(Y/n) POV

It's been a week since Winter started acting really weird and it is starting to bother me. I found her in the mess hall and she was currently talking with some cat faunas which had pink hair, cyan eyes who was wearing a light blue tank top and shorts. she also had roller skates on and was skating around winter by who's voice sounded like she was very irritated 

"You just need to go for it" the cat faunas said circling her and winter said red in the face 

"It's not that simple. I cant just do it! It's not that simple!" she then stomped away from her and went the opposite direction from me. I then walked up to the cat faunas and asked her 

"What was that about?" 

"She is trying to figure out a way to confess to her crush" she said and then asked me 

"Hey. aren't you that mercenary that Ironwood hired?" 

"Yep, that's me" her eyes then turned to rainbows and said

"That's so cool! Does that mean that you have done some pretty cool stuff right!" 

"Well, one of my jobs did involve me and Winter driving a tank down the freeway and smashing everything in our path" 

"Wow, by the way I'm Neon" 

"(Y/n)" I eventually after answering Neon's questions went off to find Winter. I found her just outside my room pacing back and forth, she seemed to be saying things. From what I've heard she is saying "I'll ask him about dinner, movie , then I'll tell him how I feel" she then was about to knock on my door then said "but what if he doesn't like the dinner or the movie? What if he rejects me? Ugh, this is so stressful" I then snuck up behind her and I said 

"RWAR!" as I let go of her waist she shrieked 

"AHHHHHHH!" I wrapped my arm around my stomach trying to hold in my laughter 

"Hahahaha you should have hahaha seen your face hahaha!" she then punched my arm saying 

"That was so not cool" 

"But it was pretty funny for me.  Anyways what are you here for?" her face got red and then said 

"I, um, wanted to know, um, if you wouldliketogooutwithme!?" 

"Sure Schnee I wouldn't mind" I said and she then had a look of relief and said 

"Really!? I mean good then come by and pick me up around 6 tomorrow" she said then walked away. I then went into my room and took off my armor and laid on my bed thinking 'Well (Y/n) you got a date tomorrow. Wonder what Winter is doing?'

Winter POV

'I did it! I got to ask out (Y/n)!' I thought as I walked quickly to my room. When I got there my thoughts then turned to what was I going to wear. I quickly opened my closet to see nothing but my military uniform. 'Looks like I've got some shopping to do' I thought and on my way I passed Neon and she asked me 

"Well Winter, how did it go?" 

"I asked him out. But I need to get an appropriate outfit" I said. She then grabbed my hand and said 

"Well, I'm coming to help you then" and we ran off.
