Dan's pov

Good going Daniel, terrify the cute boy away by telling him you're a vampire. Way to flirt man.

Well I guess now I have to spill everything. That means I can't let him go. He could reveal my secret and get me killed. Or worse, prosecuted on the vampire council then killed.

"I know you're not believing me, or maybe you are after last night.." His expression is a mix of utter confusion and wonder, he's very hard to read. I like a challenge.

"Well you kidnapped me is what I believe." He stated, and I detected a slight sense of shakiness in his voice. Well, Phil's not wrong. I did kidnap him, but with good reason. My instincts just kicked in and I couldn't help but feel a connection.

"I'm sorry but if I explain then you can't leave." said Dan attempting to sound full of melancholy but accidentally let his excitement shine through.

Phil looked distraught but also like he could be hiding excitement. Gosh I wish he liked me. In my few hundred years on earth, I have never met a specimen so divine. Sure, I've dated around. But Phil was more than a casual thing. I felt a real connection, like I was supposed to find him.

Why did I bite him? I was too hungry to notice. But after I got my fill I seemed to first notice the appearance and aura of the boy and realized what I had done. This sweet person could have had such a good life but now they're stuck with me. Old Danny the vampire.

I'm very insecure, for a semi immortal being. Ever since I was bitten 300 years ago, I felt horrible. What kind of sickening creature feasts on living humans?

The only thing I'm proud of is getting the venom out of him. So he wouldn't have to turn into some.. monster like me.

I looked into his eyes full of curiosity, fear, and wonderment. "I want to know everything." he plead while grabbing my hand.
