I was so dull all of today. I went to school with Amber and Rose. Rose have the same class with Amber and I. I haven't gotten the chance to ask Amber about the locker issue. I was too busy trying to identify the vampires in the school. I kept looking at people critically to see any sign of longer and and shaped canines and fangs but I couldn't see anyone. We entered the class and sat down waiting for the Latin teacher to bring his butt in here. I spent the time looking at everyone in the classroom. Where are the vampires? Amber buried her face in a book looking at it absent mindedly. She stares at the same page for too long and I was convinced, she wasn't reading. She was just glaring at the letters in the book. Rose looked like she was in a yoga class. She looked like she was meditating and concentrating on an imaginary object. Other students did the same. Suddenly, Mr Norman entered. He started teaching and I continued with my job, I looked closely at him to see any too sharp protruding tooth but there was none.
 
After class, I went to the library for the first time since I came to school. I sat in silence as I brought out a novel. It was so big and as lazy as I am right now, I'm not sure I'll complete a chapter in hours. I opened the ancient book and stared at the words that stared back at me. A lot is going on in my mind right now. Amber is acting weird lately and Lara, I can't help but feel sad for her.
I put the ancient thing down on the shelf and walked around the library taking and tossing books.

I took another book without looking at the tittle. I skimmed through it preparing to put it back when my eyes caught the title. 'The Undead'. I was exactly happy to find this book. I don't know why but it looked like I was in the library because of it.

I sprinted to the chair when I heard a bell. What was that for? The students in the library put the books back and filed out. As stubborn as I was now, I sat down and opened the book.
"Leave the library. We've closed!" I heard a woman roar. I looked up and saw a lady standing there. I frowned and put the book down. I stared at the woman and the name on her name tag rang a bell. Gillian Anders.
She's literally the owner of the school. Yes, the daughter of the founder of the school.
I took one last glance at her and left the library. I must come back tomorrow and find that book.
"Hey, Hailey, where have you been?" I heard Amber's soprano voice. I turned and she was walking to me with a huge smile. Rose as usual had that uninterested look.
"I was in the library." I answered as she stopped by me while Rose ignored us and walked away.

         I dodged Latin class and went to the library the next morning. I'm not so lazy about my studies but being in the Latin class feels like a waste of time. I don't get anything in that class. From all the Latin class I've been to, I knew only two Latin words. I practically ran into the library and went directly to where I found the book. It was where I put it the last day. I grabbed it and sat down.

                 The undead is a creature that was dead but alive again due to some conditions. However, they don't have a soul and have no hope of dying again. They live as long as 1000 years and more. Vampires are undead. Vampires are not always harmful if you ask me. Some can be too nice and sweet. Not all vampires feed on human blood, some feed on mammals like mountain lions, deer and the like. They refer to themselves as 'vegetarians' some of these vampires are the Cullens and their kind.
     The Cullens headed by Dr. Carlisle Cullen were nice and lived among humans without harming them. They learned to control themselves around them. Meanwhile, the 'vegetarians' can go crazy at the sight of human blood.
         However newborn vampires can not refrain from human blood. Newborn vampires have red eyes which turns to amber and black later due to intake of blood. Newborn vampires can be created or given birth to by two vampires however the later part is uncommon. The created newborns aren't babies like the word suggest. They could be old but are recently created. A newborn is created by being bitten by a vampire. After being transformed, the stop aging and live for thousands of years.
             Characteristics of a vampire.
       Vampires though human are different from human in some unique ways.
  * Vampires have an unbelievable strength. They have the ability to crash and mash stones or hard objects with any part of their body. They have very smooth but very hard body.

"Young lady we are closing for lunch." I heard someone screamed. I practically jumped up and the book fell. It wasn't the same lady from yesterday.
I didn't have the courage to look at her name tag cos her face looks so scary with anger.
I put the book back and sped out of the library.

       The rest of the week sped off in a blur. I couldn't go back to the library cos I was too busy with class throughout the week. I tried dodging some classes but those teachers were too vigilant and overprotective.
Today was Saturday and we were supposed to go out of school and explore. What is there to explore? The forest? I still don't know why the principal thinks she's making us happy by allowing us to go outside the school and "explore". I mean schools that allow their students to go out are those built along railways and malls and such. But a gothic weird school shouldn't do things like this. It looks like an embarrassment.
After getting dressed and expecting Amber and her weirdo sister to do same, I glanced at Lara's bed and she was in there sleeping. I felt like tapping her to wake up but I'm not in for any of her tantrums this morning.
Amber was sitting on her chair looking outside the window with a weird expression. Shouldn't she be ready, I mean dressed for the so called "exploration"?
"Amber, aren't you coming?" I asked her and she turned smiling widely as usual.

"Sorry, you'll be alone today too. I'm going hiking with some friends" She said. Oh, of course. How could I forget? Her sunny day policy. She always dodge class, always not around on sunny days. She won't tell me why.

"Alright." I said and went away.

What's up guys? How's this chapter too? I really want to find out more about the vampires. It sound interesting. And that little theory about the undead was composed by me after reading and researching on them. And I picked some theories from Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Saga
The Cullens are from her story too. I must admit after reading that story, I wished I was a vampire, a Cullen. *laughs*. Never mind, I was just kidding.
