Chapter 29

Haise Pov

"Ok... Who's the jackass that decided not to just recreate a Shadow Lugia. But also put armor on it?" I asked no one in particular.

"What?" A very confused Hugo answered next to me.

"Don't mind that kid, I need you and your team to get the people to safety. I'll handle this." I ordered him, but when he tried to argue. I just ignored him and ran towards the VIP booth, where everyone is settled at.

As I got in, I was jumped by a shaking Liliana, who most likely felt the power of two legendaries clashing against one another.

"Haise! Please tell me we are in a dream! I don't think I can handle the pressure from those two monsters!" She yelled, shaking like a leaf while holding back bile.

"Jesus christ. If this is how you are reacting to just two... I can't imagine an all out war." I commented as I patted her head to calm her down.

"Deonora, are you doing ok?" I asked a queasy looking Deonora.

"I-I'm fine... Just shaken from the sudden clash of power from those two." She replied, holding on to Lilith who looks no worse for wear.

"Crap, everyone. I want you all back at my base and let me handle the situation... Lucario, call in some of the other to help carry the unconscious ones inside the base." Lucario nodded and disappeared in a flash.

"Lilith, can you try putting up a barrier?"

"I can, but I don't think it would help against this sheer pressure coming from those two Pokemons." She replied, keeping Deonora straight.

"Just do it, it should ease up the pressure made by those two Legendaries." I told her and she quickly erected a dome of Demonic Energy. Which immediately eased the pressure on everyone inside the room.

"Master, I have returned with Machamp." Lucario spoke as Machamp came in after him.

"Good. Machamp, carry the unconscious back to base and tell the Florges to use Aroma Therapy on them." Machamp replied with a cry before gently carrying the unconscious Kirsche, Sapphirette, Grey, and Obsidian.

Lucario meanwhile, aided Lilith and Deonora. While I carried Liliana.

"Let's go." They nodded and we all got out of the VIP room.

I glanced up to the sky, and found Mega Rayquaza already locked in midair combat with the armored Shadow Lugia.

"Rayquaza! Aim to remove the armor on Lugia! I'll go grab the machine to turn it back, so hold on tight!" I yelled through howling winds, which Mega Rayquaza somehow heard.

As soon as I and my pokemon brought everyone inside my base, I immediately gathered a new selection of Pokemon to deal with possible threats.

"Moewstic, see if you could detect any malicious activity around the village. Zarude, you're on offensive defence. Shaymin, use Aroma Therapy on the villagers, and Jigglypuff... Sing on the more panicked ones." All of them nodded and went to do their assigned tasks.

The entire operation went as smoothly as a raging Shadow Lugia can cause damage. Which was not smooth at all, mostly due to said pokemon being outright unstable and is firing Aeroblasts everywhere.

"Ah fuck it, I'm getting tired of this charade. Rayquaza! Swords Dance and go for Dragon's Ascent after!" I commanded, and noticing how annoyed I got. Rayquaza immediately did as it was told.

But instead of body slamming Shadow Lugia with said move, it aimed for the armored head. Knocking it out cold.

Of course, the impact made the iconic gong noise.

...

And the consequential shattering of said armor from the head of the shadow Lugia.

The Mon fell from the sky, though Rayquaza, now back in it's normal form. Got underneath it and gently guided it down to the ground.

I gave it a quick thanks before focusing on searching for the device. After a few minutes of searching, I found it. Aimed the rather gun-like shape at Lugia, and shot it with a bright blue beam.

Almost immediately, it's coloring went back to its natural color.

I then looked at an Audino in my ranch, nodded to it, and it understood what I needed it to do.

Moving closer to the Lugia, it then used Heal Pulse. The pinking aura of the move covered Lugia, and just as soon as the effect ended, it opened it's eyes. A fee blinks and it realized where it was and faced me.

"Champion... I thank you, for freeing me once again." It lowered its head in a bow.

"It's no big deal... Just tell me who or which team decided to do that to you." I replied almost nonchalantly. Making everyone around me look at me as if I barely acknowledge that the Pokemon before me is a Legendary.

"Thank you, Champion... But alas, It is rather unfortunate as I don't recall seeing my captors." It replied solemnly.

I reached out and patted its head.

"Don't feel so down, Lugia. I'm glad I get to help you again." I smiled, earning me a noise of gratitude from it.

"Now, get some rest in my ranch for a while, and you can leave... Or if you want, stay a little longer." I offered.

"Thank you again, Champion... But, I cannot stay for too long. My wards would be causing trouble again if I am gone for too long." I let out a soft chuckle at that.

"Right, forgot those three are worse than a mother hen when it comes to you... Literally." Lugia let out a soft and amused growl.

"Then, I will rest here for some time... I still can't believe this kind of technology has survived the passage of time." It replied.

"Me too, Lugia. Now go and rest. I'll handle the situation." I told it.

"I... Apologize for the damage I had caused, Champion." It apologized sincerely.

"As I've said, it's alright. There was no casualties thanks to my quick response and everyone's cooperation." I replied, patting its head again.

With a nod, it made its way to my second ranch... One hidden within a valley surrounded by the savanna mountains. Where many more Legendaries, then to use as their vacation spot whenever possible.

I nodded, turned around, and faced a whole bunch of shocked and surprised faces from the villagers, Hugo, and Monster Women... Hell, even the ones that got knocked out are awake and gawking at me

"What? I get you guys, but you girls? Y'all should've expected this by now that this is the norm." I tolled my eyes with a huff and made my way back to my base.

"Hugo, while we didn't get to finish our match. You showed great courage and determination to help those around you... I'm glad to see the youth still has the quality of those before them. Come see me later before seven, we'll talk about something." I told Hugo as I passed by him. His Garchomp looking at me oddly before to it's trainer.

We finally got to my base, to which I made a simple dinner for us to enjoy.

"So... Mind explaining me why a legendary creature, that is said to create storms just from a single flap of its wings bowed down before you?" Liliana asked as she sat on my lap. Earning a lot of glares from the other girls, and giggling from her mother.

"Long story short... I saved God." I told them nonchalantly.

...

"Ehh?!"

"Goddamnit, no yelling. My ears hurt."

A/N: This is subpar... Like, not even up to par standards in my book. But I'll do better next chapter... Hopefully... I'm pulling out the religious card for the next week of training... I has a 2pm to 10pm shift... On the very next day 10pm to 6am graveyard shift...

AND THIS IS TRAINING BY THE WAY! That's all and SOUL out!
