Chapter 19
"One hundred thousand troops Sera. More are joining every day," Neela said as she sketched a new outfit for Sera. "You should be happy. Why aren't you happy?"
"I don't know. What my uncle said, and Lucia at large. I just have a lot going on through my head. Not to mention Abbadon or Orfeo," Sera said swimming back and forth.
"I know. What you need to do first is to just shake it off. Then you need to sit down. You'll wear yourself out. You're wearing me out watching you. I know how much you hate to hear it, but you need to sit and rest. If you stress yourself out too much who knows what will happen to you."
Sera sighed, and sat on the edge of her bed. She knew that she had to rest, and not stress out too much. Any second it could throw her over the edge, and she could end up right where she was just a handful of weeks ago. She couldn't be there now. Her realm, and fighters needed her. She ran her fingers through her hair, and laid all the way back.
She looked up at the ceiling, and Sylvester curled up next to her. She was thinking about her next move when Ava, Becca, and Ling came bursting through the door.
"We need to contact Astrid," Becca said.
Sera sits up, and looks at the group of girls. "What?" she asks.
"When you were in a coma Astrid contacted us. We need to leave for the Southern Sea as soon as possible, and I need to make sure my information is correct. Also she needs to see you to knoyou're okay."
"Guys, I don't think know is the best time. Sera is still trying to recover, and she isn't supposed to cast a big spell like a convoca," Neela said from her seat.
"Who said she was going to cast the spell?"
"Even if I don't, it'll still drain me from being in the spell. Maybe tonight we can try it. I'll get some sleep, and we'll try it then okay? Just not right now," Sera said.
"That might not work Sera," a voice said from inside of Sera's head.
"Astrid?"
"It's me, and this is the only time I can talk."
