Chapter 2 (a)
I was scrolling my instagram update. There wasn't any update about about Sameer from the last time we talk which was before the first of my school. He didn't replied to my text on the other. And the worst thing is I can't text him often. I don't want to embarrass myself in front of my crush.
Scrolling on Instagram went for an hour when suddenly a post popped up. It was from @i.m*sameer.

(this pic is created from a social prank app)
And it already had 500 likes in a matter of a minute. Sometimes it amaze how a 17 year old boy who just posts faceless pic with guitar have this great fan following. Maybe it's his skill or voice.
His post brought a smile to me. It was like, giving life to my lifeless soul. His mere presence in the world gives me this kind of happiness it's like euphoric.
I stare at the post for many time which made me realize that it wasn't his guitar. And I know the owner of it. I immediately clicked to the comment. Most of the comments were there praising him for new guitar. Soon I found out what I was hoping for not to be found.

I knew it was Gulshan's, my only.........friend. She knew how crazy I'm about him.
I like his post and threw my phone on bed and screen went off, timer.
*********
It was Saturday and we were sitting in the living room watching Avenger. It's Yazan bhai's plan to watch a fiction movie every Saturday to ease our stressful week.
"Bhai, Let's go to park tomorrow." Aliya suggested.
"Ok. Let's plan picnic tomorrow." And like a good elder brother he agreed to her.
I was trying to stay focused on screen.
"Jiya, you are going to join us." He said more like ordering. I wasn't expecting them to include me, a silent person.
"I don't think......." My phone started ringing. "Excuse me." I came to my room.
"Hello!"
"Ajiya, are you preparing for the party?" It was Vasam.
"Cool down. What's there to prepare?"
"Have you never been to party?" This question was simple but more than enough to haunt me for all night. "Ajiya...... Are you there?" I compose myself to answer back.
"No, I've never went to party before."
"See my prediction was right. Looking at her anyone can say she isn't a social girl......" He is talking to someone else now as I can hear other person voice too.
I was standing near the railing of the balcony. The first thing I can see in the room from here is a rectangular 6 feet mirror standing beside the bed and my reflection on it.
A girl in a salwar kameez and duppatta covering her chest in a decent manner. No make up or lip balm, hair tied in braid. Is this really me? A 17 year old girl looking like she is in her 30's.
"Ajiyaaaaaaa." Vasam's loud voice brought me back.
"Ye...Yes."
"Huh! Let's go for shopping tomorrow Angela will join you."
"Ok." I know I have to agree if I want to overcome.
We agreed to meet at 10 in the morning. I was sitting on the desk with the invitation card in my hand. The date is of tomorrow. Sunday night.
"Life is giving me one more chance to change myself and I'm not going to loose it."
I told Yazan bhai about my plans on Sunday and apologized for not being able to be there on picnic. Something more hard was waiting for me.....to get permission from Ammi.

THIRD POV
"Ajiya, try this." Angela gave her a one piece knee length. She kept staring at the dress for some moment then turned her head toward Vasam who was looking at her expressionless.
Ajiya's eyes were pleading him for help. Even though she didn't knew why she was looking at him instead of disagreeing with Angela.
He came to her and took that dress from her and handed her one of the dress from the pile of dresses he'd selected.
"Try this before." He gave an assuring smile to her.
She went inside the changing room. The dress was a jeans and short full sleeves loose shirt. She felt her body freezing as soon as she imagined herself in jeans. The dress which was never her priority as from childhood all she knew was a girl should wear something that covers her and for the family it was Salwar kameez... But none ever told her why she needs to wear that even when jeans is also something that covers her body how salwar kameez did.
Tangled in her thoughts she changed her dress and came out of the changing room. Angela and Vasam were not there and were able to be seen far away too. She leaned on the wall next to her while waiting for them.
"Clink!"
Sound of something breaking was heard, she turned to that direction.
"That messy boy." She sighed. "Maybe causing trouble again."
"Vasam just stop it. Just freaking stop it. She can't dictate my life."
"She cares about you."
Hearing Vasam's name and voice she ran in that direction. The noise was coming from behind the second rack from the changing room.
"If the school would have accepted me as an orphan you guys would have never known who am I." That messy guy held his hand up, about to slap Vasam. Ajiya immediately held his hand and pushed him away making him stumble over the stack of cartoons. The situation left both the boys in shock.
"Shaad, are you fine?" Vasam ram to him and helped him standing up. As soon as he stood up he jerked Vasam away.
"Leave me." Shaad went straight to her and grabbed her wrist. Twisting and moving it to her back. Ajiya tried pushing him by her one hand and soon found herself thrown on the floor. Shaad took strides toward her. And she kept crawling away with tears streaming down on her cheeks.
"No.....don't.......please don't........ I'm not at the fault please." She kept crawling back even though Shaad stopped moving toward her.
"Shaad, you're scaring her." Vasam pulled him to face him.
"How did she dare to push me?" His eyes were red.
"Isn't this your daily routine....? getting thrown? beaten? fighting?... " Vasam parted his lips to say something but Ajiya caught his attention. He left Shaad and ran to her.
"Ajiya." She was lying there. Unconscious.
"What happened to her?"
"What should we do now?" Vasam ignored Shaad's query.
"Let's move out of this shop first." Vasam tried pulling her up and failed terribly. Shaad took her from him and stood up holding her as if she is leaning to him. He messed her hair and covered her face with it. Vasam just let him do whatever he was doing.
"Get her things." Vasam nodded and left to the changing room.
While moving out many stared at them and many passed comments.
"Hey boy! This cloth comes from money." The shopkeeper stopped him as soon as he held the door of exit.
"Here it is." Vasam came to them giving his card.
While making receipt the shopkeeper kept sneaking glance of Ajiya, who was leaning on Shaad's shoulder and his hand was on her waist. Shaad felt his gaze doubtful.
"Clingy girlfriend!" His two words made people around him laugh.
**********
"Where am I?" She questioned herself.
"In heaven."
"Does heaven looks like this?"
