Chapter 2

Siren's POV

I smiled as Snake dragged me into the house where the Orbitals live. Now that I'm an Orbital, I get to live with them. Snake was positively jumping up and down as he led me through the house. He told me my room was right across from his and somehow I know it was Order's fault for that.

I never thought I would even think about dating a guy, because I had Annabeth, but now that I don't I thought about it. Which was really hard because I suddenly decided to think about it when I was going through commander's initiation which didn't give me much time to think, and Snake's flirting wasn't helping anything.

I wasn't looking for a relationship after Annabeth because I know I loved her more than anything and it destroyed me after she died, but I had a century to think. Also I revisited Earth and snuck the underworld to talk to her. She told me to live more and not to wait on her because she wouldn't be going anywhere and she wants me happy. As expected I argued and said I wouldn't be happy without her, she smiled and shook her head.

"I see it in your eyes Percy, you hold at least some interest for another person... and it isn't a girl."

Gee, I wonder how well that went over, but she said she didn't mind sharing, as long as she was the only female when I finally rested with her. That worked, because she will always be the most beautiful girl inside and out to me. So I promised, but didn't guarantee that I'd date a boy. I had to leave when I saw Hades speed walking into Elysium, but last thing she said was to say hi to her blue eyed brother for her.

After 2  years, I decided I was bi based off of my love with Annabeth and interest in Snake. I knew Snake in the past, but it still didn't effect my feelings for him, but sometimes he would challenge me to a sword fight to see if I was better than him.

My century and more years of training payed off, general or not he couldn't beat me. That's why he kept a knife in his boot, which I recommended so I don't know why he thought he could fool me. I was brought out of my thoughts when I slammed into another body knocking us both onto the floor.

"We're here." Snake said underneath me. I rolled my eyes and helped him up.

"Annabeth says hi." I channeled to him.

He smiled widely at that. I walked into his room, it had a nice luxurious bathroom in the corner, he had a huge tv in front of his bed which was laying hugged up against the wall and corner. It looked really comfortable, all fluffy and soft. Many video games and among other entertainment systems, but he had a guitar next to the desk with lots of pictures.

I looked at him silently telling him that he had to play me a song later, he nodded, agreeing instantly. I walked over to the desk studying the pictures, he had a lot with the Orbitals, some with Thalia and Annabeth, but the one that really caught my eye was the selfie of him and me at my first year at CHB, I was asleep on his chest, we were in this secret spot in the woods where the night sky was filled with stars and the ocean calmly waving.

"If you're going to cry let me get the crying emoji pillow first."

I glared a him playfully,"Shut up, Snake."

He laughed and led me to my room. I studied it, my bed looked as soft and fluffy as Snake's. I also had a tv and bathroom, but on my desk were all the pictures I had to leave behind at CHB and my moms place. All of them were here, on the desk under glass or in the scrapbook leaning against its holder open. I felt my emotions bubbling as happiness seeped in. Also sadness as I thought about the ones I don't have in my life anymore.

"Get me that dam pillow now or you won't get kisses for a week."

The second the words left my mind I had a face full of emoji pillow. I fell back into my boyfriends arms hugging me as I stared at all the beautiful pictures. I thanked Chaos over and over in my head, this is the best present I ever got, considering my circumstances.

"It's the least I could do, you told me of your past and given me great service by being my Commander. After all you've been though this is what Order and I believed would make you happiest." Chaos messenger me.

"It has, it has, it most definitely has." I felt a smile through the link.

"Siren, do you want to go officially meet everyone else?" Snake asked me breaking me from my thoughts.

"I already know them." I stated.

"Their true selves, their pasts, them. Which means you would share as well if you don't mind." My silence met his somewhat question.

"If you don't want to you don't have to, but—" I interrupted him before he could ramble.

"I will."

"Can I carry you then?"

I looked at him weirdly,"No—"

He got up off my bed and started dragging me to the door. I struggled in his arms, I will not be carried into the room of my new comrades like a damsel, especially since I was now the commander. Suddenly he dropped me onto the bed, I turned onto my stomach glaring up at him.

He kneeled down and gave me a kiss, I grinned up at him, but the grin dropped when he grabbed my legs and hung me upside down. I let out an unmanly squeak as my head fell less than an inch away from the floor. I grabbed onto one of his legs to make sure I didn't crash into them as he walked.

"Put me down this instant or I swear you won't get anything more than hugs this week, maybe not even that."

Once the threat got to his ears—mind he dropped me. He stopped walking and let go of my legs, I crashed onto the floor. Growling I grabbed his ankle and yanked it towards me. He let out a yelp and fell to the ground.

"Let this be a warning, General Snake." He looked up at me flushed.

I had trouble holding in my laughter as how sad he looked. Giving me puppy eyes, I turned away and refused him. He got up stalking toward me, but I would not give in. I backed up until I hit the edge of a table. My hands held onto it as Snake was right in front of me.

I stared to the side knowing if I looked into his eyes I would give in. An arm blocked my sight as he put both arms on the sides of my head. He mewled cutely and nuzzled my neck before biting on my ear. I bit my tongue not letting a sound of air escape.

"Stop being so cruel, Siren." He whined, I chuckled.

"I warned you." I channeled smugly.

A cough interrupted, much to my relief, but also embarrassment making us both turn. All the Orbitals were there, Star was blushing, but grinning with the other girl, the boys were snickering and making inappropriate motions that had me turning red.

"I'm going to stop you both there because Snake, you deserve this for all those pranks and can finally be punished in a suitable way, also we need to get proper introductions done." Star said coming between Snake and I who pouted.

"That is after all why you brought me here, is it not?" I channeled from behind Star.

"Yeah, but then you got all handsy." Snake argued.

"For dragging me here instead of letting me walk."

"Whatever, can I have my boyfriend back now, Star? I promise I won't do anything too inappropriate." Snake begged.

"No, you'll just get distracted so sit down, everyone sit down." Star ordered.

We sat facing each other kind of like a circle, a single chair opposite another, then a couch facing another couch with a table in the middle of it all. Star sat on my right and Snake on my left. The only woman captain sat next to Star in the single chair, two more captains on the couch opposite us, coincidently the two I knocked out in the signal rooms years ago, and the last chair occupied by the last male captain.

"Well, I'll start and we can work our way around." Star said, everyone nodded in confirmation.

"I'm Star, co-general of Chaos and Order, but you used to know me as Zoë Nightshade, Lieutenant of Artemis." I smiled at her.

I knew as soon as I saw her, looking like a Persian princess, even without looking at her face, her eyes were ones I'd never forget. I turned to the next female in the Orbitals.

Her hair was so blonde it was white, with a tint light blue. She was taller than usual, probably around 5'8, 5'9, thin frame, but muscles showing on her legs and arms from hard work. Her eyes were a cerulean blue, the paleness of her skin making her eyes pop even more. Her voice was like a melody song when she spoke.

"My name is Harmony, I'm from planet Celestia like all these morons, but I was Royal. I was born to a family that needed a princess, all my siblings were boys, once they had me I was immediately trained to be queen. I was trained and trained, I had no fun or childhood. I became strong and independent. My brothers became warriors and when I was 13 I became and older sister to another girl." She sighed.

"Once my sister Aria was born, my parents eased up on my training and allowed my brothers to teach me how to fight and defend myself. I fell in love with it, the thrill of the fight, adrenaline high. I started training every free moment I had and soon triumphed above my brothers and any that dared battle me." An amused glint in her eyes shone.

"I became the new thing, the whole planet was talking about the warrior princess who was unbeatable. That's how Chaos found me, battling on the front lines against enemies who wandered in the forest and gathered against their sworn enemy, my kingdom." Anger in her rose up and I felt the energy around us quicken and heat.

"My brother, the one who first taught me, fell to their leader. I challenged him and won. I lit his body aflame and put his head on a stake. I lead our army to victory and dared any who still wanted to fight to fight, for I would avenge my blood. Peace became my planet because the enemy was too scared to face my wrath."

"Chaos came to me a few months after the war and offered me a place. I agreed and left my kingdom in the hands of my younger sister Aria and the army to my brothers. My parents were proud that I became a warrior instead of a Queen, they were pleased with my accomplishments and vengeance for my brother."

"They told me to go and make my name. Before I left they bore another child and named it Destiny, for me. When I came into the army, Alpha welcomed me and had me battle one person from each section of the army, I bested them all. Chaos had me battle the captains, I triumphed. When I battled the generals, I ended the first in a draw, the second I lost for the first time in awhile."

"I was humbled and not angry, I was given position as a captain who was on leave, but never returned. I became aquatinted with my section of the army and trained harder, no other female besides Star has bested me yet and I hope that if it does then they are worthy to take upon my position."

After she finished she let out a deep breath and looked at me. I stayed silent watching her. A born princess destined a warrior, she was strong. I nodded at her and looked at the boys across from me.

The one on Harmony's right had hazel eyes that matched his chocolate brown hair. He was pale like all the other elves, a beautiful moon pale though, tall, taller than me by a  long shot, probably around 6'7. The elf across from Snake had gold eyes with midnight black hair, tall like the one next to him, probably 6'7 as well.

"I am Dawn." The hazel eyed one said speaking first.

"Call me Crest." The golden eyed one said.

"We are brothers from Celestia, twins actually, obviously not identical. We were born into the army, our mother was a warrior as well as her husband. We grew up in the army, long after Harmony, threats had rose up again and we were on call to make them vanish." Dawn who I decided was the older one because he always spoke first said exasperated.

Crest started talking, taking over from his brother,"Once my brother and I were 18 we were separated from our parents, not that we minded much because they barely raised us. We don't blame them, duty calls, but we know that they loved us. Once separated we found the portal to The Port."

Dawn took over,"Once through the portal we traveled, becoming stronger both physically and mentally, practicing everything, even our power. Order found us wandering with no purpose and brought Chaos to meet us. He had us battle someone in every section of the army, both of us easily won, we beat each captain, but somehow both ended in a draw with Harmony."

Said person snorted at that as Crest continued.

"We lost to the generals no questions asked, we needed more training, but are still working on humbling. We became apprentices to two captains, both fell in battle about a century of two later. We were promoted and hope to become humble and serve until our end."

They grinned at the end. I studied them staying silent again. They started getting nervous as I let my gaze stay on them till they squirmed. Suddenly a hand wrapped itself around my waist and pulled me onto a lap. Instantly I blushed breaking my stare off the two brothers who started snickering.

"Stop scaring them Perce." Snake whispered putting his other hand on my thigh.

I rolled my eyes and leaned back against his chest. I nodded to the twins and set my gaze on the last captain. He had slick black hair with silver eyes. Really tall and had this dark kind of mysterious look. Around 7' foot, sitting in the chair to Snake and my right, his eyes met mine, but I saw no judgment as Snake kissed my cheek.

"Ebony, I was born in Celestia to a single mother who's husband left for war and never came back. I was poor most of my life and my mother worked long and hard hours to keep us alive. Around 15 my mother grew ill and I went joined the army to bring money for her health." I saw the look in his eyes and immediately understood, my mother also went through drastic measures to keep us off the streets.

"I left her with a trusted friend, because I joined the army I was gone for long periods of time. I improved and soon because highest rank, below the royal commander of course. I made many enemies, but life was good. My mothers illness was cured and because of the money I made combined with hers we made it to modern society. Not poor, but not rich, my mothers hours had gone down and her work effort had gone down." Suddenly his expression darkened and saddened.

"One time when I came home, my house door was left open. The furniture everywhere, my house trashed. In the bedroom with blood everywhere, my mother lay dead and naked on the bed. It didn't take an expert to know what happened. The murders mistake was to leave their name to take ownership of the crime." A slightly sadistic look appeared in his eyes.

"When I returned to the army, I trained until I dropped. I searched for the murder until I found him. When I did, there was hell to pay, let's just say that. It was a lot worse then a burned body and a staked head. I tore him apart. Order found me after the murder, mourning my mothers death and brought me to Chaos."

"I joined and worked my way up. People stayed away from me, but they trusted my decisions and soon enough I was promoted to captain when the captain before me retired. I was here before Harmony, she came about 50 years after I was promoted."

He looked at me and raised his eyebrows. I pursued my lips and stayed silent. His childhood was somewhat like mine, mothers at least, and he was in battle most of his life. I related to him, I gave him a nod like everyone else, but this time I smiled a little instead.

Snake cleared his throat and I turned towards him. His blonde hair harmonized with his beautiful sky blue eyes. He smirked and did an eye sweep over my body. I smacked his arm and motioned for him to continue.

"I'm Snake, co-general of Chaos and Order, but you used to know me as Luke Castellan, son of Hermes." I smiled sadly, his bad choices kept us apart and brought us to an inevitable war.

"Your turn, babe." Snake said breaking me out of my moment of sorrow.

"Don't call me babe." I channeled, before turning back to the Orbitals.

"You knew me as Apóvli̱tos, The Outcast, but before that I was known as Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon..."

Tell me what you think...
