"Girls join hands," Neela said.

Sera was hesitant at first, but grabbed Becca's and Neela's hands.

"I only have a few minutes before Orfeo finds out what I'm doing. Sera, your teacher Thassala is alive," Astrid said looking at Sera.

"What?" Sera asked in disbelief.

"Thassala is teaching me magic. Orfeo was able to find why I didn't have magic, and he got my magic back. But that's not why I'm here. I heard what happened to your uncle Sera. Orfeo has taken Lucia under his wing. She's here at the Shadow Mansion, but not for long. She's leaving for a safer location for from here, and she won't be easy to find."

"Wait the Shadow Mansion? Where's that?"

"The Black Sea. Surprisingly everything here isn't black."

"Getting troops there won't be easy. I don't think we'll be able to get there. Not if we're going to the Southern Sea. This is the one chance to get her, and we won't be able to. What else do you have for news?"

"I'm making sure that you have the right information." Astrid gives the location again to Becca. Then looks over her shoulder. "I have to go. Someone's coming. I'll see you there in a few months."

Astrid ends the convoca, and they are all back in Sera's room. Sera gasps, before collapsing onto her bed. Neela rushes to her friends care. The world goes dark around Sera, and then she's out.

"I knew this was a bad idea. Sera's drained, and we don't know when she'll wake again. It could be a few days from now. You knew Astrid was trying to contact us, and you pressured her into entering the spell Becca."

"Maybe you're right. But she needed to hear these things too."

"That was a huge risk Becca, and now our already weak leader is gone again. I don't want to see you again Becca until she wakes up."

"Neela I-"

"Save it. Leave us alone. Now I need to find Mahdi and tell him why Sera isn't going to be waking up anytime soon."

Becca turns her fin sharply, and leaves the room. "Neela. Don't be so hard on her," Ling said.

"How can I not be? She put our leader back in danger. Now our plans have been set back a few days so Sera can be strong for when we leave. Sera is my best friend. She was the only friend I had from any realm for my whole life. I have to protect her, even if it means being hard on my new friends. I know Sera's limits. This was just too much."

Ling, and Ava nod, and silently left the room. All that was left was Neela. Who was saying a silent prayer to the gods that Sera would recover from this.
