Lara

Today's classes have been terrible today, the ones with Newt in them go far too long and the ones without him are way too short, it's torture.

I see Newt too much lately, sure we use to be best friends and always be around each other, but now he's with Milly I can't stand to be around him without feeling like my heart will explode.

I pretend that everything's fine, I put on a smile for him, but then I see how nicely he treats Milly and my heart craves for it to be the one with him.

Rachel has been supporting me and the others are still angry at Newt, but I've convinced them to be nice to him.

It's now lunch and I decide to talk to Newt, not about me liking him, but just to bring our friendship back to normal.

"Hey, Newt!" I greet "Whatcha up to?"

"Ahh, well you see, I'm planing where to take Milly for our data tonight." He smiles up at me.

I give him a fake smile back, "That's cool, where you gonna take the lucky girl?"

"Hmm, I was thinking to that little café that you showed me, I think she'll like it!" He beams.

My face drops, that was our place, now he's taking her there.

"You alright? Lara?" He asks concerned.

"I-I just thought that was our place." I sighed.

"Well now it's Yours, Mine and Milly's!" He cheered.

I frowned, "Yeah..." I drifted off in my words.

"Hey, it's alright, it's still our place." He assured.

This made me sadder "Not anymore," I mumbled "bye."

I walked away from him, not only did he leave me for Milly, now he's going to make our places theirs.

........

That afternoon I went back to my dorm and took a shower to think.

I can't go on like this, Newt obviously likes me only as a friend, so I guess I should like him equally, not more.

I should let him be with Milly, it's not like I ever told him how I felt, I should stop being so harsh on him liking her, I should be happy for them and accept it.

I don't see why I even bothered liking him, I probably just was going through that faze where if a guy does a nice gesture towards you, you get a crush on them, that's all, I guess I never really liked him that much.

I'm going to stay off having crushes for a while, then maybe I'll actually fall for someone because I like them, not because they were polite to me.

Newt POV

Lara didn't seem very pleased that I wanted to take my girlfriend to the place she showed me, but it's not like it won't be our spot anymore.

Then my mind drifts back to her gloom and sadness of when I said it would be the three of ours place, she probably doesn't want to be a third wheel and she's right, we still need a best friend place.

I decide to take Milly somewhere else, I don't want Lara and my friendship to get broken more, it's already crumbled since I've been with Milly, so I guess I'll have to try and mend it.

.......

I walk to Milly's dorm to take her on the date, I'm dressed in a nice suit and well, Milly and I have been dating for a while now, but I feel this date will be very special.

I knock on the door and after a few seconds the door is opened by Sophia, Milly's dorm mate, "Is Milly here?" I ask with a smile.

Sophia's face goes pale, "Uhh....... Sh-she's busy."

"What do yo mean, she new about the date, she never told me there was something she had to do first." I question.

"Ahhh-" I cut her off.

"Where is she!" I say, anger and worry starting to lace my words.

Sophia looks over at Milly's room, I storm over and open the door, but I see something that I wish I never had to see.

"NEWT!" Milly yells from her bed,  with another guy with her.

"What's this?!" I ask confused.

"Ahh... Well you see, he rang the doorbell and I thought it was you but it wasn't and he, uh, yeah..." I narrow my eyes at her.

"I loved you!!! And this is how you repay me!! WE'RE OVER, FOREVER!!!" I yell at her and storm out of their dorm, trying to loose my thoughts of what I saw.

A/N ok I'm sorry, I don't like talking about ucky stuff, and so you know, it wasn't inappropriate stuff, they were just kissing ok!

I know Minho, Melody, Thomas and Brenda are on another double date, and Rachel is out helping set up for the year 10 disco, so the only place I could think to go is to Lara, the one person I know I can trust.
