Newt and I were laughing together before school, when Milly comes over.

She smiles shyly "Um, Newt, could I have a word with you... Please."

"Uh.." He looks at me, I give him a smile and nod. "Sure."

They leave me sitting there a lone, that's when my heart started to ache again, but this time, more than it had ever before, I felt sick, and my eyes got misty.

How could I let this happen?!

Maybe they're just talking about class, hopefully.

Shortly Rachel joined me, noticing I was alone.

"Hey, what's up, where's Newt?" She asks.

"He's with her." I sigh.

"Who? Milly?" She asks again, obviously knowing the answer.

I nod, "That's the one."

Rachel frowns and sit next to me, putting an arm around my back.

"It'll be alright, remember what I said before, you just need to try other people before you get together." She try's to reassure me.

"Yeah.. Try other people." I say blankly.

"Lara." She frowns.

"I need some space." I stand up, my eyes still blurring with tears.

"Lar-"

"Please, Rachel, I need this." I beg.

She nods and let's me go.

I sit under a tree and listen to music, one of the songs choruses sang 'IF YOU LOVE ME LET ME GO' and I thought, as long as Newt is happy, I should be happy too, but letting him go would be too hard, I brought my knees up to my chest and cried into them, it was like two parts of me said different things, my head sang 'If you love me let me go' but my heart sang 'Never let me go' 'cause you only know you love him when you let him go.
