The sun shone through my window, awaking me from my slumber.

That movie night was a week ago, we haven't really had time to have another one since there is so much school work to get done.

We are in the middle of maths class, which is our 3rd lesson for the day, our teachers put on a movie, because we have to do questions on it, but I just can't focus. They've worked everyone so hard, I've been staying up till 11:30pm trying to finish all the work they've set and I've been late for first class a lot!

Now I'm sitting next to Newt, he looks exhausted, his face pale, and head drooping.

My eyes start to get heavy, I blink slowly, still looking at Newt, then I'm asleep.

Suddenly I wake up to Newt shaking me awake, "Lara! Lara!" He whisper yelled, "Wake up!"

I slowly open my eyes and realise the class room is emptying.

I stand up and put my bag on, Newt leads me out the door to our elective class, drama.

..

We walk through the door, into the drama room.

"Take your shoes off and leave your bags in the pidgin holes." The teacher says as we enter.

Newt and I sit on the floor, remove our shoes and put our bags in the pidgin holes.

"Once you're done, please come to the middle of the room." The teacher says, while flipping through today's lesson.

We meet Rachel and Thomas in the middle of the room, then Minho and Brenda join us. We all decided to choose the same electives for 2 classes, and the third one will be whatever.

We all chose drama and P.E prac, and my third one is art/photography.

"Okay, now that we have everyone in the middle, I would like you all to take a partner, of any gender, and stand at the side of the room." Mrs Brontington, or Mrs Bronti for short, instructed.

Rachel and I partner up, Brenda was left with Newt or Thomas, because Minho took Melody.

Thomas took Brenda, I think they're cute together, which left Newt, a girl, Milly, is who he decided to ask, and for some reason I felt anger, I didn't know why, so I pushed it down and continued following instructions.

We danced with our partner, roll-played in front of the class with them, and then we had to swap and start again with new partner.

I walked over to Newt, "Hey, stranger, need help finding a partner?" I ask, cheerfully.

"Aah, yeah actually, know anyone who'd want to be with me?" I blush, be with him.

"Hmm, that's a tough one," I put on a thinking face "I don't know, do you know anyone who would wanna be with me?"

"Can't say I do." He replies.

"Uh, well um..." I get awkward "if I don't have anyone, and you don't have anyone........ What will we do?!"

"Not sure, what do you think?" He asked, he looked serious too.

"I don't know!" I smile, then put on a straight face.

He smirks, "How about..... We....... Split up another pair and partner up with them!"

"Oh," I frown, "wouldn't that be a bit mean though?"

"Nah, I know, if we partner up, then split up and then partner up with the ones we split up...." He thought.

"We will be partners, great idea, why didn't we think of this earlier?!" I say sarcastically.

"I don't know, partner." He winked.

I hide my blush, "heh, yeah, partner."
