew who it was.

Cheshire...

A/N: I know it's short and crappy (much like the rest of the book). It's been a while since I've written a new chapter and I don't quite remember where I was going with the plot...

So, if anyone would like to give me any plot ideas, that'd be GREAT!
