To get feedback you can write a question in the A/N or you could message people who are reading your story. 

I get the most comments on Do I Ship because I have asked for people to request ships for me to write about and some people write about their opinion as a comment. 

Weird stories tend to get comments too.  I get random notifications from my Brason story because people comment and vote on it.  So write about something strange and you will pull people in :)

You do get negative comments though and when that happens try not to take it personally.  Try replying  to the comment in a formal matter and see if you can work it out.  Most of the time the people who do hateful comments are just trying to make people lose confidence when their writing is actually really good.  You will feel bad if you get a negative comment but try to focus on the positive comments rather than the negative ones.
