Here is chapter 9! Hope you enjoy it!

Out of the blue wall came 5 objects moving as the wall disappeared, all heading towards Earth. Only, they were not comets, but were spaceships! They were light grey, hexagon shaped, the front sloping at an angle up and down to meet in the centre, where there were a bunch of aerials and antennas, a large bunch of glass windows above it, and on the flagship in the centre, above that was a large circular window two fins side by side at the top and bottom at the back, with blue engines at the back, arranged in a W, three ships in a line in the lead, and two more ships in a second line below. Earths satellites were starting to detect them, relaying the footage of them coming down to Earth, and in a few minutes, confusion, shock, and fear would start spreading through the worlds space and then, also military facilities as the word began to spread through phones calls like wildfire.

Suddenly all that pandemonium came to an abrupt halt when all their screens went blank with static. In the care home basement, they group were staring in silence when the TV suddenly came on with light, making them all jump as they all looked at it as a voice spoke, saying what was being shown on the screen light grey filled in with massive white letters as a scrolling bar. "YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE." It said and spoke in a clear voice, repeating over and over again. In that moment, the whole world was seeing/listening to the same thing. It was showing on every TV, phone, radio (car or unit), computer in the world! Translated into every language, everyone on Earth was watching it. Every screen in Times Square displayed the same thing. Children held their game grips in their hands, watching the broadcast on the screen. The crowds of every sports stadium had their eyes on the screens, the voice playing on the PA, the game on the field stopped.

Suddenly the screen changed to a dark grey and had two wavy light grey lines that moved up and down as another voice spoke. It was Hotspur's. "We are the Weren. My name is Hotspur Lupin." Flasheart growled upon hearing the voice. "We come from a world far from yours. We have travelled across the stars to reach you. For some time now, your planet has been in possession of one of our most sacred objects. One of our own has been dispatched to retrieve it. For reasons unknown, he has failed in his objective." Sara then looked at Freddy, who was looking at the ring on Flasheart's hand, glowing dislike the light from the screen. "It is believed he will have made efforts to blend in. He will look like you, ...but he is not one of you." Paul and Jai both looked at Freddy, who looked over his right shoulder at them, his face filled with shame and guilt, as Flasheart lifted up his hand to show the ring, gesturing with his other index finger at it, his eyes pointing downwards for a second. "Grand growler." Rick's voice suddenly spoke. "How dare you interrupt?" Hotspurs voice hissed angrily. "We've located him! We have his location!" Rick's voice explained frantically. "Show it." Hotspur ordered, his voice a lot more calmer. The screen then changed to a picture of Planet Earth,  (circular)with the lines of latitude, The circle rotating to come around upon Western Europe, zooming in at the UK, down to the South West, above Bristol and then stopped above a certain area, a bunch of coordinates then appeared, latitude and longitude from the North of the Equator. "That's right here, guys! We're dead! We are wanted fugitives now!" Paul yelled out frantically as all those present's eyes widened..

"We humbly ask for your cooperation so that this individual maybe be found and the object returned to us. You have 24 hours. Pick him up at these coordinates. And just to show I'm serious, let me bestow upon you all the cold feeling of powerlessness!" Hotspur roared. While that has been happening, Around the world as soon as the broadcast began, at all Nuclear missile launch sites (the computers systems screens were also displaying the broadcast), the computers were causing every missile silos door to open, the missile launching up. The personal could do nothing but watch. In every missile carrying submarine, (the broadcast having been played on the ships radio and comms), all missile doors were being opened one by one on both sides, the missiles then launched one by one. The crew were helpless. All the missiles kept going up and up, until they reached into space, their fires stopping as they began to drift. Once they reached space, the lead ships then opened small circular doors on the bottom of their hulls, revealing laser cannons. The cannons then shone white for a moment, before firing a white laser at the nearest missiles, surrounding them in a ball of white, an small explosion happening within the ball, disintegrating the missile, beams also spreading from this missile to the next and surrounding all the missiles in the group. The spreading out of the beams also went around the Earth, until after a few minutes, every nuclear missile was adrift in space and was then destroyed. The broadcast had changed to display the live feed from the flagship, showing it all for the world to see. And for some who were unsure about what just happened, The militaries would soon confirm it. 

In the basement, all eyes were on the screen. "Did that just happen?" Jai asked weakly. "Oh, yes, it happened, all right. And I have a strong feeling that's just the opening act." Flasheart answered nervously. "They want me. Let them come." Freddy spoke as he turned around leftwards, walked over to the steps and went up them, went to the nearest table and chair and sat down in the chair by it. Back down in the basement, everyone was staring at the staircase, total silence for just a few seconds."By the way, why don't we give you... a little persuasion? Give you a glimpse of the power my race has over yours! Send down the troops! Scour for suitable military targets!" Hotspur then spoke, making everyone look back at the screen to see a hanger door open on the ship, a vehicle speeding out of it towards Earth.
