Serafina's outfit and Amber's outfit^

Serafina's pov

Fantasy started playing I turned off my alarm. I yawned and sat up. All of Sunday was practicing. I practiced on the waves and dad and Amber practiced volleyball.

Today was Monday. I got up and walked to my closet. After I got dressed I turned on my curling wand and walked to my bathroom to brush my teeth.

I came back to my vanity and sat in the soft white chair. I started on my makeup. I lightly did my eyebrows with water proof makeup. Waterproof mascara and put slightly tinted chap stick on. I curled my hair and was happy with it all.

Last night I put everything thing I needed for surf tryouts in my baby blue duffle bag and I already strapped my surfboard onto the van. I grabbed my white backpack and duffle bag and put them by the door.

"Good morning dad." I said and when he walked into the kitchen. "Morning Fina." He said poured himself some coffee.

I went over to the espresso machine and started on my drink. "I'm going to be working from home. You and Amber will be sharing the car until you get cars for yourself." He said.

"I was thinking about looking for a car after school on Friday. I still have that 10,000 dollars that I saved up." I smiled and added whip cream to my drink.

"Okay we'll do that then." He said and I gave him a smile. I put two bathing suits in my duffle bag, a two piece and a one piece.

"Amber get up we leave in five." I yelled. "I'm up!" She yelled walking out of her room with her stuff in her hands. She set it down next to mine.

I handed her an espresso and she smiled with delight. I grabbed our lunch bags from the fridge and put them in our bags.

"Fina I think your missing something." Amber said and looked down to my feet. "Oh yeah I need shoes." I laughed to myself and ran back to my room. I slipped on white no show socks, and then my white converse.

"We'll see you later dad!" I yelled and grabbed the van keys off the hook. "Good luck S!" Dad yelled and we headed out the door.

We threw our stuff in the back and I climbed in the drivers seat. Even though I was younger, I would always drive.

"SummerHill here we come!" Amber laughed and I laughed along with her. She plugged in her aux cord and played her summer playlist.

5 minutes later

I pulled into the parking lot and Amber turned off her music. We left our tryout stuff in the car but grabbed our backpacks.

We climbed out and I locked the car. "Alright let's go find the office." Amber smiled and I smiled right along with her.

We walked into the school and we immediately saw the front desk. "Hello girls." I recognized her voice as Debby's. "Hi I'm Serafina Priya and this is my older sister Amber Priya." I introduced.

"Oh Serafina dear! Here are both your schedules! Good luck with the tryouts!" She said and handed us our schedules.

I was a straight A student. "We have the same classes except for History, you have advanced History and I have normal History." Amber said. She wasn't that great in History but I couldn't blame her.

"First class is maths. Great." I huffed. "Hey Debby where is the maths classroom?" I asked turning around. "Oh I'll have someone show you." She said and flagged down two guys.

"Girls this Casey and Alex, they will show you to your first class." Debby said. "They are both in advanced math." Debby said looking at the boys.

They started walking and we followed. "What's your names?" The boy with sandy blonde hair and brown eyes asked. "Casey why would you ask that to a blonde, you know their dumb." The guy with dark brown hair and blue eyes whispered.

"I might be a blonde but I'm not dumb. Anyway my name is Serafina and this is my sister Amber." I said and they shared a look.

"Don't mind Alex he's to focused on his tryouts this afternoon." Casey said and jabbed his thumb at Alex. "Oh what sport are you trying out for?" I asked.

"We're both trying out for surf." Casey smiled. "Wait really?! So am I!" I laughed. "That's awesome. If you get chosen for the team you'll be the first girl to ever surf with the guys." Casey said.

"Well here is your classroom." Casey said. "Alex has this class but I don't. See you later girls!" Casey said and walked off.

We all walked in and I immediately saw girls giving us daggers. "Miss Lane this is Amber Priya and Serafina Priya they are new here." Alex said and sauntered to his seat.

"Would you like to tell us about yourselves?" Miss L asked. No not really. "My name is Amber and I like volleyball." Amber said and waited for me. "Serafina, and I like surfing." I smiled confidently before following Amber to the two empty seats in the back.

"Thank you girls! Now all of you listen up! This weeks lesson is algebra!" Miss L snapped and I drowned out her voice but paid attention to the important details.

This is going to be a long day.

It was finally lunch and Amber and I retreated to the bleachers outside.

I took a sip of my water. "Do you think I'll make the team?" Amber asked turning to me. "Amb don't even start, you'll make the team." I reassured her and took a bite of my chicken wrap.

"Hey girls! Come to watch the football tryouts?" I heard Casey say. "Not what we were attending but I guess we are now." I said.

Alex and Casey sat down next to us. "Our friends Sean and Jacob are trying out for football." He said and we watched as the guys started filling onto the field.

"See number 3 that's Sean and 15 is Jacob." He said and I saw the two talking to each other. "Sean! Jacob!" Casey yelled and stood up doing a weird dance. He made a monkey face and wiggled his hips with his hands up in this weird praying mantis like way. Amber and I laughed.

Sean and Jacob jogged over to us since tryouts didn't start for a few minutes. "Case just stop your embarrassing yourself." A guy with jet black hair and green eyes said. "Who are they?" The other guy asked. He had ombré hair.

"This is Serafina and Amber." Casey introduced. "Nice to meet you! I'm Sean and this ombré weirdo is Jacob." He said and I gave a small smile.

"We've never seen you around school are you guys new here?" Sean asked. "Yeah we moved from Texas Saturday." Amber said.

"From Texas?!" Alex asked shocked. "Yup." I said. A whistle blew and Sean and Jacob jogged off.

We made small talk and then went on our way. Alex and Amber shared normal History and Casey and I shared advanced history so at least I wasn't lonely.

It was now fourth period and we were waiting. The announcements blared. "All students trying out for surf are to meet in the front of the school." Debby said and Casey, Alex, and I stood up walked out.

I winked to Amber before exiting the door. "This is so exciting!" I smiled.

"I know." Casey said and we opened the front door and walked out. I saw about 15 other guys their. We stopped behind the crowd.

A man dressed in a wet suit came out the doors and we all turned to face him. "I need all of you in a line facing me." He said and we did as told.

"My name is Bodhi and this is my assistant Luke." He said and gestured to a guy. "When I come by you with the clipboard, you'll tell me your name and how many years you've been surfing." He said started at the very end of the line. I was at the very front.

A few minutes later

"Alex Calvin, 5 years."

"Casey Williams, 5 years." They were all five years experience.

Bodhi reached me. "Serafina Priya, 11 years." I said and Bodhi looked up at me with interest in his eyes.

"Does anybody have their surf stuff with them?" He asked and all of us raised our hands except for three guys.

"You three follow Luke to get equipment." He said and the left following Luke. "The beach is a five minute walk from here, I want you all to get your stuff change in the bathrooms and then come back out here and wait on the steps." Bodhi said and sat down.

"I have a one piece and a two piece, does it matter which one I wear?" I ask. "No just go." He said.

I smiled and walked to the van. I saw Casey walk to a car a spot away. I unlocked the van and grabbed my duffle, I left my board on the car.

I walked to the bathrooms that were outside for some reason. I walked into the girls and changed into my two piece.

I sprayed my sunscreen on my body and then got my face with the small stuff. I slipped on my shorts but put my shirt in the duffle and walked out.

I earned a few whistles but I just rolled my eyes. I sat down next to Casey and waited for everyone else. "Excited?" He asked me. "Heck yeah I am." I smiled. The last few came and we stood up.

"Alright you know what, just drive. Meet me in the left corner of the lot." Bodhi said and we all got in our cars.

Five minutes later

I turned off the engine and climbed out. I unstrapped my board and carried it and my bag to the boardwalk where Bodhi was starting to walk on.

We set our stuff down next to each other. "Alright do what you need to do to get ready." Bodhi said and walked a little bit away.

I took off my shorts and set my towel down. I sat cross legged and pulled my board onto my lap and started to chalk her up.

"Sweet board Fina." Casey said next to me. "Thanks yours is cool too." I said and was speaking honestly. His had a cool tech design on the underside.

I strapped my board around my ankle and made my way over to Bodhi. Soon everyone else joined me. "Alright first up we have Ryan Tee." Bodhi said and a guy walked to the water.

Who knows how long later

"Alex Calvin." Bodhi called and Alex jogged out to the water. He made it out to the point and then started paddling when a wave came by.

He was good yes, but not as good as me. He wiped out when he attempted an Off-the-lip.

"Casey Williams." I gave him a thumbs up as he jogged to the water.

He did some good tricks. He was the only one so far who made it the whole wave without wiping out. He did simple things like carves and cutbacks and snaps.

"Serafina Priya." Bodhi called and I smiled at Casey as I jogged out.

The water was slightly chilly. The water was thigh high and I laid down on the board. I was halfway there when a wave came and I did a quick duck dive.

I turned the board around and sat up. I casually waited. A gigantic wave bigger than any of them that the others did came up to me and I smirked.

I paddled and let the wave take the board. I stood up and almost immediately did a bottom lip. I rode the wave and managed myself onto the top and made a cutback.

I then made my way into a tail slide and then a snap. I rode the side of the wave and then did a kick flip. I finished it all off with an Aerial  and landing perfectly.

Cheers and whoops erupted from the shore and I smiled and jumped off into the water.

I made it back and set my board down next to my towel. "Alright everybody take a break!" Bodhi said and went over to Luke and talk about who's in and who's not.

"Serafina! That was amazing!" Casey said and sat down on his towel next to me. I grabbed my water. "Thanks." I said and took a sip.

My phone buzzed and I took it out of my bag. Amber was calling me. "Hello Amb." I said.

"I'm captain of the volleyball team! Where are you?" She said. "Omg congrats! I'm at the beach it's only five minutes from the school." I said.

"Kay. I'll see you down their." She said and hung up. "Who was that?" Casey asked. "Oh that was Amber she's the captain of the volleyball team now." I said and took another sip of my water.

"Alrighty people." Bodhi said and walked in front of us. "Only five of you were chosen." Luke said. "Those who were chosen are, Alex Calvin, Casey Willams, Serafina Priya, Zane Luis, and Ty Soove. The Captain is Serafina and the co-captain is Zane. Congrats! We will have our first meeting Wednesday after school. Your dismissed." Bodhi said and walked away.

"Fina we knew you could do it!" Casey smiled. A pair of hands covered my eyes. "Congrats on becoming captain!" Amber sang. "Amber!" I yelled and shot up and hugged her.

"We should go and tell dad." Amber said and I nodded and put my stuff away. "See you guys on Tuesday!" I smiled and grabbed my board and walked back to the van.

Some time later

"Dad we're home!" Amber yelled and we found dad in the living room. "We're both captains of our sports!" We sang and dad stood up and ran to us and crushed us in a hug.

"Good job girls. How about I make some Maple Salmon." He smiled and we nodded.

I went to my room and shut the door. I smiled and then jumped onto my bed with an oof.

"I did it!" I screamed into my pillow and then got comfy in my bed.

I did it.....my life is complete...
