Mara was walking to the park with her earbuds in when a familiar boy bumped into her. "Kanu!" She exclaimed.
"Hello Mara," Kanu replied. "How are you?"
"Good. Sore, but good" Mara replied.
"Well that's good," Kanu grabbed her arm. "Where are you going?"
"Oh. Uh, Central Park!"
"Great! May I come along?"
"Sure.." Mara replied uneasily. They had known each other for a day and he was acting like he was in love with her!
Soon they reached Central Park. Then something very unexpected happened. Kanu kissed Mara. "Uh.. Uh.. Sorry!" Kanu gasped. "That was..."
"I didn't mind" Mara replied. She was blushing.
"You.. You didn't? But.."
"Oh shut up," Mara kissed him again.
"Okay. Time to get serious now" Mara looked at him. "Was that your first transformation?" Kanu shook his head. "It wasn't."
"Oh. Okay" Mara replied. "Do your parents know?" Kanu shook his head again. "Are you going to tell them?" Mara asked.
"I don't have any plans to."
"Why though? They can help you!"
"Seriously Mara?! They'll kick me out! They can't live with a werewolf as a son!!" Mara looked shocked.
"I was bitten when I was six. I still live with my parents. They didn't cast me out.."
"Whatever. Just drop the subject. I'm going home. See you tomorrow" Kanu hissed.
