Chapter Six
Frantically Kathreen searched around in the dark. She had tripped and now lost sight of Twilight and the torch. Panicking she started to run, farther into the ever enveloping darkness. Her thoughts ran in circles in the girl's head.
Tripping on a jagged rock, she fell downwards.
Splash!
Cool water surrounded the falling girl. Almost like a slap to the face, and legs. The only difference was this 'water' was very thick. But Kathreen pushed upward, an instinct to stay alive. Reaching the surface, she gasped for air. Something slimy weaved itself between the fear stricken girl. Looking down, the redhead saw a giant tail.
Looking back to the "shore" of this cave, Kathreen saw Twilight, motioning and saying something. But Kathreen couldn't hear her. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion as she was dragged under the surface by sharp teeth. They were attached to one of the blue-eyed girl's ankle. Unimaginable pain was pushing Kathreen to the line of unconsciousness.
Twilight also becoming panicked, hurriedly formed a sword, and dove into the poison filled Xol. Jumping in to the last spot she had seen Kathreen, she blindly stabbed around her. An ear piercing screech, followed by a body floating to the surface broke the fear of Twilight, she had to act fast.
Propelling herself upwards, she grabbed the limp body. Swimming to the surface, and to the shore, she flipped Kathreen on her back, and started pumping. The girl coughed and sputtered as the black marbled liquid came out of her mouth.
Twilight grabbed her canteen that was lying close by. Then, she entered the girl's mind. It was black, with a few specks of light. With Twilight's strength, Kathreen was able to regain slight consciousness. Making it possible for Twilight to imagine Ehtaerb. A drink that could cure poisoned Xol.
Then, she switched over to her normal self. Pouring the Xol, into the poisoned redhead's mouth.

"Asadior. I can't reach her. How is this possible!" Liveos roared.
"I'm not sure Sire. But you must remember, she has more powers than the regular shadow. Perhaps she's built up a mental wall?"
"Tell me again, how did she gain more power?" The dark Lord was completely terrifying now.
"Well. When the heavens decided where she would go, she was sent here because of how she died. But since she wasn't completely evil, they gave her a more unlimited power choice." Asadior explained. He didn't like having to face the darkness of the lead shadow's voice, but darkness he had swore his loyalty to.
"Of course." Liveos spat. "How could I forget."
Why did I ever choose to trust that being. I felt pity for her because she faced so much self hatred in her lifetime. And I knew that feeling. Yet she left me. No more shall I feel compassion for her. He thought bitterly.

Seirra stared out the window. The glass fogging up as she breathed. She was finally feeling the pain of her wounds, the bruised sides, the slashed back. The burnt skin. The burns weren't nearly as bad as Stargazer had feared for her. But she had been so close to the blast, Seirra still didn't know how she was still alive, but it didn't matter, as long as she was alive.
The mountains in the horizon are so beautiful at sunsup. It's a pity that Miss Sharp couldn't see it, the ice covering her heart would melt.
Kaden ventured up the stairs to Seirra's room. The biggest room in the whole of the magnificent castle. Tiles lined all over, on the walls and ceiling, creating pictures, and stories. Knocking on the dark umber wood door, he heard a quiet; "Come in."
Opening the door, Kaden found the queen staring out the biggest window. The window let the soft morning light seep in, illuminating Seirra. Turning around, the queen was surprised to see Kaden standing in the doorway.
"Oh! Kaden! It's you! I'm sorry, I thought you were a servant. Come in. Come in!" Seirra invited, pulling a chair made of something like slate.
It was very beautiful, and not heavy at all. Kaden gawked at its beauty before sitting down on it. Its touch was a cool smooth, with little rivets in it.
"This chair is amazing!" Kaden admired.
"Indeed. It's made of mountain slate. A very rare and fine stone."
Seirra nodded to Kaden. He was grinning like an idiot. Which was okay, he needed to smile more, he had to much pain in his heart, some of him was patched together, and other parts were needing bandages. And Seirra hoped that she could help bandage the parts he wanted help with.
"Will we ever go back to earth Seirra?" Kaden asked, becoming quite serious again.
"Nothing's for certain. I should hope we defeat Asadior, and then remain here."
"That would be amazing." Kaden said smiling again.
"It truly would." Seirra responded, a joyful expression lighting up her face.
Even just being in the same room as Kaden lightened her mood. He always had a funny personality, and she liked that he could make one smile on even the darkest of days, when all hope seemed lost. He was like a brother to her
Seirra always seemed to have a serious mood when Kaden was around, and he liked that about her. He always wished that he could be as confident as she was. She was happy when it was the right time, and always had empathy towards others. Something that he wished he could have. He only had sympathy.
Seirra was like a sister to him. And there was nothing in any world, that he wouldn't do to save her.

Kathreen woke up to darkness. Her head felt light, as if she was floating on clouds. Her first thought was; What kind of dream is this? Before she remembered that it wasn't just an abnormal dream. It was a twisted second reality.
"Twi?" Twi..... Twi..... Twi.....
Her question echoed. For a moment she wasn't sure if she was trapped in her own mind. Until a torch was lit and a soothing voice was heard.
"Hey Kat. It's me, Twilight." Her voice wasn't blunt as usual, it carried a soothing tone that was weird for Twi.
That's when Kathreen realized something was wrong. She only heard the torch fire. She didn't see any light. She couldn't see Twi. In fact, she couldn't see at all. Panic buttons flashed in her mind.
No! Why can't I see! What is wrong with me?!
"Twi?" Kathreen didn't trust her newfound voice. It held fear, and she didn't want anything else to change.
She was scared enough. How would she follow Twilight now? How could she escape the tunnels? How would she be able to go on living normally? The answer was she wouldn't. Nothing would be normal now. Or so she thought.
"Do you feel okay?"
"Yes."
"Well you can hear too. Uh, can you feel? Smell?" Twilight said in a worried voice.
"Yes. The only thing I can't do, is see." She muttered.
"I was too hopeful wasn't I?" Twi grumbled.
"I supp-"
"Well. That can be fixed. It'll just take a day. We need to keep moving though! Asadior and Liveos will find us at this rate."
Kathreen heard Twilight pacing back and forth. Then, she stopped, only for a few seconds, before pacing back and forth.
"I have it! I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner!" The shadow exclaimed, stopping. "Of course I could piggyback you. The tunnels are tall enough, and I won't grow weary!"
Twi then became serious. "Kathreen, try to sit up."
Kathreen did.
"Try to stand."
Kathreen almost toppled over. Her balance was unusually unsteady.
"Alright walk forward."
Kathreen walked forward until she felt the shadow's silk-feeling like cloak. She also felt Twilight lift her up with great ease. Then, she felt a rush of air as they entered into what she guessed was the tunnel, and she was correct, she could sense the closeness of the walls. It was unlike the big open cavern, but Kathreen couldn't figure out why.

Seirra and Kaden continued to talk until a midnight blue horse nosed her way in through the massive door.
"May I speak to Seirra?" She questioned looking to the eighteen year old.
"Yes? Stargazer, you're my friend. You don't need to ask."
"I'm sorry Seirra, I should've stated alone."
"Oh. That's okay. Do you mind Kaden?" The brown eyed girl asked.
"Of course Seirra!" Kaden said, nodding his head respectfully.
Seirra was glad nothing had changed between them. She hoped he would smile like that always.
As he left the room Stargazer turned to Seirra.
"Seirra, something is wrong. Only you were supposed to enter this word. No body else!" Stargazer snorted.
"But I don't suppose I was intended to be here the first time?"
"Well. You were called for, in a way. But I'll get to that later. Kaden couldn't have been called, something is WRONG, Seirra and I mean it." A wild look was in Stargazer's eyes.
"But what could possibly be wrong? If I was summoned, why couldn't have he?"
"Because your the creator. If most of this anyway. It should only have you..... Unless."
"Unless what? Tell me Stargazer!" Seirra demanded.
"Did you base a character off of Kaden?"
"Yes? Why?"
"That's how!" Stargazer swished her tail in excitement! "How did I not see it before?!"
"How what? What am I missing?" Seirra said, completely clueless.
"Because, you're the creator! You created some characters that were inspired by the people in your life! I think someone else you know came here. And I think it's Kathreen."
Seirra stared in shock. Kathreen and her hadn't seen each other in five years. An occasional letter, yes. But this was both good and bad news to her ears.
"We must find her quickly, before Asadior does."
"Yes, we must."
Then, Seirra remembered something....
"Well shoot. I based a bunch of characters off of real life people."
