"You did what now?" I sigh, explaining it again.

"He kept saying sorry, and we were going nowhere, so I got his gun and shot him. I won the game. Easy peasy." I reply.

"Which is why you have a stuffed panda from Logan." Alaine says.

"It wasn't from him! He wouldn't shut up, and one of us had to win either way,"

"Uh huh. We both know that Logan had the choice to NOT give the weapon to you, but you ended up doing it."

"Either way, I won, I got a panda, and that's it."

"And by the way, I may or may not have told Logan that you're hell bent on not forgiving him today." Alaine said with a smirk.

"YOU WHAT?!" I hissed.

"Relax, there was also a chance that I didn't."

"Please, everyone knows that means you DID do it,"

"Well, that'll just make things more challenging for you. The both of you. The boy is determined on making the girl forgive him, while the other is focused on not accepting the apology at all,"

"I hate you." I say, monotone.

"I love you too, Cass! And I'm wondering as to how far he'll go just for forgiveness."

After the zip line which I very much enjoyed, Alaine took us to this amusement park in front of the place we were staying in. Apparently, there's an amusement park in front, and we've all got tickets pre bought. Huh.

We wait for a moment as Logan leaves Alyssa in the playground, where she immediately fell in love with a unicorn toy in the room.

As my wishes have been granted, we ride the roller coaster first. Fall and her minions don't bother coming along, and Alaine says she didn't feel like riding one today. I immediately took the two front seats, and sprawled my legs over when I saw Gavin and Logan wanting to take the seat next to me.

So, they opted to sit behind me. Weirdos.

"You don't seem to look afraid, Cass." Gavin says, playing with my braid Alaine had just fixed earlier.

"Duh, roller coasters are life. You only live once,"

"You really aren't like other girls. I can't belive you still manage to wear dresses and bows and still be badass," complimented Gavin. I smiled, and noticed Logan visibly stiffening and frowning.

Moody child.

The ride starts and I'm screaming and yelling and laughing all at once, I'm still smiling and I'm sure my hair is a mess. I see Gavin matching my pace, but Logan suddenly pokes my waist and talks to me.

"What now, Chase?" I ask.

"I'm sorry Cass! Please be civilized with me already!" he pleads.

"No."

"Hey dude, knock it off. If she says no, try and respect that." I jump at the voice, only to find Gavin next to me. His jaw is clenched and his kind brown eyes are shooting lasers. Logan mirrors his expression.

I hate testosterone.

Alaine thankfully steals me from the dog fight and links our arms. "Well, someone's still desperate for the attention of a particular person," she teases.

"Oh shut up, this will be totally fun."

"We're riding the ferris wheel next by the way."

"The ferris wheel? But those are so boring! It's so slow and --"

"Undoubtedly romantic!" she squeaks happily. I roll my eyes.

"Have you even rode one of those?" she asks.

"Of course not. It's a waste of time." I respond.

"No it's not! Now c'mon, let's test lover boy's determination." she scampers to the entrance, dragging me along.

I observe the ferris wheel, and see that it's one of those air conditioned cubicles and glass so you can see the whole view. It may not be too exciting, but I guess that the view is bound to look spectacular.

"Let's ride together?" I ask, hoping she'll say yes and not ditch me to run off with Jack.

"Uh huh. . . no I don't think so," she replies, walking away. I feel a strong arm encircle my wrist, and I see Logan right next to me.

"What? No, no, no, I am not going to stay with you on a ferris wheel!" I exclaim.

"Shut up, princess. We're already here."

"Um, excuse me, this guy is kidnapping me, I barely know him!" I complain to the ticket collector. He barely spared a glance in my direction. I was sure the daft worker could hear me.

"Logan, if you don't let go right now, I am going to scream as loud as I can." I threaten. He ignores me, tightening his hand and smirking at me.

"I'm giving you three seconds, idiot." I say. He even has the nerve to wink at me. Annoying, little kid.

"One."

"Two."

"Three." I open my mouth as a squeak errupts, but my voice is muted as Logan kisses me on the cheek. My eyes widen in shock and I can barely move. Or blink.

"You can continue screaming." he replies smugly, an amused glint in those pretty little eyes of his.

I am rooted to the ground, but Logan whispers something to the ticket guy collector.

"Kid, ten dollars?" the worker asks. Logan mumbles something I can't comprehend.

"Okay, twenty dollars, for ten minutes. Be sure none of my bosses hear about this," he declares grimly. Logan all but flashes his pretty boy smile.

What in the world did he tell that dude?

I follow Logan briskly inside the compartment. I make myself comfortable, spreading my legs across the seat, next to Logan. I stare blankly out of the window, as the people and buildings slowly disintegrate into nothing.

"Cass." he calls eerily.

"If you're going to say sorry again, I'm pretty sure you know my response."

I slump into my chair, avoiding eye contact.

He starts jumping in his seat and rocking the cart back and fourth. Crap, I do not want to die, especially when I can see that we're so high up.

"Logan!" I hiss. He doesn't listen and continues rocking the cart.

"Stop it right now or I won't ever forgive you!" I say, but that doesn't work either. He knows I couldn't be serious.

That's when I hear a sound and suddenly the ferris wheel comes to a halt, and we're at the highest peak of the ride. Oh god. Oh god.

"What just happened?" I ask softly.

"The ride stopped, princess. It's that simple, and it looks like we're at the tallest peak."

Logan rocks the seats again, until I frantically sit up straight and end up holding his hands in panic. He isn't ashamed of smirking triumphantly, like he's finally got the result he wanted. I detangle my hands when he stops.

"Seriously. Why won't you forgive me?" he asks.

"Because I don't want to!"

"Yeah, princess, like you haven't been talking with me the whole day."

"Too bad, because I'm still not officially forgiving you," I say. Logan only smiles and transfers from across me, to right next to me. He imitates my position from earlier, legs sprawled in front, and positions his head on the crook of my shoulder.

I can't explain the swarm of butterflies multiplying second by second. Here it is again, this whole phenomenon that only happens when he's around.

I almost transfer in front, but he spreads his other leg to the left so I'm basically trapped next to him.

I zip my mouth shooing him away with my elbow and leaning next to the window. The view was really pretty, and even if I wasn't accepting Logan's apology yet, this seemed. . . magical. Too good to be true, even. I've been stuck with him the whole day. I think I'm doing pretty good.

That is, until, Logan snatches my backpack and steals my phone, silently taking selfies with me.

"Hey, what's your password by the way?" he asks.

"Yeah, like I'm going to tell you."

"Hmm is it 1234?" he asked, followed by the familiar unlocking 'click' sound of my phone.

I really need to change my phone's password. Immediately.

"Logan! Give it back!" I hiss, as he hides the phone, at the same time tickles me so I end up sprawled across him, and only then do I notice the close proximity of our faces.

I need an oxygen tank. I can't do this anymore.

His hands find their way around my back and my hands magically around his neck. His lips are edging closer and closer, as I'm melting in those orbs of endless cobalt. This boy will be the death of me, I'm sure of it. I'm surprised that I'm still glued in front of him, but an invisible magnet is pushing me closer and closer, until --

"Time's up! Twenty dollars!" I jump off Logan like I was electrocuted, startled by the voice, which belongs to the staff member. How embarrassing. That was definitely not what it looked like. I glance at Logan, affixed with his classic, triumphant smirk, always getting me to play by his games, not a hint of shame in his eyes.

He pays the man briefly, and continues to walk next to me.

"Why'd you give him twenty dollars?" I ask.

"He was in desperate need of cash. So like the good citizen I was, I paid him."

"I am not falling for that trick. You're up to something. And I'm still not accepting your apology."
