Clear skies, warm weather, in other words: a perfect day. But not for one girl. Why? Its the full moon. Why is that important? Yeah, she's a werewolf.

All Mara could do was rush to her hideout and hope to get there before sunset. 5:00... 6:00... Sundown..
The moon rose over the building and Mara facepalmed. "You couldn't wait one more minute, could you?" she muttered to the moon. Suddenly a boy crashed into her.
"Out of my way, I need to go! Its sundown!!" he screamed. Mara looked at him.
"I'm going to guess you're trying to go for the same reason I am."
The boy looked at her, "You mean.. You're also a werewolf?"
"Yes! Now let's go! The moon's almost at it's peak!"
"Right... Right!" the boy exclaimed. So they ran inside the building right as they both transformed. Mara a russet colored wolf with a green eyes and the boy a black wolf with purple eyes.
Mara, trying not to hurt anyone started clawing at herself. The boy looked at her with horror. "You're hurting yourself!"
"Would you rather I hurt you?" Mara cried.
Soon the moon sunk over the building and they transformed back. Mara was lying on the ground with scratches all over her. She groaned. "Are you okay?" the boy asked.
"Does it look like it?"
"Right.. Sorry." the boy helped her up. "what's your name? I'm Kanu."
"Mara. And I'd better get going," Mara grabbed her stuff and rushed home.
