Chapter 1
(Misty's POV)
"Come on! Pack your bags, you're going to be late!" Daisy yelled. I just smiled at her.
"Why am I going to summer camp again?" I asked and rolled my eyes.
"To meet new people." Violet said, and she immediately smirked after she said that. "Maybe you'll even meet some cute boys." She winked at me and I glared in response.
I sighed. Well they couldn't be any worse then the boys at school.
Honk, honk!
Well, there was the bus. I turned around one last time. "Are you guys sure you can handle it? You know, without me helping." Daisy sighed loudly.
"We can handle it." Daisy said quickly, trying to get me out of here.
"Are you sure?" I asked, not convinced. "I can stay. Make sure you do your chores in time, and that the gym keeps accepting gym battles." Violet and Lily shared an understanding look.
"Just go." Lily said and she pushed me forward.
I almost fell, but regained my balance. 'Time to shine' I thought by myself.
I climbed on board of the bus and looked around. It was pretty empty, but this was one of the first stops before we would go to Camp Silent Bay. In the bus there were only a raven haired boy wearing a hat with the camp logo on it, a honey blond girl with her long hair in a ponytail, a guy with brown spiky hair and a look on his face that made me want to slap him, a blond boy that couldn't stop running around and a girl with dark brown hair that she wore partly before her face. She sat in the corner on her own, so I took place next to her.
"Mind if I sit here?" I asked with a smile.
The girl smiled back. "Not at all." she said sweetly.
(Serena's POV)
We were on our way to summer camp. This would be it, I could feel it in the air. This summer something special was going to happen. The bus stopped again, this time in front of a gym. "Cerulean City!" the driver yelled. Ash and Gary were in an argument of what was more important when you train your Pokémon, a strong bond or really hard work. I tried to enter the conversation, but Gary shut me down.
"Please Serena, you don't know what your talking about." I secretly hoped that Ash would disagree with him, but he didn't.
I leaned back in my seat when this red headed girl came in. She wore the camp shirt, and her aquamarine eyes went trough the bus.
She was really pretty. I immediately looked at Ash. He looked at her a little too long. I tapped his shoulder and started about the gym outside.
The girl sat down next to the quiet girl in the back. I sighed in relief. That could have gone a lot worse. It didn't matter who this girl was, she wasn't going to stand between me and Ash. Not now that I was so close to finally telling him how I felt about him.
She stood up again to introduce herself to us.
"Hello, I'm Misty Waterflower and who are you all." she said with a friendly smile.
"Ketchum, Ash." Ash said a little too fast. The quiet girl chuckled a bit.
"I'm Kathryn, nice to meet you." When we all introduced ourselves to Misty she went back to her seat.
The entire ride to Hoenn I watched the girl closely. Sorry Misty Waterflower, but you wil not beat me. Not in this lifetime.
(May's POV)
I was waiting for the bus to arrive and was trying to control my nerves. This would be the place I would spend my whole summer. I really hoped it would be fun. I once again looked at my letter, it said the bus would be here. I really hoped I didn't come to the wrong place.
"Hey." A boy's voice said I turned around. A boy with green hair and a Roselia next to him looked at me with a smirk on his face. I tried saying something, but failed and kept my mouth shut instead. When the bus finally decided to show up a blond boy with glasses came running towards us.
"Wait!" he screamed. He fell flat on his face, and the bus wasn't slowing down.
"Stop!" I screamed I tried to grab the boy, even though I would be hit by the bus too. I couldn't let my summer begin with a dead body. But the grasshaired boy grabbed my arm, and I could just look how the bus came closer to the blond boy. The boy's glasses were broken and he looked with fear on his face at something he probably couldn't even see. Then in a flash, right before the bus hit the boy, someone grabbed him and got him out off the way. The bus stopped so sudden that the people in it fell from their seats.
Then I remembered the grasshaired boy who still held my arm in a tight grip. I yanked my arm back, and looked him angry in the eyes.
"Hey bunny head," the boy said. I cringed at the nickname. "Watch yourself." He turned around and walked to the bus.
(Delcatty's POV)
I sat down in my office, the curtains closed. I sighed. I messed up big time.
I stood up and looked outside. "Never the same." I whispered. There was a storm coming and I couldn't stop it. They would have to fix my mistake.
(Dawn's POV)
I looked at the guy sitting beside me. When I entered the bus as one of the last, there had only been a spot free next the him. His hair was purple, which I didn't think was his natural hair color. He had not looked at me once. Instead he had looked out of the window, with a grumpy expression on his face.
I looked at the rest of the campers. The whole bus was stocked, and I couldn't find anyone I knew. I turned back to the boy, and just for one second our eyes met. Then he turned around real fast, like I caught him on something.
"Hey, I'm Dawn." I said and smiled.
At first I thought he was just going to ignore me, but then he looked out the window and said, "Paul." That would obviously be all I would hear from him the entire ride. So I looked at the trees passing by. 'Great start, Dawn.' I thought to myself.
(Time skip: Camp Silent Bay)
(Skitty's POV)
Everyone got out off the bus, talking and laughing. Why so many? Why now? I looked at Delcatty. She gave me a warning look. Great, now she would watch me all summer.
I turned around angrily. She wasn't my keeper. Not after wat she did. Her mistakes weren't my burden. But I knew they were, and she was all I had left. A normal life just couldn't be safe for me. I sighed. "Let's see what game you are gonna play. I will beat you at it."
(Laurel's POV)
"Welcome everyone! I hope you had a pleasant journey." A few people murmured in disagreement. I laughed.
"This is Camp Silent Bay. I'm Laurel you camp leader. It's getting pretty late, so I'll show you your sleeping place. And then we will have dinner." A lot of people seemed to like this idea.
Tracey came running towards the bus, and smiled at me. "Sorry for being so late." he said.
"This is Tracey. He is our tour guide and he'll show the boys their shack. If the girls would follow me please."
(Ash's POV)
We gathered around the guy named Tracey, still panting from running so fast. I looked around. Serena was still standing next to me. "You should follow Laurel." I said to her.
"But." she tried, with a bit of disappointment in her voice.
"Don't worry" I said, with a weak smile on my face. "I'll be fine." She sighed and walked after the rest off the group. I just couldn't seem to figure that girl out.
"She likes you." Gary said with a smirk on his face. I looked at him with blind panic in my eyes. He, as the good friend he was, started to laugh so loud that even the trees had to be cringing. The silent "hero", that had saved the boy named Clemont, gave us an annoyed look.
"Cool it, Oak." he growled. Then the group started walking, but the boy next to Gary flipped his hair and joined the conversation.
"So Gary Oak, huh? Can't say I'm honored to meet you." Gary rolled his eyes.
"Please go back to watering your hair, Grasshead." Gary snapped. I laughed at the sight of all those faces smirking at each other. This would be a great summer.
(Misty's POV)
I sat on the way too hard camp bed, and smiled. The small room we got was way more then I was expecting. At least I would have some privacy on my vacation. The rest of the girls were already in the "together room", as Laurel called it.
I started unpacking my bags, and organizing the room a bit. I hummed a song, while doing this.
"That's pretty good." a voice said. I dropped everything on the ground. A gold-brown haired girl was standing in the doorway.
"You scared the hell out of me." I said, trying not to sound like I almost jumped through the ceiling.
The girl chuckled a bit and offered me her hand. I didn't realized that I sank down to the ground. "I'm Leaf." she said.
"Misty." I said, and took her hand. She pulled me up. "We're gonna roast marshmallows. Care to join us?"
"I would love to" I said, and gave her a smile.
'Time for a fresh start.' I thought, and walked after Leaf to the fire place. The boys had gathered around it too. And there was already a fire in the pit. The girl, Leaf, introduced me to her friends.
"I'm Dawn." a pretty girl with long blue hair. I tried to shake her hand, but she gave me a bone smashing hug.
"May!" She took my hand in hers and gave me a grin. "Welcome to the group."
I smiled uncomfortably, they were all so nice. Everyone gathered around the fire. It was getting really cold, and the fire felt nice and warm. I looked around. Kathryn was nowhere to be seen. Then my eyes met with those of the boy named Ash. I turned around to the girls that already treated me as their best friend, before the stare would get awkward. Then the marshmallows arrived.
"There was this boy I liked." May said with sparkling eyes, she, of course, had my full attention. "I wrote him an anonymous love letter, but it was full of spelling errors, so everybody immediately knew it came from me. I didn't dare speak to him ever again." We all laughed for May's sad story, but I shivered.
"It's getting really cold, I'm gonna get some blankets." I said, and with that I walked to the shack. When I entered the girls shack, I immediately felt something was wrong. The door wasn't closed and the lights were on.
Without making any sound I walked to the together room. Someone was standing there uncomfortable. Someone with raven black hair, and a stupid Camp Silent Bay hat.
"Ash?" I asked surprised.

So that was the first chapter I know it's kinda unorganized with all the POV switches and stuff, but I realy enjoyed writing it. And I just published it because I had so much fun working on it. So please inform me on what I can change to make it a better story. If you see spellings errors, tell me. I try to get them out before I publish it, but I can't guarantee it won't contain any.
Please, comment. And leave a vote if you liked it.
Thanks!
