Newt

Milly took me somewhere quiet and asked me something, "N-Newt, will you go out with me?"

I smiled, "Of course!"

It made me happy and sad, it means I'll probably be spending more time with her than my friends, that I won't be with Lara, but she doesn't like me like that anyway, so it won't be any different. But also its happy because it means Milly will be my girlfriend, the love of my life.

We walk back to our table, but Lara isn't there.

I look around, then I see the others sitting around, looking gloomy.

"Hey guys, what's the matter? Have you seen Lara?!" I say once I get to them.

They just turn from me and continue being gloomy.

"Hey, what's wrong with you guys?! I guess you realised I've got a girlfriend now, yet you can't even say congratulations, or be happy for me! That's it, I'm gonna go with Milly, no matter what you think!" I storm off, Milly's hand in mine.

Why are they so gloomy, can't they even be happy for me, and why won't they tell me where Lara is, I though all of them would be happy for me, especially Lara, but she's nowhere to be found.

Rachel:

I told the others about how Newt was gonna get asked out by Milly, and we all know he likes Lara, a LOT, we also know that Lara won't be able to bare him being with another girl.

Why did he have to let her go like this, is he truly that blind to the fact that Lara is in love with him?

"How could he do this, it's obvious that Lara is into him, why can't he just accept it, instead of goofing around with Milly!" Minho scowled.

"He's broken her heart." I sigh.

"And here comes the guy now." Brenda says and put her head down with a roll of her eyes.

Newt speaks, but no one responds, so he try's again, but this time he gets angry, not concerned, but angry!

We continue to ignore him until he storms off with Milly.

"We can't talk to him with Milly around." Thomas says.

"We won't be able to talk to him without her around either, he's angry at us." I sigh.

"Well what do we do?" Thomas asks.

"I guess we just wait it out and comfort Lara through this hard time."

"Yeah, I guess, but we have to at least mention it to Newt, that his hurting her." Minho suggested.

"No," we all turn around and see Lara. "Just let it go, he can be with her, I'm not in charge of his life, if he loves her, let him love her, I'll be fine."

"B-but Lara, you love him." I say, wondering why she would let this go.

"Yeah, but he obviously doesn't love me back." She sighs.

I frown and stand up, giving her a hug.

"You'll find the right guy for you, trust me." I smile.

"I already thought I did." She pulls away from the hug and walks away.
