Hadrian had now been with the dark for 2 months, and it had been one month since he had met with the dark lord, the rest of his family and the death eaters.

Hadrian had found that he liked nearly all of the people in the dark. The death eaters were all nice to him, teaching him things that he needed help with, each death eater also taught him different subjects in a way that was better then when he was at Hogwarts. His aunt Bella was actually quite sane and taught him the theory behind the dark spells. Sirius and Remus helped him figure out what his animagus form was and how to turn into it, he had not been able to at the present time. His parents and brother showed him the love that he had never been given to him from family, they taught him how to act like a pureblood and how to work his mask around others.

Severus was another surprise for Hadrian, the man was really nice and caring to the people that got to know him and when Hadrian did this he found that he couldn't stop himself calling the man uncle, which did not seem to bother the potions master. Severus was teaching him how to do potions and more about what will happen during his creature transformation.

However there was one person that Hadrian found helping him above the others, and that was the dark lord himself. Tom had let Hadrian stay with him every night to keep the nightmares away, he was also showing Hadrian his creature and what it can do. Hadrian loved the creature as well, he looked human but he had fangs, his blood red eyes glowed, an amber tint appeared in his eyes and he got more pale, the most shocking thing was the pair of wings on his back. The fangs, the paleness and the amber tint to the eyes showed that he was a vampire, the eyes glowing and the wings on his back showed that he was a phoenix.

Then Hadrian was introduced to his familiar forms, of which Tom had two. The first was a snake, one a little bigger then Nagini herself but it was definitely poisonous. The second form was a phoenix, it was a black colour with red on the wings and head as well as spread around the body of the bird. Hadrian loved both of them.

Over the month that Hadrian had spent with Tom the feelings in him only grew, he didn't want to tell the man what he was feeling because he knew he was going to have a mate, and he didn't want to hurt the man who was probably looking for his mate for a long time.

However what Hadrian did not know was that Tom was feeling this exact thing as well, his feelings for the boy had grown in the month that they had spent together. However he didn't want to tell Hadrian these feelings because he knew that the boy had a mate out there that may not be him, and he didn't want to keep Hadrian from them.

Hadrian and his family were in Riddle Manor, Hadrian and Draco were busy learning harder dark spells. They had not gotten high enough to study the unforgivables but they were getting close, they wanted to know these spells for when they took the Dursley's, which they were planning for the next month.

Hogwarts had closed for another month for some reason, all they did was send a letter to the students saying that the school was going to be closed for the next month, meaning that they would have one more month before Hadrian was discovered missing.

Hadrian had been practicing for a few hours when he felt a pain his chest, he clutched it but it was not that bad so he didn't think anything of it. As the lesson progressed the pain began to increase to the point where he collapsed onto the floor of the training hall.

Tom, Lucius, Narcissa and Draco were the first ones to run over to him. "Hadrian, what is wrong?" Tom asked him as he cradled the boy to his chest.

"My chest hurts Tom." Hadrian told them.

When they looked at the boy closer they saw that he seemed to be changing, he was getting paler and that is when everyone figured out what was happening.

"He's changing." Draco said. He had already gone through his inheritance and he was a full vampire and he had yet met his mate.

"Its okay Hadrian the pain is normal, it will pass soon." Tom told the boy he was holding.

Hadrian did not say anything for a few hours. When the changing was complete Hadrian did look a bit different, he was pale and he had fangs, his eyes their normal silvery colour with the ring of emerald however right next to that ring there was a ring of amber beside it. His eyes were also glowing, this showed that the boy had two creatures.

Suddenly Tom was hit with something coming from the back of Hadrian, when Tom looked he saw that it was a pair of wings similar to his own. However Hadrian had black with purple instead of the black and red that Tom had.

"Ugh, what happened?" Hadrian asked as he got up from the floor.

"You went through the inheritance and it is completed." Lucius told him.

"Cool, what am I?!" Hadrian asked excitedly.

"I have an idea but we have to go to Gringott's to make sure." Tom said as he helped Hadrian to his feet.

Hadrian then did something unexpected, he sniffed the air.

Hadrian could smell something delicious but he didn't know what it was, he had never smelled something like this before. So he followed his nose with his eyes shut, as the scent got stronger he bumped into a hard chest and when he opened his eyes he saw Tom had a hold on his shoulders. Hadrian sniffed once more and found that the source of the smell was coming from Tom himself, he nuzzled into Tom and continued to smell him loving it.

"What is he doing?" Draco asked puzzled, he hadn't gone through this when he transformed.

"I don't know, it seemed as if he was following a scent and it led him right to Tom. Lets go to Gringott's maybe they have some answers." Narcissa said as she and Lucius took Draco and apparated to Gringott's. Tom took a hold of Hadrian, since he did not look like a snake people would not be able to recognise him, and the goblins were dark so they would not tell anyone they were there.

When Hadrian opened his eyes he was in Gringott's, he knew that he should move away from the man he was cuddling into but he just didn't want to, nor could he, move away.

"Hello how can I help you?" The goblin at the front asked. It was the same goblin that helped Hadrian when he first came here.

"Yes Hadrian here as just gone through his inheritance early, we would like to know what he is." Lucius explained, he was ever the pureblood knowing that he had to speak to goblins with respect.

"Yes I remember Mr Malfoy, please follow me." The goblin told them.

They followed him and they ended up in one of the private rooms used for numerous things, Hadrian was still hanging onto Tom.

"Well Mr Malfoy, please place a few drops of blood onto this parchment and we can learn what you are." The goblin said. Hadrian was comfy to move so he held out his hand and the goblin cut his palm letting a few drops of blood fall before healing the wound. As soon as his hand was let go he moved to snuggle into Tom more.

They waited a few moments and watched as the blood swirled around the page before forming black ink that turned into words.

"Hadrian, you need to listen to this." Lucius told his son. Hadrian heard his father and moved away from Tom, however he only turned around to face the group with his back against Tom's chest and Tom's arms wrapped around him. Hadrian's hands were resting on top of Tom's.

The paper read:

Name: Hadrian Malfoy

Mother: Narcissa Malfoy

Father: Lucius Malfoy

Brother: Draco Malfoy

Creature: Vampire/Phoenix

Mate: Tom Marvolo Riddle AKA Lord Voldemort.

"Well that explains why he so caught on you Tom and why he sniffed you." Narcissa said. Her and Lucius shared a look, they both knew how their son felt for the dark lord and they both knew how the dark lord for their son. They also both knew that the man would take care of their son no matter what, he already did every night the boy had nightmares.

"Tom's my mate?" Hadrian asked. He was happy, he had wanted the man to be his mate since the day he found out he would be a creature, he knew he had been falling in love with the man.

"Yes he is. Mr Riddle, could I have a few drops of your blood to make sure?" The goblin asked pulling out another piece of parchment. Tom nodded and gave his hand to the goblin, after getting it from Hadrian's grip, and the goblin slit his palm letting a few drops fall before healing his hand. Hadrian grabbed his hand as soon as it was released.

The parchment read:

Name: Tom Riddle

Mother: Merope Riddle nee Gaunt.

Father: Thomas Riddle

Creature: Vampire/Phoenix

Mates: Hadrian Malfoy

"Its true, you are my mate. I have been waiting a long time for you." Tom said as he looked down at Hadrian in his arms. Hadrian smiled up at him.

"Yeah I was hoping it was you." Hadrian said as a blush covered his cheeks, one that Tom found really cute.

"Congrats you two, I know you are good for one another." Draco said.

"But we don't have warn you Tom, that dark lord or not, if you hurt our son you will regret it?" Lucius said, Narcissa nodding beside him.

Usually Tom would torture those that spoke to him in this manor, but he knew that they were just protecting the son that they had only got back two months ago. "Of course not, like I said I have been waiting for him for a long time, I am not going to lose him." Tom said, looking down at Hadrian with a smile on his face.

Narcissa, Lucius and everyone else in the room all smiled at the scene they made. "Now I must warn you that Mr Malfoy is not going to want to be away from his mate." The goblin told them.

"And why is that?" Lucius asked.

"Simple. Mr Malfoy only became a creature a short time ago and his mate was right there waiting for him, the mating bond has already begun. Because of this they are going to want to be in constant touch or sights of one another to assure themselves that their mate is really there." The goblin explained to them.

"Will they have a feeling to complete the mating bond?" Draco asked, thinking it strange to think of his brother doing that.

"Oh no. They will not feel that way yet the bond is still too new, however it will not be that long until they begin to have the tug of wanting to complete the bond it is natural." The goblin told them.

"Well at least I won't feel the need to jump his bones." Hadrian said with a smile to his family. Tom laughed and soon everyone, including the goblin, were laughing along with him.

"Will that be all?" The goblin asked.

"Has Dumbledore tried to take money from my account yet?" Hadrian asked.

"Yes in face he had, but he has not made any progress for it. We have told him we have shut down the Potter vault for a while, I suspected that you all have a plan in dealing with Harry Potter so it will remain closed until I hear from you again." The goblin told them.

"You have been so much help." Hadrian told the goblin.

"I know we goblins are not meant to favour clients, but you are something else, something special and I can't help but like you." The goblin said with a nice smile on his face.

"Well thank you, I have to say you are a lot nicer then some of the other goblins I have met. In fact I would like to ask you be moved to my accounts, as well as the Malfoy's. Obviously the goblin doing it is letting that old man steal my money, I would like you to be in charge from now on." Hadrian said.

"Thank you sir." The goblin said with a happy smile. "The head goblin has heard you as he hears everything in this bank, you will receive a letter if their has been a change." The goblin said to him.

Hadrian nodded his thanks before they all apparated away to the manor.
