Seeing Adonis get along with my grandmother was breathtaking. As soon as she seen him she fell in love with him,and that made me happy as hell. When she met Kevin,she wasn't like this, she was the complete opposite. When Kevin left she was right there with me when I was depressed,but I apologized to her because she told how it was going end and I didn't listen. So seeing her get along and love him in first sight made me feel like I'm doing the right thing of trying to make him more than what I intended when we first started.

While they was in the kitchen talking, I was looking at pictures of my mom when she was happy and  had a light in her smile, before after all that had  happened, while I got a call from my cousin wanting to talk to me about something,but I don't know what it's about, but something tell me it's about another bitch.....again. Answering the phone, I put it on my ear.

"What fool?" putting the picture down,walking to the back porch screen door and exiting out side.

"Aye man, you at grandma house?", responding with a yeah and that I had company he continued, " Well, I'm gonna come over in a bit, because their is something I need to tell you, and I don't want to tell Grandma.....yet. But who you got over there with you?"looking the phone like he crazy,even though he can't see me

"Don't worry about all that,just come on over because grandma cook and you know when she cook I'll eat all the food" smirking  hearing him hang up quickly,knowing him he about to get in his car and zoom his ass over here. Hearing the screen door open, I looked and seen it was my grandma, sitting down in her chair,she smiled at me

"That young man in their is very nice, I like him. Why haven't you took him away yet?" face- palming myself because she doesn't know how that make her sound.

"Because he have someone. And I don't want to be like my dad,I already have enough on my plate as it is,I don't want to start a water or beef with someone that I was friends with years ago."nodding her head in understanding,she grabbed her cup and spit in it.

"Who he dates chy?"

"Donnrie"hearing her blow her breathe heavily annoyed about him.

"He could do way better than that demon. You know I don't like him,he was friends with that Kevin,matter of fact,he was the one who got you and Kevin together. That Adonis better be careful around him,he is dangerous."nodding, agreeing with her

"Yeah,but there's not much I can do about it. They both was friends before getting together. It hurts seeing them. I want to prove to him that I really but-" cutting me off with a take sound

"You don't want to open up to him. You don't want to be sensitive for once. Look baby, I understand you want to be a stone hard, thotish,and yes I said that, you want to persuade people but let me tell you something,if you don't wake up and stop it,your going to lose him, forever. From the way we talked a little more,I got to understand him more,and I can tell he cares about you more than you know. So wake up. Unless you have a child on the way,then go for it. Even if you have a child,go for it......you have a child?" nervously chuckling, scratching the back of my head, she face palmed herself.

"Who's the baby momma?"

"Shauna" looking at me like I lost my mind, rolling her eyes

"That's not your baby. She's a whore,sorry for my language. I knew her mother's mother,and she was a whore back in the day. Everyone know about her. Look, regardless of the situation,until that baby comes out be there for her,but if it comes out that it isn't, sorry for my language,drop that bitch where she is. I'm not disappointed in you,you had a minor setback but you'll back up." hearing that from her felt good a little. Hearing the screen door open I seen Adonis come out with flour  all over his shirt. Grandma got up and went back inside,with Adonis sitting next to me while we sat in a comfortable silence.

"Who would've thought I would be meeting your family? Before I couldn't stand you,you still have your moments when I want to hot you upside the head,but other than that-" cutting him off

"I got Shauna pregnant"looking at him while he got quiet a little but smiled a little

"Oh wow...umm, I don't know what to say. How you feel about being a father?" giving me his attention,shrugging my shoulders

"Well I don't know. One moment in happy, then another I'm shocked and afraid what if I turn like my father or end up more worse than him? But other than that I'm a little disappointed that I didn't have my first child with someone I really cared about,but the baby is here,there's nothing I can do about it." hitting my shoulder my playfully making me laugh

"Look, you're not go turn into your father, if you want to become better than him,then start now. I know you can't stand the bit- I mean the mother of your future child,but show her that you are ready to be a parent. I know it's go be hard but you got to be looking at the big picture your going to have a little Donté or daughter around with you. And don't worry,I'll here whenever you need me, you'll have your grandmother and any other family members to be there for your support." looking at him while smiled and put his head on my shoulder, I knew then and right there, at that moment,

I was falling in love with him
