Upon bumping into the dorm, I heard murmurings. It was in a hush but a too curious and nosy person like me can hear what they are saying. The voices were so smooth and beautiful. I recognized Amber's soprano voice and I knew the second person will be her blood sucking sister, Rose.
"We're in a great trouble, you know that" I heard Rose hissed.
"What do you mean by that?" Amber asked.
"You've disclosed who we are to that bitch, isn't that trouble?" She hissed and I knew she was referring to me.
"I told you she's in my vision of the future. Moreover, Brandon is in love with her, I guess. She can't mention anything to a third person." Amber said as my heart beat faster at the mention of Brandon. What I'm not going to allow into my head right now is, Moreover, Brandon is in love with her, I guess.
"Oh won't she? It's amazing how you've developed some kind of weird trust in that girl. A human to be precise." Rose said.
"Aren't you listening? I can see her in my visions, Rose." Amber whined.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," Rose said and Amber groaned. I heard light footsteps coming towards the door so I quickly opened the door and came face to face with Rose. She was glaring hard at me, she always do anyway. I gave her way and she stomped out.
"Hey, you're back. So soon?" Amber asked the minute I entered the room.
"Yeah" I sighed and slumped myself on the bed.
"How did it go?" She asked.
"Um.... Er.... Pretty cool." I said and removed my shoes.
My stomach growled again and Amber laughed.
"Hailey, don't tell me you came back early cos you're hungry!"
She laughed at me and I couldn't keep the smile from my face anymore.
"Man, I'm dying of hunger." I said clutching my stomach as it growled.
"Coming," Amber smiled and walked outside.

I lied on the bed facing the ceiling, thinking of where to go and what to eat.
I'd decided on going to the restaurant just beside the school when Amber entered with a huge smile on her face. She was holding a carrier bag as she danced to my bed.
"See what I got you." She announced as she rested the bag in my hands and sat beside me.
I opened the bag and there lied a box with a fork beside it. There was a vanilla ice cream and pie. Gosh, how did she know my favorite? I opened the box and there lies spaghetti and meatballs.
"Amber, how do you know my favorite?" I squealed smiling happily and hugely at her.
"Oh my goodness, Amber! This is life!" I squealed as I threw my arms around her, regretting it instantly as her cold body made me shudder.
"Ouch" I laughed. All these while she was looking at me with she's–crazy eyes.

"Hailey, you love food!" Amber burst out laughing heavily as I took a big bite of my spaghetti. I took a meat ball and munched on it feeling the heavenly taste and enjoying it.
Without paying attention to her, I took another bigger bite as I chewed and nod to the sweetness I feel. Gosh, this is so freaking nice, so delicious.
"Human" Amber mused but that's the least of my worries right now.
Am I acting like a greedyguts? Yep, absolutely but that's the last thing I care about right now.
After having my snack of vanilla ice cream and pie, I belched heavily and shamelessly and looked over at Amber who crinkled her face with a huge grin.
"Ew" She smiled and I laughed.
"God, Amber thank you so damn much. You have no idea what you just did" I smiled at her and she laughed out loud.
"Really?" She asked nonchalantly. "Yeah, oh sorry for not inviting you. I was lost in the world of overly delicious food. Imagine eating that so delicious food when you feel so hungry you feel like eating yourself." I said.
"Eating yourself!" She exclaimed and I laughed.
"I'll have to adopt you as my vampire baby girl the moment you eat yourself." She said and I laughed.
Good Gracious God, today seems to be my happiest day since I stepped into this god forsaken school.

I lied on the bed smiling at the ceiling as I felt homesick. I can't wait to leave here! Let's pray I come back when school resumes. I turned my head and noticed Amber's eyes on me as she had a smug expression.
"What?! Why are you staring at me with that face? You want your food back? Sorry, it's down here." I teased but she didn't move an inch. I sat up and noticed that her features were still and rigid. She was so stiff and motionless.
She looked just like a statue.
"Amber?" I called but it looked like she isn't here, she isn't on earth. Maybe on a different planet. Her eyes are distant. She looked like she was looking at how the future will look like.
She looks so gorgeous. Smooth, pale skin, crimson glossy lips, dark, thick and long eyelashes, topaz eyes and black sleek hair that made a contrast with her pale skin.
But I was scared of how motionless she look.
"Amber?" I called a little too loudly but still she looked like there was no noise around.

"Amber?!" I called loudly as I lightly punched her arm and regretted it. Ouch! Is she a statue? Cos her skin is so rock hard! Weird creature. But she just got you food. My instincts accused.
"What?" She said snapping out of it.
"What's wrong with you? You're scaring me." I moaned and she laughed.
"What were you doing?" I asked her as she laughed silently to herself.
"Nothing, darling. Do you know who got you that food?" She asked to my surprise. I felt the food rising up and clutching my throat when I realise the food wasn't from her. I felt like puking on her! How could she watch me gulp everything down before she tells me?
"Who?" I whispered as I held my throat trying to avoid the food coming out anytime soon.
"Brandon." She sang as she rose her eyebrows with a smug smile on her face. Jesus, Amber you're a bitch!
"Oh nooooo!" I cried feigning pain and anger, kneeling on the floor and clutching my stomach as I avoid the joy that I felt knowing he cares about me. But how the hell did he know what I like best?!
"Come on hun, he doesn't want you to starve." She cooed. Go to hell, Amber! I thought and sat back on the bed smiling.

"You traitor." I smiled at her and she laughed.
I lied back on the bed when she walked out.
Today is a wonderful day so far! One, I met Brandon who some part of me was saying I was in love with. And literally, he loves me too. My proof? He bought me the yummy–est food since I came to this school and Amber "guess" he is in love with me.
But why then did I ran away from him? Simply cos I was scared. Scared of...... Scared of him!
I don't have any love histories but who runs away from someone they love? Ah well, I didn't ask him to be a vampire. Hailey! So if you love him, it means you're going to end up being with him all your life? I don't give a feck about that. But the problem is dad! My dad!

Will Mr. Austen give me permission to spend the rest of my life with a vampire? Hell to the no!
