I'm bored. The boys left a while ago. But they left me with ice cream. And Kira my maid is here. Jerky Jay said he would take me out later if I behaved. That's my new name for him.

"I'm bored"

"I'm sorry"

I stick my tongue out at her and she sticks hers back at me. We are laying in my room reading magazines. She can do pretty much whatever she wants as long as she gets the 'chores' done. She gets paid too.

"You could help me clean?"

"That's even more boring. Let's play a game."

"Like what?"

"Truth or dare."

"Mmk"

We play that for a while. While I'm in the middle of trying to do a handstand, Jerky Jay calls out

"I'm home! Hazel I'm taking you shopping and I want you ready in 15 minutes! Go!"

I immediately fall. He scared me!

"Help me?"

"Sure"

I change into jeans and a hot pink top. With Galaxy converse of course. Kira does my hair in some complicated bun with all sorts of twists while I do my makeup. Only eye shadow and lip gloss them I'm ready to go.

"Ready Hazel?"

"Yes! I'm coming!"

I say goodbye to Kira and walk downstairs.

"Hey baby. You look good."

I make a face "I'm not your baby. Don't call me that. Let's go. Can we ride in the truck?"

"I'll call you what I want. Sure. Let's go."

Hm. Whatever. He drives to the mall and we listen to the radio on the way.

"Come on"

"Can we get a puppy?"

He looks at me weird "A puppy?"

"Yea. Why not?"

"Maybe. Or a cat."

"Yay! Thanks Jay!"

"Mmhmm."

We walk around for a while and I see Clair's. I need a iPod case. I drag him over there and we walk in. I see some really cute earrings and grab those. I also see a iPod case that says dream big and grab that. Then I see the nail polish. So many colorssssssss.

"Can we get them all?!"

"Not if you want a puppy or kitty."

"Dang. Just this one. And this one. Ooh and that one. I need this one. And that one."

"How about no nail polish right now. But those and come on."

I do as he says and walk out. Shoe store!  I run in there see hiking boots. I love boots. Any kind.

"Only one pair Hazel. You have like four pairs of shoes already...."

"Yea. Only four. Need more. Like those."

He sighs. "One pair. That's it."

Fine. I grab a pair of beautiful black combat boots. He pays for them and we leave. Cat or dog? Cat. Defiantly cat.

"I want a kitty."

"Okay. If you behave for a week you can keep it. Deal?"

"Deal."

We walk to the adoption center and I go towards the cats. I Love black cats so I look at them.  I point to one and Jay nods. He talks to someone and buys everything we need. He's rich. Maybe this won't be so bad....

"What you naming it?"

"Learn to use proper grammar. And I'm naming it Midnight."

"So creative..." I hear him mumble. Since I'm the most mature person ever, I stick my tongue out at him.

"I'm tired let's go home. We can pick something up?"

"Okay."

I get Midnight and we leave. This cat is heavy! Well not the actual cat but the carrier is. Midnight only weighs 14 pounds. She is a kitten so it makes sense.

"What do you want?"

"Pizza. I don't care from where but I want pizza."

"Okay. Papa Johns?"

"Sure."

I order sausage and cheese. He orders everything with extra spicy things. Yuck. After we eat it in the car, we go home.

"I'll be in my room with Midnight. Knock to come in so she won't run out and get lost. It's very possible in here you know."

"Yea yea. Go on."

I take her things and we go up. I had to make two trips. I put food and water in the dishes and set them down. Then I put her toys on the ground and her bed in the corner. Don't ask why Jay bought a bed, I don't know. Lastly I open the carrier and coax her out.

"It's ok Midnight. Yes that's your name. Yes I sound like a idiot but I don't care."

She comes out and I show her the food. She immediately starts eating and drinking. She's adorable. I didn't realize she was done but I do when she pounces on my shoe lace.

"Silly kitty"

I play for the rest of the night with her. I get tired so I climb in bed with midnight next to me. I think she likes me!
