When I woke up again, it was dark and everything was quiet.
I slept from 4 pm and when's the time now? I brought out my wrist watch and showed it to the moonlight that was entering the dorm. 10:56. I sighed and rolled out of bed. Surely, the lights are out again. I removed my jeans and the dress changing into my pajamas when I noticed, Lara was not in her bed. Where could she be? I sighed and sank in my bed closing the window. I was about to sleep again when I heard a whooshing sound. It was so loud and forceful. It sounded like it happened in the forest. Where the heck is Lara? She could keep me company.
Then another louder whoosh. It sounded for a second and everything became silent again.
What's that? Goose bumps filled my skin as my heart began beating so wild.
I knelt on my bed and opened the window. I wished I wasn't so curious.
I squinted into the darkness waiting to see whatever it is that was making the whooshing sound.
Then whoosh again. I quickly turned my heard to where the sound was from.
I was tired of kneeling for too long. It seems they won't pass again. What were they anyway? I was about to close the window when I saw something passed with that whooshing sound again. It passed with so much speed sweeping the wind with it. Some part of me said the creature looked like a human. I was shaking with fear as I closed the louvre blades and sank in my bed. My hands were sweaty and cold at the same time. They trembled and shook as I clenched my fist so tightly.
I felt like shouting for Lara to come back.

I closed my eyes tightly and covered myself with the blanket. I was sweating profusely but I couldn't make any move.

The sound of the siren woke me up. I opened my eyes and I was still covered with my blanket. Lines of sweat trickled down the nape of my neck as I sat up. I had a throbbing headache. It was difficult to believe that no one was jumping in there. Lara wasn't here still. What's wrong with her? I looked over at the two mystery beds. This time, the sheets were crumpled and the pillows looked like they were moved a bit. I went to take my bath ignoring the eyes staring at me. What do they even want?
When I went back to the dorm, Lara was there. She was brushing through her long blonde hair with a comb.

"Hey, did you sleep in the bush last night?" I asked her and she laughed. Is it funny? I didn't say anything so amusing, did I?
"Ah, obviously not. I slept in Katy and Cyndy's dorm. I'm sorry for leaving you" She smiled.
"It's fine." It's not anyway, but that's what you say when you're trying to be nice. It's definitely not fine. She left me to be haunted by whatever creatures that were making that stupid scary whooshing noise last night. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of creatures move in such a way. The scene played in my head haunting me.

"Hello, Hailey? Is everything okay up there?" I heard Lara said as she came to sit with me on my bed.
"Yeah, I -I'm fine." I said face palming.

I had to go around getting my schedules, my classrooms and all. I should have been in Lara's class but stupidly enough, I have only one class with her and that's on Fridays. My first class today was Biology. I walked towards my biology class, nervous and scared. What happens if everyone is in class and the tutor was already at work?

I sighed and climbed the stairs to my class.
'Great, Hailey, you're not lucky.' I mused when I heard the voice of a teacher in my class.
I breathed in and out before opening the door to the class.
I walked silently into the class with my books clutched safely against my chest.
I looked around the class as I sat down.
After, heaving a sigh of relief, I dropped my books and concentrated on the owner of the ringing voice.
Really, I need to know which part of the world I am now.
The teacher was a lady. She's as white as snow but she has a long smooth brown hair. Her heart shaped face was so smooth and spotless. She looked too pretty it looked like she was the source of light in the room.
Many other students looked like her, pretty, pale and smooth skinned. I suggest they have ringing voice too.
I sighed and waited impatiently for the last bell to ring so I can go back to the dorm.

I met Lara and her friends in the cafeteria.
We sat eating when two girls entered the cafeteria. I suggest they were the same girls that followed the white bronze haired boy into the class during Private studies.
I dropped my fork and concentrated on their movement. I really want to know how they're able to walk so smoothly and gracefully.
Then I heard Lara and her friends whispering in a hush.

"The whole thing is scary." I heard Katy hushed.
What's scary?
"She's in the sick bay, as if that will solve anything" Cyndy said rolling her eyes.
Lara kept avoiding me all through lunch.
After my last class which was Literature, I rushed to the dorm so I could approach Lara and see why she's avoiding me. It's been only three days since I came to this school. She can't get fed up of me just so soon.

When I got to the dorm, she wasn't there. I groaned and threw my books on the bed.
I rushed out to Cyndy's dorm cos that's her second dorm.
I opened the door without a knock and the kind of look that welcomed me was so deadly, I felt like screaming.
"Haven't you heard of manners?" A certain blonde said.
'Shut up!' I roared in my head.
I closed the door behind me and headed back to the dorm.
What's Lara keeping from me? What's so scary?
And why are they giving the white girls from the cafeteria such a look?
