In Remnant a hundred miles away from Beacon, team CFVY and second years of Beacon were tracking down Grimm with professor Port.

Port: "As I was saying, students. The creatures of Grimm are known to thrive in this forest and it is our jobs as Huntsmen."

A few of the female students cough into their hands, catching the teacher.

Port: "And huntresses to find these creatures. As you are all aware a few clicks from here is the small town, very remote and often need the help of our students."

One of the students, a first-year was walking in the back of the crowd. Out of the twenty total students, he was the only first-year allowed on this trip.

Y/N: "Speaking of towns... Why is it in such a remote region of Vale. We're right next to Mountain Glenn, aren't we?"

A few of the second years' groan at the first year's comment. However, professor Port merely smiled as he marched on.

Port: "You are correct. We're not far from Mountain Glenn. Good eye Mr. L/N however, I'd prefer it if we focused on the task at hand."

Y/N nods and Port nods along, as he finds the outskirts of the old city and turns to his students.

Port: "Now the teams here have proven their effectiveness, on the field of battle. For some, this will be your first time, for others this will be your fifth or sixth time no doubt. But your assignment is as followed."

Port clicks a few buttons on his scroll, just as the students get a quick message.

Port: "Your goal for today is to find any Grimm and eradicate them immediately... If you feel you are outnumbered. Please do not hesitate to use the flare you were all handed on the bullhead here. Please remember to pair up and remember we meet up at the town at 10 tonight. However, there are checkpoints where you will meet up with other teams along the way. Now then, I expect you all to act the part of students of Beacon and do your very best out there."

With that the students pair up, leaving CFVY and Y/N the only ones not paired with anyone.

Velvet: "Y/N!"

Velvet had turned to the young man, his hood still up and staring up at the trees. But when he heard his name called, she takes a picture of him and smiles showing a polaroid picture of the young man.

However, Coco soon took up the leader roll calling everyone together. Quickly lifting her glasses then turning to their new member for the day.

Coco: "Alright, I don't need to tell you guys were here for the town down below. That being said, you also know your positions and your jobs. Just watch us rookie and try to pick up a few things... OK."

Coco clicks her fingers and without a single word, her team enters the dark forest. With Y/n following closely beside Velvet.

Slowly the team enters the forest, everyone drawing their arms ready for a fight. Minutes go by, suddenly a scream of a crow deep in the forest, the constant hark and caw... drowned out any noise or life in the forest.

Coco: "Well that's new..."

Velvet and Yatsuhashi giggle for a moment, while Fox and Y/N stare out into the distance the two of them turned in opposite directions of the other, then sniffed the air.

Y/N: "You can sense it too?"

Fox nods and everyone turns to the two, as they look to the sky for a moment. The glare of the sun was the only thing anyone could see, but when Fox raised his right arm and fired his gauntlet.

Y/N grabbed Coco's shoulder and moved her to the side as three small bird-like Grimm plummet to the ground where Coco stood. The girl simply chuckled and slapped Y/N's back, as she walked off.

Coco: "My hero!"

She said with a sarcastic tone, making both Fox and Yatsuhashi let out a little chuckle as Velvet looks the other way, not sure what to say. However, Y/N simply shrugged his shoulders and looked back at the track they were taking.

Y/N: "Hero... Whatever you say I suppose."

Coco: "Why too good for you."

Y/N: "Hero... I don't know doesn't sound right to me to be called a hero after the merciless battle. I'd prefer a king."

The comment made the group stare at Y/N once more, as he chuckles along turning back to his friends.

Y/N: "What, too much?"

[Time Skip]

Y/N scanned the road along with Fox since the two were able to spot the Grimm. Before any of the others could. Soon enough an hour took, as they continued to walk on down the trail's path. Walking over fallen trees, passing some brush and finding a small stream of water.

Which is where the teams rested on the water's edge, Coco and Velvet sat on a rock as they rest their feet in the stream, Yatsuhashi rested beside a tree as he dozes off. While Fox and Y/N finally appear behind a thicket.

Coco: "Anything?"

Fox rocked his head and Y/N stroked his chin.

Y/N: "Is this... Common?"

Coco rose and picked up her weapon, already kicking Yatsuhashi up. While Velvet put on her very own shoes on, then packing up their lunch.

Coco: "Wait for another team..." Coco titled her head to the side and shrugged her shoulders. "It's not often, but we got here early so it was possible."

Velvet turned to the group and her ears started lower, as her face started to show an announce of fear.

Velvet: "This isn't like them... Team MASK are always on time, maybe we should."

Coco grasped Velvet's shoulder and brings her glasses down. So they both could now look into each other's eyes.

Coco: "Well find them Velvet, I promise. But you need to stay calm Magnolia can handle a few Grimm."

Velvet nods and glances up, with a new sense of energy on her face.

Velvet: "Right, right... I'm calm, I'm calm as the wind."

Y/N turned to Fox, whispering over to him.

Y/N: "Until that clam wind. Becomes a hurricane, then we might need to run."

This made Fox, break out laughing and even Velvet did the same letting out a little laugh, while Coco turns to Y/N. Studying her new team member.

Coco: "When did the talk dark and scary creature, turn into a wise-ass cracker?"

Y/N shrugged his shoulders, not bothered by what Coco said. Then turned to the large hulking trees that hung overhead.

Y/N: "I'm going to have a look above, maybe I'll find some tracks near the South."

Yatsuhashi: "Where they came from, didn't you two check before?"

Y/N: "We did, but this time I'll get a bird's eye view. Maybe find something that we didn't see before. We're all still linked by scroll right?"

Coco nods and Y/N runs up a tree then starts jumping from tree to tree like it was a dance. While the group watches at him perform. Coco watched him disappear and slowly whistle impressed. As one of her arms rested on her hip.

Coco: "Well done Velvet, I'm a little jealous that I didn't get to call dibs."

Velvet flushed and the boys bellowed out a laugh, as Coco leads them through the forest.

Mean, while with Y/N he had leaped from one last tree and slowly climbed up the largest tree in the entire forest. Then stood on the branch then awakened his Eagle Vision, taking notes of the lay of the land, it was a massive Oak forest and the sight from up hear proved more useful than he thought.

Now he was able to spot animals, trees, the smell of a fire and even a few Grimm. But they were too far off to cause any problem here.

Y/N: "That's not right... A campfire outside of a town while Grimm are running around?"

Without even missing a beat, Y/N pulled out his scroll and called it in. However, Coco was the first to speak.

Coco: "Nothing... Well don't worry, it happens to the best of us?"

Y/N raised an eyebrow to that comment and spoke up

Y/N: "I found something, head southeast of your location."

Velvet: "You found them!?"

Y/N took a breath and shook his head, as he spoke up trying to not to lead Velvet down a dark road.

Y/N: "I don't know... Spotted a campfire and maybe tracks. But I can't tell from here."

Coco: "How far?", maybe a mile or two away."

Coco turns to her team and nods.

Coco: "Meet us their now, we're going to make it a run."

Y/N nodded, about to leap. But heard a scream and dropped down from the branch as an eagle-like Grimm struck the branch he sat on. The creature comes back around focusing on Y/N and screams out going for another dive.

Y/N: "You are very angry..."

Y/N stepped back slowly walking over to the truck of the tree, as he ducks missing another slash of the creature's talons, then watches it come back around. Then stares down its attacker, but as it reaches out with its talons.

Y/N jumped to the side and the eagle digs its talons into the tree of the trunk, stopping the creature dead in its tracks. Y/N steps onto the branch again, grabbing the creature by its beak and raises its neck.

Y/N: "Sorry, little one."

He stabbed the blade into the Grimms neck and placed it on the branch, then leaped off his branch and ran on top of another. As he made his way to team CFVY.

Minutes go by and when Y/N catches Velvet's ears down below on the floor. He leaps from his branch diving down to the group, as he rolls and jumps to his feet.

The move made most of them who were searching the camp turn back to see him appear out of nowhere, except for Velvet. Who was simply studying him?

Velvet: "How? When? I didn't even hear you!?"

Y/N chuckled and turned to the camp, it was large than he thought. Before he only saw a campfire and maybe some debris. But now he found a cast iron pot tipped over, three bags appearing to have camping gear.

A man, woman, and a little girl, thanks to the color of two pink and dark blue bags. Even more so, was the tent... Y/N couldn't see the tent and now. Standing right in front of the destroyed tent, he could understand why.

The tent could barely be called a tent, it appeared more like lean too now, than anything else since it mostly hung on the tree's branch now. Yatsuhashi took up a fight stance pulling out his sword ready to strike, while Fox kept on walking around the camp trying to find any signs of what happened here. Velvet stood on the opposite end raising her fists ready to fight. But Coco was the only one who was studying the camp alongside Y/N, she had leaned down picking up a hunters knife.

Coco: "Must've been a few hours ago... Wonder what happened to them?"

Y/N bent near the packs and then to the tent.

Y/N: "I'm thinking... Whatever happened here, must've been recently and the family was scared."

Velvet: "No blood at least, so it means they got away."

Coco nods, but Y/N remained silent as he found a weapon. It was a hunting rifle and the muzzle was bent to a ninety-degree angle, and there was blood on it. But it wasn't from the nozzle.

Y/N: 'Bullet must've ricochet and destroyed the nozzle... Lucky the guy didn't lose a hand and only damaged his hand.

Y/N picked up the weapon, grabbing it by the base and finding the base of the weapon where the bullet came out of. Coco studied Y/N for a moment and then handed it to her.

Y/N: "Whoever fired this weapon was too scared to even realize it was bent when he fired the second shot. Well, it must've hit shoulder or something."

Coco glances at the gun then at Y/N, as she throws the weapon aside.

Coco: "Who would be so scared to reload this thing?"

Y/N: "I don't know..."

Velvet: "Maybe, they were so scared they didn't even notice?"

Y/N and Coco stared at each other and both turned to Velvet, who was flushed unsure what to say or do. However, they heard a snap of fingers and everyone turned to Fox.

He was kneeling as one of his hand rested on something when the group sprinted over to them. Only then did they understand why it was foot print and it was unlike the Grimm or family that was here. It was the boot print of a male, followed by three other different footprints.

Velvet: "They were here!"

Fox nods and Y/N knelt studying the prints.

Yatsuhashi: "How old?"

Y/N: "I don't know... But it can't be older than three or two hours."

Fox nods and Coco pushes back her glasses.

Coco: "We can't wait anymore, lead the way you two."

The two nods and race off with the team following closely behind, ever so often they would have to stop to find the tracks again. One moment there as plain as day, next it, become near impossible to spot.

Coco: "What's wrong?"

Y/N: "Fox, you notice it right?"

Fox nods and Velvet speaks up.

Velvet: "Notice what?"

Coco: "It's alright Velvet, we'll find them."

Velvet: "But... We... I'm..."

Fox: [Don't worry...]

The group turns to Fox, it wasn't often he spoke. He didn't say a word, Fox's semblance is telepathy. It's often how he finds his way around the world, being as blind as a bat.

Velvet stopped and embraced Fox as he taps her back telling her everything will be alright, while Coco pulls Y/N aside and pinning him against a tree.

Coco: "What's going on!?"

Y/N took a deep breath and turned to Coco.

Y/N: "Alright, let's pretend for a moment you're not trained huntress. But are a normal citizen and are scared out of your mind."

Coco: "What's your point we know that!?"

Y/N: "Fox and I noticed something a while back. Now I'm not too sure what to make of it. Just, it doesn't make sense to me? One moment, this group is running like their life depends on it and then... They start strolling along as if nothing happened."

Coco raised an eyebrow.

Coco: "What?"

Y/N: "That's what we said... Weirdest thing, the tracks which were once seven distinct footprints are now two.

Coco: "Something is off..."

Y/N: 'Yeah, that's what we've been saying."

Coco: "But are you sure?"

Y/N gazed at Coco and slowly nodded demonstrating his point.

Y/N: "I'm, VERY sure."

Coco fixes a strand of her hair to the side and starts walking back and forth, while Y/N leans against the tree in thought.

Y/N: "People don't just vanish... "

Coco nods and peers up at the forest brush, noticing the trees and dense forest.

Coco: "There is no opening for an airship to land."

Y/N: "No tracks for a car or a bike to come in here... We would've noticed it."

Coco: "We're missing... Something."

The two leaders looked at each other as they throw back a few ideas. While their teammates look at them go back and forth. Coco suddenly clicked her fingers and turned to Y/N

Coco: "What if... No, it wouldn't work."

Y/N: "What?"

Coco: "What if they were trained. Think about it for a moment, that could explain why they stopped running."

Y/N nods and shakes his head following the last of the tracks.

Y/N: "Except, that doesn't explain the vanishing act... Or why they were running in the first place?"

At that moment Velvet spoke up.

Velvet: "We found blood!!!"

The group ran over to Velvet and Fox as the two of them stare, at a small pool of blood. Right beside a boulder, however, what was strange was the blood was coming out of the rock.

Coco: "That's... New."

Velvet: "How is it doing that?"

Fox tapped the stone for a moment and Y/N already knew by the sound of the rock, that this wasn't simply a rock. He placed his right foot on the base of the boulder and pushed it aside revealing a wooden panel where the boulder was placed, a small trail of blood was leading inside panel and the unmistakable footprint of the beacon student.

Y/N: "A secret door?"

Fox: "Awesome..."

The group turns to Fox as he shrugs his shoulders not caring what any of them think.

Yatsuhashi: "How didn't we see that?"

Y/N: "They probably had a counterweight somewhere... So when we enter the base, the rock will move over the panel again."

Fox: "Who's first?"

Coco raised her foot and bashed it against the panel destroying, allowing them to peer inside and to see a small tunnel. Big enough for even Yatsuhashi to walk in without even crouching.

Fox leaps into the darkness and Y/N follows through along Coco, Velvet, and Yatsuhashi. Velvet pulled out a light and looked around the little mine shaft.

Velvet: "Did the town mine ore or something?"

Coco shook her head, not having an answer, however Y/N spoke up.

Y/N: "We are close to Mountain Glenn, this could've been a tunnel linking the town to the destroyed city. They were probably going to make train tracks linking the towns together."

Coco: "What happened then?"

Y/N: "It was a massacre... A lot of people died, their was a last-ditch effort to save some of the people, they buried themselves and... Lived in the tunnels for a few years, Grimm found a way in at the end of it. Sad really..."

Velvet took a step closer to Y/N, she was about clinging to his arm. Her very heart felt like it was about to jump out of her chest, but a glint of metal caught her eye and she turned to see an old light switch.

Velvet: "A guys, what are the chances this still works?"

She clicked the switch and the lights came on.

Yatsuhashi: "Very."

Fox chuckled again and they found a trail of blood this time leading them down the shaft, away from the town. Along with a rifle that was new and well kept. Velvet grabbed the weapon and stared at it, her ears bent down as he held it out.

Velvet: "This is Magnolia's... We've got to find them. NOW!"

Fox: "Storm is coming..."

[Time Skip]

Velvet was leading the group, all of the members were silent as she took the lead. Y/N was the only walking by her side, but he was also looking over the weapon that Velvet had given him to hold.

It was a normal bow staff from his look. But, when his handheld the weapon he noticed a trigger and a magazine for a rifle clip. Nothing major as RWBY's sniper rifle. But something like Pyrrha's weapon and the odd thing about the weapon was...

It's gorgeous and Y/N would be lying if he didn't want to keep the weapon for his own. However, his moment of love for the weapon soon disappeared as he noticed Velvet's ears perk up and even he heard it now.

Whispers over the crackling of a fire as the buzz of an engine could be heard, yet what hung in the air was the smell of a beer or cider and pot of soup over a fire.

Velvet: "Theirs ten of them! Come on-"

Coco had covered Velvet's mouth and speaks up so only the team could hear.

Coco: "Alright Velvet, you need to calm down before you put yourself in danger, and us. Now we need a strategy and where-is-"

Fox pointed to the opening of the cave where they stood, hiding behind a wall. The team poke their heads out and watches Y/N knockout the last guard with the but of the weapon, as does a quick bow calling for team CFVY.

Yatsuhashi: "He's good."

Fox: "Hmm..."

The boys walked in and stared at their defeated foes, they wore old rough leather and from the look of their weapons. Which were scarcely sharp and blunter than a butter knife. Well, they couldn't be the White Fang, mainly because the group didn't even have a single Faunus in this little group and had no emblem of them either.

Y/N: "What now, I don't see any signs of Magnolia or her team?"

Velvet found one of the beaten men groaning out in pain and picked him up, then pinned him to the tunnel wall.

Velvet: "Where are they!"

The man with a broken nose chuckle placing his hand on her cheek.

Man: "What's wrong little bunny, lost your little friends down our rabbit hole."

Velvet was about to spit in the man's face when Yatsuhashi took over the situation and grabbed the man by his shoulder. Suddenly the man shakes his head and takes a second.

Man: "Hey what are you kids doing here?"

Y/N wanted to ask, what is going on. But Coco whispered into Y/N's ear.

Coco: "Yatsuhashi has a semblance called Memory Wiping, just watch."

Yatsuhashi bowed holding both his hand out in an Asian bow.

Yatsuhashi: "Apologies, you knocked your head pretty hard when the Grimm arrived. We are recruits and are looking for the prisoners."

The man bit his lip as he grabbed the back of his head, taking a moment to think.

Man: "Umm, further down tunnel. Kids didn't even see the trap we set. Believing dear old Petals little illusion trick. Followed her without a word between them, dropped their weapons as soon as they entered. Be careful, we rigged their cage. Just in case any of them had an idea of breaking out."

Y/N walked over to the man placing a hand on his shoulder.

Y/N: "Thank you... Now it's time to sleep."

Man: "But i-"

Y/N grabbed the man by the brush of his head and then slammed his skull into the rocky wall. The man dropped like a sack of flour as Y/N picked his pockets grabbing a key.

Y/N: "How about we get out of here now."

Velvet snatched the keys from Y/N's hand.

Velvet: "Not without team MASK."

She walked past and Y/N chuckled walking behind her.

Y/N: "Of course, I didn't mean-"

Fox chuckled walking beside Y/N as he hums the tune 'Rock you like a hurricane.' And Y/N knew this is either going to end really good, or really bad. But he'll have to figure that out as he hears a voice scream out to the group.

???: "Velvet!!!"

Velvet: "Magnolia!!!"

The prison cell could finally be seen and technically, it was more of a large animal cage than a prison cell. Maybe it could hold Grimm or something, but with all four students in the cage, well their lucky to have any legroom from the looks of it.

Velvet reaches out and Y/N screams out.

Y/N: "STOP!!!"

Velvet stopped in place and everyone stares at Y/N as he runs over to Velvet.

Y/N: "Do. Not. Move... You are on a landmine."

She gulped and her team slowly walked over to Y/N as they try to reach out for Velvet.

Y/N: "Don't move her... Don't even get close to her, who knows how many more of these guys placed here."

Velvet: "I'm scared!"

Coco: "Don't worry you are fine... You are fine."

Magnolia: "Velvet, please. Just... listen."

Coco knelt towards Y/N as he digs the mine out around her foot.

Coco: "You can save her right?"

Y/N nods and stops as he stares at the weapon.

Y/N: "Yeah... Just give me a moment here."

Y/N glimpsed up at Velvet watching her shake and turned Coco.

Y/N: "Fox, Yatsuhashi stand on either side of Velvet make sure she doesn't move and hold her up if she starts to fall. She moves, we all die."

The boys run over and Coco looks to Y/N.

Coco: "What now?"

Y/N flicks his wrist and a blade appears, then slowly he hears a tick and he smiles and the team looks at him.

Y/N: "OK... We're good. It's disarmed."

The team stares at him unsure what to do and Y/N grabs Velvet's foot, slowly raising it up and then team CFVY let out a brief sigh. While Y/N slowly dismantled the weapon.

Coco: "How do you know how to do that?"

Y/N still concentrated on the weapon in hand, digs through one of his belt pockets pulling out a smoke bomb.

Y/N: "I make my own..."

Velvet: "WHAT!!!"

Coco: "WHY!?"

Y/N looks up and takes out the explosive clay of the bomb, tossing the metal aside and throwing the explosive clay on the other side of the room.

Y/N: "For moments like this... and mainly for when traps like this have been set. Now, none of you move over to that cage."

They nodded and Y/N slowly walked around the cage, as he swapped in and out of his eagle vision. Then finally stops behind the group and cuts a wire, making team MASK let out a big sigh as well.

Y/N: "Alright, that's it."

Velvet ran for the door and opened the cage door to be tackled by Magnolia, as her team sprint out, also hugging the other students. As the group chuckle along enjoying their moment of embrace.

However, Y/N stood to the side staring at the crates and large sums of food in the cave.

Y/N: 'What was going on here...'

[Time Skip]

Professor Port: "Well done students!"

The group of young men and women looked at each other, nodding along with their teacher. As they watch the group of bandits are lead onto bullhead and take off in a manner of seconds.

Y/N: "What were they doing here?"

Professor Port: "Well dear boy you should know this little group, had been ransacking supplies from the town. Even holdings ransoms."

Y/N scratched his chin as Professor port carries on.

Velvet: "So the camp they had?"

Magnolia: "Was a set up from the get-go."

Anastasia: "And we walked right into it."

Anastasia cracked her knuckles, as she tensed up after hearing that news. Making even Magnolia and Velvet comfort her.

However, this did make Y/N study the new group called MASK. Magnolia is a Fox Faunus and wore brown clothing, with Anastasia the girl who looks surprisingly a lot like Yang. Just more of a sports fan than anything he could tell. However, Snow and Kai the two with white-silver hair were both looking at each other in regret. From their last names mentioned it didn't take long to figure out the two were brother and sister.

Y/N: "So what now?"

Professor Port stroked his mustache, as he hums in thought.

Professor Port: "Well seeing as your teams helped out the locals, I see no reason to celebrate."

Anastasia: "Finally!!!"

Coco: "I know where we're going, Meet Street."

Coco leaned against Anastasia as the two girls started to finish each other's sentences.

Anastasia: "9 this evening is happy hour."

Coco: "You know me so well."

The girls scream out a hoorah, along with some of the teammates doing the same, as they all step onto another bullhead leading them back to Beacon. But Y/N was strolling beside professor Port.

Y/N: "How did they explosives?"

Professor Port takes a step onto the bullhead with Y/N, the two grab a rail as the ship takes off.

Professor Port: "It could've been found in the wreckage of mountain Glenn, the explosive powder was prominent in the destruction of that poor town."

Y/N nod. But that description didn't sit well with him, and what was the point of the group being near the small town... Things weren't making sense, Professor Port lets out a laugh, catching Y/N the young man off.

Y/N: "What's so funny sir?"

Professor Port: "Oh nothing dear boy, I'm merely amused that unlike your counterparts your mind still lingers to the day's event."

Y/N: "It could've gone wrong..."

Professor Port: "But it didn't dear boy, and we have you and team CFVY to thank for that. However..."

The man's voice became heavy and his face stirred with the emotion of both concern and regret were clearly visible on the old man's face.

Professor Port: "I'm just as concerned as you young man, although your teams acted exemplary. This left more questions than answers. But I'm sure our esteemed headmaster has an idea."

Y/N: "You think so?"

Professor Port lets out a little chuckle, placing his free hand on his round stomach.

Professor Port: "Young man, if there's one man that could make heads or tails of this event. It will be Ozpin, I've trusted that man's judgment."

Y/N: 'Well that's interesting...'

Professor Port: "But for now young man, rest. It's a two-hour flight to Beacon and you must be exhausted."

Y/N nodded walking over to the wall of the ship and lay resting his back on the hull, lifting his hood over his face and slowly drifts off to sleep. 

[Time Skip]

Y/N was walking beside team CFVY and team MASK as they finally landed in Beacon, the girls had been talking through most of the flight back.

However, with Y/N had been feeling an itch and knew what was going on.

Y/N: "Listen... I'll see you guys later, I've got make a call."

Anastasia: "What are you talking about, I'm sure the person can wait."

Y/N peered down at his scroll, taking note of the time and slowly shook his head.

Y/N: "No... This needs to be done, and it can't wait."

The team looks at him, some of them unsure what to say and do. However, Y/N simply couldn't wait and said his goodbyes as he makes his way towards his room. But when he finally reached his room, Y/N groaned as his right hand felt his lower abdomen. The wound he suffered two days ago had broken it's stitching and then he felt the other wound.

His right shoulder had a puncture wound, but now felt a trickle of blood going down his chest.

Y/N: "Why me..."

He stepped into his room and slowly took off his upper part of his clothing. But before he could even get the needle and thread, the door creaked open.

Blake: "Y/N?"

Blake stepped into the room, carrying a folder and book. But when she saw Y/N bleeding... Instead of stopping in place unsure what to do, she threw the books onto his and ran over to his side.

Blake: "What the hell happened to you!?"

Y/N: "Shoo, you'll wake up the whole neighborhood if you're not careful."

This made Y/N let out a little chuckle, but Blake stares up at the young man's face.

Blake: "Stop... Just stop... Come on let me take you to the nurse."

Y/N stopped in place biting his lip.

Y/N: "At this time of night... Forget it."

Blake rolled her eyes and placed Y/N on his bed.

Blake: "Fine... Do you have a needle and thread?"

Y/N looked the other way and Blake crouched down looking him in the eyes.

Blake: "I can't help if you won't let me."

Y/N sighed and looked to his nightstand, Blake dug through the contents pulling out a needle and thread.

Blake: "Alright here we go. Are you ready?"

Y/N titled his head in a nod and blade slowly got to work, cutting out the old stitches and then started sowing his abdomen. He was mostly silent as Blake worked on his body, ever so often she would glimpse back at Y/N as he stared back at her.

When she cut the thread, she spoke up.

Blake: "So... Do you often let girls work on your body with a needle and thread?"

Y/N chuckled as Blake now moved to his shoulder.

Y/N: "Not often... Most occasions I'd ask if they knew what they were doing."

Blake stopped in place.

Blake: "What made you believe I could do this?"

Y/N: "Most people would just call a nurse or a doctor... Even when the person says no like I did. But you didn't suggest it... Ow..."

Blake gave a smug smile as she continues to work on his wound. Make Y/N chuckle along.

Y/N: "Meaning this has happened before."

Blake darted her eyes back and forth, while Y/N remained silent.

Y/N: "I won't tell anyone."

Blake: "I... Thank you."

Y/N sighed and grabbed the books by his side, then noticed what it was.

Y/N: "Homework... How riveting."

Blake snickered at that comment and this broke a smile on his face.

Y/N: "Now that's a rare thing to see..."

Blake looked the other way, but when she turned. She seemed angry.

Blake: "What's that suppose to mean!"

Y/N: "Nothing... You've got a beautiful smile."

The comment made Blake raise an eyebrow, as she placed the pricked hin with a needle. But he didn't move or flinch. Instead, he simply chuckled along.

Y/N: "It's a compliment... Not a threat."

Blake: "You don't know anything about me."

Y/N looked the other way and nodded with that comment.

Y/N: "Yeah guess I don't... Thank you."

He slowly started to sit up but was suddenly pushed down. With Blake pinning him down.

Blake: "Don't move, you'll open them."

Y/N: "But I-"

Blake stared Y/N down and was adamant about it. But gave in as she slowly wraps gauze around his chest and shoulder.

When Blake was finally done Y/N spoke up.

Y/N: "Thank you.

Blake: "Well you needed it. No matter what you say."

Y/N: "Even still... Thank you."

Blake: "Your... I just. You're not going to ask?"

Y/N: "Of course I want to."

Blake: "But you won't?"

Y/N turned to Blake and smirked.

Y/N: "You've got your question too... When you are ready to ask them. I'll be here waiting... Even your little bow isn't everything it seems."

Blake reached for her bow, as she steps back.

Blake: "My bow... What are you..." She sighed and Y/N chuckled.

Blake: "How?"

Y/N: "I didn't know originally. But when you laughed and when you'd smile. Your bow would move strangely, first, your right ear leans down, then your left."

Blake took a spot on the bed staring down at Y/N as she places a hand on her chest.

Blake: "Why didn't you tell anyone, or confront me..."

Y/N: "It's not my place to judge and besides... You'll have to tell us eventually. So, I was willing to wait."

Blake studied Y/N for a moment then took off her bow revealing her cat-like ears. Making Y/N taken back.

Blake: "Go one... What are you going to say!?"

Y/N reached out for Blake's hand and smiled.

Y/N: "I think you look better without the bow... Besides cat ears suit you."

Blake blushed and smiled. But soon stopped taking her hand back.

Blake: "I... Need to go to my room."

Y/N: "Alright..."

Blake was about close the door behind her when she turned back.

Blake: "Um, our team is going to the docks tomorrow. Do you want to come?"
