Chapter Five
I was at the studio, working on some new episodes of "Cooking with a Killer Robot!" I was in my dressing room, when I heard a faint knock on the door. "Mettaton, you're on in five minuets." Toriel's voice announced.
"Okay, darling, be out soon~" I said, admiring my reflection. I took a deep breath, and exited the room. I was about to go on set when I noticed a familiar face, and a familiar red scarf. "Papyrus, darling, hello!" I greeted, sashaying over to him. His brother, Sans was there too, but he was talking to Toriel by the crew.
"O-Oh, hey, M-Mettaton." He greeted, an orange tint sneaking up on his cheek bones.
"Oh, darling, I'm so glad you're here!" I said, playfully placing a metal hand on his shoulder. His blush deepened as I flirted.
"Mettaton! You're up!" A voice called.
"Got to go, darling, but you're welcome, by all means, to stay if you'd like." I winked, heading off to go record.
Five episodes later, and I was in my dressing room. My makeup was half melted, and I was parched. I had to take off my makeup, and do it all over again. I heard a knock at the door. "Diane! Not now!" I yelled, slumping in a bean bag chair.
"Mettaton? It's me! The Great Papyrus!" A voice announced from the other side of the door. I quickly shuffled out of my chair, checked my reflection, dusted myself off, and opened the door.
"Oh, Papyrus, darling! What's brings you by? Couldn't get enough of me~?" I flirted, biting my lip. He blushed a bright orange.
"Nyeh!" He stumbled for words.
"Darling, I'm just kidding!" I giggled. "C'mon in." I motioned for him to step in, to which he complied. I closed the door behind him, and sat back down in my comfy bean bag. "Oh, do take a seat, dear." I motioned to a bean bag across from my own. He, once again, complied. "Darling, I must say, I'm so glad you dropped by."
"Well, of course! I, the Great Papyrus, was your biggest fan down in the underground!" He announced.
"Was?"
"Oh, well, I, uh,-"
"Darling, I'm just joking around!" I laughed. "You don't need to be so tense around me. Unless, you want me to make things hard for you." I smirked, eyeing from his pelvis to his face, before erupting into laughter.
"Nyeh...heh heh..." He tried to relax. I looked at the clock on the wall.
"Oh, darling, I have to go." I handed him a piece of paper with my number on it. "Call me. We can meet up for coffee, to talk about our 'mission'" I winked.
"Nyeh heh heh! Of course!" He said as we headed out of the studio. We stopped in front of my car. His brother was waiting in a familiar blue car. "Well, it was nice talking to you, Mettaton!" He said.
"The pleasure is mine." I smiled. I took his gloved hand of kissed the back of it, before driving away from the, madly blushing, skeleton.
