I'm confused as hell....

Wasn't we was supposed to be NOT doing dates?......

Running off from my confused stance , I ran behind Donte, who was just walking with a blank face like he didn't just say what he just said in the classroom.

"Donte! Wait damn it!" stopping which made me hit his hard back and fell over on my back while he still stood still.

"Yes Adonis?" helping up and dusting me off and back,only so he could touch my ass,which made me swatted his hand away.

"What the hell was that back there? You told me that we shouldn't do the dating. What made you change your mind?" shrugging his shoulders he went back to walking which made me mad a little.

"I guess I changed my mind, but hey you don't have to take me out,just me. I told you it's only for a grade,so don't get your panties in a bunch."walking outside leaving me in my spot. If I'm being honest,it hurt a little when he say it like that. I don't know I guess I got used to the sweet side,but now he being very stand off but I brushed it off.

" I'm not smartass. I'm just making sure you making the right choice of doing this. So where you going to take me?" shaking his no,I got mad so I went into baby face.

"I'm not telling you. Only I know and your baby faces ain't go work for me, so you can stop all that" groaning annoyingly, he laughed which ended when Shauna just popped out of no where and stopped Donte who rolled his eyes.

"What do you want now Shauna?"rolling her eyes she gave him something in his hands,which looked like a piece of paper.

"Read the paper and call me,or you know what's go happen. Bye. Oh hey Adonis,how's Donnrie?" popping her gun,which I bet that is stale like her no walls having pussy.

"Don't worry about MY man. He doing something better than fucking with a nasty bitch like yourself." crossing my arms, and seeing her roll her eyes smirking and walking off snickering.

"What was that all about?"

"Don't worry about it. So is you and Donnrie back talking on good terms?" modding my head, we walked to his car

"Yeah, but he still in the doggy house so it doesn't matter. Bit how you been?"

"I've been alright I got a lot of shit to do to minimize this drama with Kevin,but me and my father working on that connection. I went to visit before coming up here." making me nod in understanding. He's been going through it back and forth with Kevin.

"That's good. So what you finna do now?" shrugging his shoulders he got into his car and started it up.

"I'm going to go to my grandma's house to go check up on her,you want to go?" checking my phone to see if I have anything to do,which looks like a big no.

"Sure,I'll drive behind you." nodding his head,he closed his door while I ran to my car, getting inside and starting up to get behind him.

A couple of minutes later, we arrived in front a nice house with a lady that looked beautiful with age rocking in her chair, parking behind his car and turning it off. Getting out, I seen Donte greet her with a kiss on the cheek which mean this is his grandmother. Walking up the stairs I was about give her a handshake to be polite,but she looked at my hand swatting it away and pulling me into a hug which was very warm.

"We hug around here love. So you must be the one and only Adonis that my grand baby BooBoo be talking about all the time" hearing Donte groan in embarrassment,making me almost choke on my spit from laughing so hard.

"Yes ma'am. So BooBoo talks about me?" nodding her head, while pulling me inside with Donte looking like a red tomato.

"Chy all the time but let me show some pictures of when he was a baby, and that you could try some of my cooking I'm making today." going towards a cabinet in the living room, grabbing a book. When she sat down next to me she opens the book going to a picture with a baby in the bath tub smiling and looks like he's laughing. I started cooing and laughing.

"Grandma, come on! No one needs to see me as I was a baby" smacking him upside the head

"Boy, shut the hell up, I can do what I want. You lucky I ain't tell him what you did when you 4 years old" which made me look intrigued.

"What he do when was 4 years old?" seeing his eyes go big.

"Chy, when he was  listening to my old music,ummm, Oh! I remember. He was dancing to James Brown song I Feel Good, and while I was cleaning my kitchen, he came out of no where sliding almost hitting the wall dancing with brush, in his underwear with a pair of sunglasses, singing with the song. I swear he felt he was in the music. That day, he was just a goofy person. I miss those days." seeing a tear go down her face, I got a tissue and wiped her face and gave her a hug,which she returned.

"I understand. But she's in a better place, it takes time,trust me, I know. To a good topic, what's smell good cooking in the kitchen right now?" smiling she rose up and walked to the kitchen and open the oven and pulled out a big pan of Mac and cheese, and it looks extra cheesy. She then walked to a big pot and stirred the pot and the smell of collard greens came into my nose.

"Well I'm cooking some Mac and cheese, Collard Greens. I already made the Cornbread and Mash Potatoes. Just need to make the Sweet Potato Pie. You want to help?" nodding my head, I grabbed the bowl with Mash Potatoes that looked homemade.

"You know, Donte really likes you, and I can tell you like him too. And before you sit here and say you don't, you can't fool me. You looking at him like how I looked at my husband before he passed away. Only thing I can tell you, if your heart is with him,go for it,but if you prolong it, your going to be too late. I love seeing him happy when he talk about you. Your changing him for the better more than you know." making me nod my head in understanding, and looked over at Donte to see him looking at pictures of his Mom and smiling a little bit.

My Heart Says Donte,But What About Donnrie?

Will I Make Mistake Of Letting Him Go, Or Will I Make A Mistake Of Doing Something?
